Great test flight! As a real-world pilot, I've always admired these kit-built RVs and this looks like a terrific way to try one in the Sim world. Really enjoy your channel. Always learn something and get a smile. I like your posivite attitude.
Been flying this all weekend and love it, especially the analog taildragger 2 blades with PMS GTN 750 Mod. The ultimate home built airplane for cross country speeds but can still land and takeoff from grass fields.
This looks good and is getting great reviews! However, with so many aircraft available in the sim now, it’s difficult to fly the ones I have. What I really want is a full fidelity modern bush plane with failures, maintenance, wear and tear, flight model, etc. Many great bush planes, but none in the A2A realm yet. It would be great to know your top ten. Maybe a great video to cap off MSFS 2020!
I got this after reading your review. I love the bubble canopy, and i love being able to pull the hood all the way back. No visible props from inside cockpit though. Problems with buttons above sat nav. This is on xbox x.
Another GREAT review of an AMAZING SWS product. Picked it up the second it released. There are some small bugs, which I and others reported to SWS. They know and released a statement this morning and it should be out very soon. ❤
Excellent review. Super Test und Dankeschön. Thanks for mentioning the flood. A few colleagues of mine were involved in that drama. It was a real disaster, and even today, not everything is ready again.
People are still rebuilding their lives, a real mess and the government hasn't really helped much. Still the train is not running for most of the valley.
Excellent video as always, thank you. I recently had a (passenger ) ride in an RV7 which was magic, nice birds. Which tracker product do you use. Much appreciation from New Zealand for your work.
@@AvAngel I have all 3 of the SWS Van’s aircraft now, the new RV8 has spinning prop animation only in the external view. Both their RV10 and RV14 have spinning prop animations not only in external view .. but also when looking forward out the windscreen in the cockpit view, the RV8 does not, you only see the prop when the engine is off, once you start the engine the prop and any hint of it spinning does not exist, this degrades the immersion .. and I know I’m not the only one who feels this way. They built in a marvelous prop animation again in both their RV10 and RV14 .. why they would leave it out of the RV8 is beyond me. It’s obvious in every SWS RV8 review online the prop animation is missing. I hope they fix this.
Looks like the three-bladed prop has more szprodj. I don't really know what szprodj means, but that doesn't really matter as long as you say it with conviction... lol
Why is there no pitch trim indicator? It's a critical item for before take-off to know your pitch trim is set within the safe range. It appears to be the case in ALL of these SWS Van's RV planes. Makes no sense.
There is on the glass cockpit versions. However, ensuring your trim is neutral before takeoff is a preflight check on most types anyway... especially these. Generally you're departing with neutral trim in these aircraft.
I’m a serious man….somewhat…..and you make me scream and giggle like a little girl. 😂 shouldn’t take too long to get the tree branches out of the gear.

Still don’t know a lot about planes but your videos sure as hell make them interesting!

I am impressed by this Vans and the Glass is a little better to read big improvment
It needs prop animations from cockpit view, their other 2 Vans aircraft have em. Hope they fix this.
It has?

NRW is for Nordrhein-Westfalen, not Nordrheinwald :).
Es tut mir leid!

True but this airport is special to me
