Windshield IPS is fluid, not heat. It's disallowed for landing because it obstructs the view. You can set bleed on 2 minutes after battery on, not engine start. There's a bit more to the W&B init. The book climb schedule is roughly 185 KTAS constant expressed as a bunch of KIAS for different alts/temps. 165 is fine and a decent blend with Vx but it's worth manual FLC when 165 is above the book schedule at altitude. I like to TOGA then HDG and FLC FMS so at 500' just AP on, AT being on before brakes release. TO thrust more than 120sec per 70 something minutes is in excess of maint assumed wear. It's highly automated. With clever use of the VNAV policies and speed restrictions the auto throttle can do a lot of managing approach speed. The status for VREF calc and to and landing calcs is pretty cool too. I don't have transponder on when taxi but that may beout of date, clutters up their scopes. The book only has three VNAV FPAs, steepest at -4.7° but it'll drop much steeper at idle 245kt (250 overspeeds too easy, VNAV policy option). Not sure if that's for cabin pressurization reasons.
Jeff I swear you're dancing around everywhere I go. I live in South Bend, IN, you had an option to do a mission to go there on your live stream the other night, and the other night you went to Charlevoix, MI. 40:00 I had this happen on a Cargo Light Transport mission today. I've held off on my Instrument rating while I build funds in the company. I can't believe they don't let you actually select the livery/color when you "repaint" it for 19k, instead of it just doing the same exact thing that washing it does.
Ah I figured it out, you gotta get your passenger rating in career mode to start getting transport missions. Man I really wish they implemented this in 2020, my internet is not strong enough to essentially stream in the 2020 content into the 2024 lite client!
I’m scared to proceed. Earned 2 million credits doing vip vision jet stuff, and out of curiosity I tried to buy a Cessna longitude. Can we go into debt buying aircraft then work it off? 🤣 I bought one but backed out when it asked what airport I wanted it delivered to.
Anyone know why only one type of mission displays in career mode? I’ve completed 7 certifications and am a level 24 but only ferry missions populate in career mode.
what do you mean by certifications completed though? do you mean the exams? If so, you still have to accomplish specific goals and reach specific levels before seeing the mission types..... simply doing the exam will not unlock the missions. As an example, I can do light and medium cargo missions, but I still need to like 10 of them with A ratings before I can do heavy cargo runs, even though I've done all the exams already.
alternatively.... you might need to do the gold icon missions first before they are unlocked across the map. I won't see medevac missions until I do the very first gold one that pops up.... look around the world for them.
@@SA80TAGE I didn’t realize (and if there is another way I haven’t seen it) that only one type of job can be done by one type of company. I did some testing and realized it was me all along. Thank you for the suggestion and replies!
It's correct behavior. If you use wing/stab for any amount of time the airplane is assumed to be ice contaminated. VREF jumps to the 50% flap value plus a few knots. Often 100-105kts. Practically unless if icing is severe and you never ran IPS the plane never acts ice contaminated for me.

They are using AI lol
Nice job, too bad I can’t do it, I can’t even get the cursor to work. I’ve reinstalled, etc.
How did you get an all white vision jet in career?? I have the standard red and white one. Also when I got my first cessna 172 it was like white, yellow, and purple. Looked so dumb. I can't believe they don't let you actually select the livery/color when you "repaint" it for 19k, instead of it just doing the same exact thing that washing it does.
It was before they patched it
Great video. Too bad the sim is broken. This will take some learning to get proficiency
where was your checklist
????
Wait how do you get passengers?!?!?
Ah I figured it out, you gotta get your passenger rating in career mode to start getting transport missions. Man I really wish they implemented this in 2020, my internet is not strong enough to essentially stream in the 2020 content into the 2024 lite client!
I’m scared to proceed. Earned 2 million credits doing vip vision jet stuff, and out of curiosity I tried to buy a Cessna longitude. Can we go into debt buying aircraft then work it off? 🤣
I bought one but backed out when it asked what airport I wanted it delivered to.
You cant go into debt. Dont buy a plane if you have the exact amount of money, save up a bit first XD
I've definitely missed something. When i put my Auto Pilot on is doesnt follow the flight plan. What do i need to do? Thanks
You need to have it in NAV mode
@@jfavignano Ah, I got it now, Thank you so much
My game keeps glitching, so I've had to do skips. Xbox series s. Enjoying the career but annoying with the bugs.
not much better on PC, lost so much rep to nonsense bugs.
Yo

That windshield glare of the instrument panel is quite aggressive. It shouldn't be picking it up at that angle.
Where is the parking brake?
My flaps keep getting iced up. Anyone know how to prevent this?
It's a bug. Full flaps error as iced.
@@Kickstandsup83 yeah I noticed this last night while testing
It's correct behavior. If you use wing/stab for any amount of time the airplane is assumed to be ice contaminated. VREF jumps to the 50% flap value plus a few knots. Often 100-105kts. Practically unless if icing is severe and you never ran IPS the plane never acts ice contaminated for me.
How do you make so much more money then me? I own a Private airline company and if I did any type of skipping Id only get 30-50k with getting an A-S Badge. And for the Shipping Company only one singular 1hr 30min flight has gotten me barely 100k
Typical VIP 1.5 hour flights net me about 200k credits in the Vision Jet (which cost 710k cr new)
@ yeah Ive seen so many youtubers get 200k plus but I’ll be lucky if i get that
ifr rating will get you bad weather bonus and vip makes the most money so far with the vision jet. I don't skip.
you realise you get a lot less if you skip anything right?
stick a slightly bigger fan on this thing and it'll just friggin GO, I tell you what. That's what the Vision Jet needs!
SIJ-MI
Where was the parking brake????/???/
right under the dash in front of you, hard to see it so I just use the keybind
Is it just me, or is the Vision just stupid cheap in Career Mode? I feel like it should cost more than the 208b... yet we get it for just 700k in game.
Yep get it while you can!
My games so bugged. The game doesn't even auto populate half the things you have 😭
