    In my experience, you have to select the object and then it's BSDF node in Shade Editor for it to show keyframes properly on the timeline.

      You're always welcome, Ricardo..!! :) Thank you for watching..!! :)
      You mean earthquake beacon (light) objects on the surface of the wireframe earth? :) Yes, they can be added like this.. :)
      Method #1 - Animated material - ruclips.net/video/EaMt6L9tNC0/видео.html .
      - Place a beacon on the map, and parent it (e.g. Select the light, and Shift select the Earth. Control "P" to parent it.)
      - Animate the beacon's material (probably as Emission) to blink while the Earth rotates.
      There could be more methods, such as 'Color transition - ruclips.net/video/6ItCDA1eh-o/видео.html ' or animating a parented point light on the surface of the Earth. :)

      Planet size comparison.. You mean like this?
      i.imgur.com/vetBtSF.jpeg
      That would be easy to make.
      1. Import a planet size comparison chart image.
      2. Create UV spheres and place them above the planet images.
      3. Import planet image textures and apply them to the spheres.
      4. Create a planet.
      5. Move the planets around and render the scene..!! :)

      An outline, you mean like this? :)
      i.imgur.com/1jHrf1q.jpg
      ** Tutorial - How to add an outline with Photoshop **
      1. Open the original .TIFF image with Photoshop.
      2. Pick black as the primary color.
      3. Go to [Select] -> [Color Range] and click any landmass regions (in black color).
      4. [Control + C] and [Control +V] to add the selected image to a new layer.
      5. Hide the original layer.
      6. Now we have the landmass image with a transparent background.
      7. Double click the new layer (e.g. Layer 1).
      8. Select [Stroke].
      9. Add a new outline (via stroke) by using any colors.
      10. Save as new image (Preferably as .PNG)..!! :)

    How do you make it spin for longer and slower

    • @BlenderStudy
      @BlenderStudy  2 года назад

      Thank you for watching, ike..!! :)
      1. At the right bottom corner of the screen, there are 'Start (Number)' and 'End (Number)' values.
      2. Change the End value to 3600.
      3. Animate the spin by keyframing at frame 1, go to frame 3600, change the rotation of the Earth mesh to 360, and set a new keyframe at frame 3600.
      4. Play the animation, and the Earth is rotating much slower, and the animation is at least 10 times longer. :)

    How to create a loop for this animation ?

    • @BlenderStudy
      @BlenderStudy  Год назад

      Thank you for watching, yuc5609..!! :)
      1. Create a keyframe on 'Rotation Z' at 0 degrees.
      2. Go to the last frame, and change the 'Rotation Z' to 359 degrees and create a new keyframe.
      3. Play the animation, and you'll notice the animations slows down at the first and the last frame.
      4. In Animation tab, go to Channel, Extrapolation Mode, and select Linear Extrapolation Mode.
      5. Play the animation and the animation will loop smoothly. :)

    hey nice tutorial but how to do this on cycles?

    • @BlenderStudy
      @BlenderStudy  2 года назад +1

      Thank you for watching, Alexander..!! :)
      The same 3D art can be created in Cycles, but we need to use the Composite node's Glow node.
      This would be a procedure..
      1. Model a wireframed globe mesh, and animate it.
      2. Apply an emission material.
      3. Go to the Composite and add a glowing node as shown in this tutorial. ruclips.net/video/pWzVXFQDSDU/видео.html
      4. Test render a still image, and save it.
      5. If the glow is not visible on the PNG render image file, then create a UV sphere, apply a dark material, and scale it to create a background mesh.
      6. Test render again, and save the image.
      7. Confirm the glow can be seen on the final image.
      8. Render the entire animation when satisfied with the result..!! :)

    • @BlenderStudy
      @BlenderStudy  Год назад

      Thank you for watching, EditStudiosOfficial..!! :) Please increase or decrease the 'End frame' value to adjust the speed. :)
      The default value that can be seen at the bottom of the screen is 250. If the value is changed to a lower value, the animation will be faster. If the value is changed to a higher value, the animation will be slower. :)

      @BlenderStudy  Год назад

      Thank you for watching, Hthttbtvtvtv htgbfbfvfv..!! :)
      This is what I would try for that project.
      1. Create a plane.
      2. Get a SVG with separate country status.
      3. Knife project the SVG image to the plane.
      4. Separate all the countries. (e.g. Type "A" to select all, and type "P" to "Separate by loose parts".)
      5. Turn the plane into a sphere. ( ruclips.net/video/wm5tAuau6s4/видео.html )

      @@BlenderStudy Hi, thanks so much for these videos they are really helpful! I am trying these steps that you listed to make a map with individual countries. However, when I use knifeproject to cut out the map in the plane, blender crashes. Do you have any tips for this? When I first subdivide the plane it works, but all the countries end up being subdivided too.. Thanks!!

    • @BlenderStudy
      @BlenderStudy  Год назад

      @@nikkipotze3136 You're always welcome, nikkipotze3136..!! :) Have you been using a new knife project method? :)
      Blender changed the way we knife project recently, and we must follow these steps now. :)
      ruclips.net/video/UYMOdg2WAME/видео.html
      ruclips.net/video/Dqzthrn6s0c/видео.html
      The basic idea is to have two objects (plane & the individual countries map) and always knife project the map as a curve to get the best result.
      Please try that and see if the new method would work. :)

    • @nikkipotze3136
      @nikkipotze3136 Год назад +1

      @@BlenderStudy Thanks for your reply! I think I have been using those steps. (I select the plane in edit mode, then control select all the individual curves for the countries and then use knife project) When I try to do it for a single continent, it gives a lot of distortions (random lines going through countries etc), for the whole map it just crashes. It does seem to work when I first subdivide the plane by 100, but its difficult for me to go from there, because all countries are then cut up and consist of many faces, and I cannot distinguish between borders and subdivision cuts. Sorry for the long message haha, let me know if you have any suggestions.

      You're always welcome, nikkipotze3136..!! :) Could you share the blend file or the individual countries map, please? Let me check if I'm getting the same error on my end.
