I really appreciate the good words! I have part two coming soon and then glamour shots! I’ve had some request to show all the hardware…so I may make a separate video for that. Much thanks.
That's one badass table! I show your work to my high school woodshop students all the time. It's the passion they see in your work and mine that keeps them coming back for more. Keep it up!
Loving this build - excellent work! I use an old electric blanket to keep temp >70F for glue cure. Just throw it over the vacuum bag overnight and it works great. Steve
Absolutely brilliant Ramon! I cannot wait for the next episode of this epic table. I hope to see your lovely lady in the big reveal giving her thoughts on the table.
You must have paid attention in math class. This project has incredible workmanship and precision. I wouldn't even know how to start something like this. Impressive.
This is a masterpiece of a table, Ramon. I love seeing how you go about all of the complicated steps that are involved in the design and the build. I want to watch this video again since there were so many great tips and tricks that I know I will learn even more on the second pass. I look forward to part 2. Thanks for taking the time to make the video.
Thanks a lot, David ! It was challenging to not make the video too convoluted with all the processes. Much wasn’t shown. There were many situations where I had to step away and return later with a fresh mind. 😆 Now that I’m done, it all seems simple and I love how it stretched my skills and helped me create new woodworking and engineering ideas!
@@ramonartful I can appreciate how you would have needed to step back to think about the best solution for many of the aspects of this incredible table. It's typically the case that good engineering solutions seem simple once you figure them out 😀
Amazing! As always. I tell ya what, you are the most underrated “expert”out there. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. 💪🏾 keep up the great work.
Really great design as usual! Great tip with the halogen lights. I'll be trying that this winter for sure. I've also never seen purpleheart turn brown. I have lots of scraps sitting unfinished in my workshop, and they are all still purple years later.
I've been really looking forward to this one, after all the snippets on Instagram, and I'm not disappointed! It's fantastic and really interesting to see how work it all out and the processes you go through. Instead of the blue tape that crinkles up on the curves you might want to try fine line tape instead, very handy. Great work Ramon!
Wow! This ain’t 8th grade woodshop! There is artistry here to go with the craftsmanship that is really admirable. Terrific.

You're a wizard, Ramon. Extraordinary work.
Thank you! Means a lot 🙏🏼

Dang man…I certainly appreciate that! Passion, patience and persistence!
Dude you are the Leonardo da vincci of wood your patience is off the charts there is no woman ever that her man made her a table like that
Ha! Awesome comment. I’m off to show my lovely lady. Thank you tons!
Loving this build - excellent work! I use an old electric blanket to keep temp >70F for glue cure. Just throw it over the vacuum bag overnight and it works great. Steve
Hey Steve. I tried that with a brand new blanket and it wasn’t keeping temp. Had to get creative and build a hut! 😬Much thanks.
Absolutely brilliant Ramon! I cannot wait for the next episode of this epic table. I hope to see your lovely lady in the big reveal giving her thoughts on the table.
Thank you! I showed her your comment…she just smiled and said “look at it, I love everything about it!
Man that is one complicated build, looking forward to part 2. Love the idea of leaving the waste to wedge in the edging for the glue up
Thanks Darren. I learned sooo much on this build !

Thank you tons. It was daunting, I’ll admit. But with no real time frame, I tackled one challenge after another.

Beyond words Ramon. Thanks for sharing the build. Amazing table...one of a kind for sure! You and your work is inspiring...
Thank you tons. Means a lot
Great job, Ramon! Laminations and veneering are somewhat unique in the woodworking world, but you provide great information!
Great to hear your feedback! Much thanks.
Finally the build I’ve been wanting to see last few months🎉 your woodworking really inspires me to step my game up!
Sure was a crazy fun but extremely challenging build. Thanks a ton for the good words, that inspires me to make more videos!
So many really nice features to your table. Thanks for the video. Cheers, David

It’s amazing how much heat halogen lights produce !

Great work Ramon!
Hey brother, thanks a ton for the feedback and good words. Yes, I have some fine line tape but I’m too stingy to use it for this rough application! 😆
@@ramonartful OK, I get than man, I can be a tight with stuff myself.
Maybe I was just being lazy...the good tape is in another building! 😁@@waterboy8999
@@ramonartful I also appreciate the time you take to film and edit all these videos, and you're very good at it.
That is so sweet
Thanks !
Wow! ❤
Thank you! Finished shots soon!
For purple heart, what type of top coat finish do you mean or use to protect it from browning - varnish, poly, lacquer? Thanks
I’ve always used conversion varnish or precat lacquer, both have UV protectant. In my next video, I’ll show the exact product I used. Much thanks.
