Bruce anyone who owns a Tesla buys a charger which you can do very cheaply if you want with a Nema 14-50. That means you never go to the gas station because you’re always on a “full tank”. The 30 seconds it takes to plug-in at home when you get back now eliminates the 5-15 minutes it takes to go to the gas station and get gassed up. Tesla supercharger network is also extremely good. Since the average commuter in the US only goes about 16 miles one way never going to the gas station again would drastically reduce time wasted and even in the base model would never even come close to being an issue. Also, check out the safety of the car. It was rated as the "lowest probability of injury" by NHTSA of any car.
All your points regarding charging at home are true, but not really applicable if you park on the street as I do. I intend to address safety and quality in another video - soon as I get my hands on another Tesla model. This video was more of a "first impressions" theme. Thanks for checking the video out!
Yeah the only way you want an electric vehicle with street parking is if your work had a charger then you just do it at the opposite at end. Keep up the good work
@@1440dvsone to be honest I spent 20min getting a 15-80% charge which cost me about $10. It’s very inexpensive to run the car even with the hassle. Of course spend another few thousand more for a long range, and now you get a weeks worth of charge plus faster.
Also, love the "chuck norris in a gimp suit"!
