    Hands down the greatest Channel on RUclips. I watch them all and can honestly say most of the fishermen on RUclips don't know what they're talking about. Everything I thought I knew B-Lat has clarified and gotten into better detail on. The guy knows his stuff PERIOD.

    I bought these on tackle wharehouse. Not knowing what anything about them. I just wanted a fatter type of worm and taper at the tail end. Well guess what i havent used a senko since. I texas rig it with a very small bullet weight and it just hammers the bass. Im still on my first worm after i dont know how many fish. Great product for the value

    Do you think this will work well in ponds? At my college campus there is a pond with some nice largemouth in there. I have even put a few in there about 3 or 4 pounds. One problem I have is the grass in some areas if I try to throw a shakey head.

    A lot the docks that I target on Lake Norman have 5 or more spots on them this time of the year and I have noticed if one bites they all follow it out and sorta see everything go down. I never can catch more than say two out of the school is that normal for you too?
    I can come back later though and pick of another but on Norman there's always a risk of another boat there. B.Lat do you have any tricks to catch multiple spots on one dock in clear water? Thanks

    Floracarbon is the absolute worst, no abrasion resistance at all .. here in Florida saltwater near structure ee always use mono liter (30lb if there are big snook around 20lb if not)

    B-Lat, I really like the teaching content you're putting out. I'm up on Norman, and your knowledge of spotted bass fishing is super informative for me. Side note, I think Z-Man needs to develop a Neko weight for their plastics. I keep a few bags of Fattyz in my boat, but I've been switching to other brands when I'm using Neko, since I was not sure how to weight them. I will try your tip, though. Keep the great content coming!

    B why don't you use the FG knot for your braid to flouro connection it's much stronger and smaller it goes through the guides much easier?

    • @BrianLatimerFishing
      @BrianLatimerFishing  6 лет назад +5

      Big Rig Bass Fishing Alberto is what I use. Fg is not a practical knot for a tournament fisherman

    • @timkelly633
      @timkelly633 6 лет назад

      You almost never need to re-tie an FG knot as it doesn't break. You also get fairly quick at tying it after some practise. Really, an Alberto is a bad knot as demonstrated in your video.

    • @BigRigOutdoors
      @BigRigOutdoors 6 лет назад

      Is it because it's faster to tie a Alberto knot rather than a FG knot?
      Awesome video by the way 👍👍

    • @BrianLatimerFishing
      @BrianLatimerFishing  6 лет назад +3

      Big Rig Bass Fishing it’s not a practical knot for tying in the field. There’s no way you can do it efficiently with gloves or in the heat of the moment. It’s a very finicky knot. One mistake and its no good. Knot strength is irrelevant the truth is you hang up and break off during a day of fishing. After fishing all day they all break off especially with light line. If a FG works for you go for it!!!! I use what I like and I find is best for me and my clients.
