    Jim, I like your video. Some of the things I especially liked are the lay out lines, the staining of the wood to make it easier to see what your doing in each step and the way you broke the video into different steps. Thanks!

    Jim - Thanks so much for posting this video Have wanted to start carving these for a local RMH. Most videos that I have seen do a lot of the work with sanders. Your approach is so much more appealing as I’d rather enjoy the knife work, which is comforting in it’s own way. I most appreciate seeing how you lay out the lines before starting the carving to keep everything symmetrical. Thanks again!

    Sometime in the south are referred as “Worry Birds”; have ‘made .,hundreds out of all kinds of wood mostly exotic. My favorite is carved out of the “banksia pods” that comes from Australia.
