I used to play this game with my cousin all the time..it was so much fun T_T during summer we didnt even sleep because we HAD to play the game and it never got boring. It was all so different back then.
I played this with my mom when I was younger. I was usually running around dressed as a panda, messing with everyone, hilariously running past my mother's sim while she was busy completing missions. We made up entire conversations and stories and when we hated a sim we would roast the crap out of them (Torin, that asshole) XD And when I first saw this I cried with laughter. I hope I can persuade my mom to play again one of these days!
Oh man, I love the sims. My grandma left me her Playstation 2 when she passed, along with a lot of the older sims games, including this one. She introduced me to video games, and I'm so happy she did! This one is one of my favorites, with the first sims because of the music and the Sims 3 because of the creativity and wide range of choices. Love you, Grandma. Thank you for the great memories and cultivating my love for video games.
This and The Urbz was literally my whole life as a child. I'm so glad I still have this & The Sims Bustin' Out for my PS2! I just gotta find a copy of The Urbz…ahh, nostalgia!

The Sims 2 was hands down, the best Sims i have ever played and experience. It's really sad because EA doesn't make copies anymore and I lost the freaking disc, i would love to collect all the expansions but sadly that's never gonna happen :'(

lol ive been playing this game for years and only just recently completed it a few months ago, back in the day, i never knew about some bonus lots as well which i recently discovered, it was so satisfying to see an end cut-scene

AnnaChanel100 i didnt mean that, i meant that you could play these games on a 7th gen console, its always best to play them on the highest gen console as then the specs are higher; higher resolution, higher fps, and quicker load times, its easier anyway (or atleast for me) to have them on 7th gen as i always have my xbox 360 out whereas i dont have my ps2 out. these games are now pretty much unplayable on 6th gen anyway as they run at 480i, if it isnt 1080p or above, then its not good enough
MorganLeeR Those are actually my biggest issues with The Sims 4 (excluding Schools not having active versions), the neighbourhoods not being open (I can deal with worlds not being open) and the lack of a competent MasterController. The modding community for The Sims 4 is crazy, but somehow there's no good MasterController mod.

We would build our house and lived together. The creativity of this game was what made it so different from the computer games. I like the multiplayer, and I really wish they would try bringing it back.
I literally remember every single sound of this intro because I saw it so much when playing as a kid. The console version of this game was incredible despite not having all the expansion packs that the PC version had. And 2 player splitscreen!

Sims 2 introduced me to the Sims. I absolutely loved it and I only had the base game and the pets pack.
