Thank you - appreciate the videos. With respect to the verses that you brought up re: limited atonement, I appreciate the track you took with those. The way I've always explained it is that Calvinists will take passages of Scripture that are meant to be INCLUSIVE, and instead interpret them to be EXCLUSIVE. Furthermore, there are far more verses of Scripture that undeniably and unequivocally state that Jesus died for all, that to ignore those in order to remain true to a philosophical approach is troublesome.

The problem with Calvinsim is that it blatantly disagrees with scripture over and over. Other than that, its a nice tidy system. But scripture has superiority over any medieval theologians' thoughts.

The calvinist says that man is so depraved that he is unable to seek God and then their doctrine blames God for causing sin...
    John Calvin does....
“thieves and murderers, and other evildoers, are instruments of divine providence, being employed by the Lord himself to execute judgments which he has resolved to inflict.” (John Calvin, Institutes of Christian Religion, Book 1, Chapter 17, Paragraph 5)
“The devil, and the whole train of the ungodly, are in all directions, held in by the hand of God as with a bridle, so that they can neither conceive any mischief, nor plan what they have conceived, nor how muchsoever they may have planned, move a single finger to perpetrate, unless in so far as he permits, nay unless in so far as he commands, that they are not only bound by his fetters but are even forced to do him service” (John Calvin, Institutes of Christian Religion, Book 1, Chapter 17, Paragraph 11)
    John Piper does.....
"God . . . brings about all things in accordance with his will. In other words, it isn’t just that God manages to turn the evil aspects of our world to good for those who love him; it is rather that he himself brings about these evil aspects for his glory (see Ex. @-16; John 9:3) and his people’s good (see Heb. 12:3-11; James 1:2-4). This includes-as incredible and as unacceptable as it may currently seem-God’s having even brought about the Nazis’ brutality at Birkenau and Auschwitz as well as the terrible killings of Dennis Rader and even the sexual abuse of a young child . . .
EVERY CALVINIST I HAVE TALKED TO DOES......
Jews thought salvation was only for them as the elect nation of God and could be achieved through works of the law. Calvinists think salvation is only for them as the Augustinian-elect of God. Ironically they both have the same elitist objections and can’t stand the fact that salvation is freely and genuinely offered to all through faith. Calvinists can even see the similarity between themselves and the Jews who boasted of their election. The irony is literally staggering. Calvinists are the 21st century Pharisees. Calvinism: Satan's way of unloading his responsibility for what he has done in this world and placing it on God.."God predetermined everything and caused everything including evil" If God predetermined everything..that means everything!! And so Calvinism places the blame of anything evil on God.. That is blasphemy..They follow a false god that is responsible for evil. I mean really?!? God gets glory by purposefully creating creatures that are intended to burn and suffer in unfathomably painstaking eternal torment as a way for Him to have glory?

@R T Said as a Non Calvinist, Calvinist then. You don't understand that "Sovereign grace" is an invented term not in the Bible and every Calvinist or "Reformed" person hides in the shadow of this lie. You say "All of Grace, All of Christ" as if that is your stand! Its double speak as you know in the Heresy of the Reformed, you have to first win the lottery salvation of election. How do you know you are one of the Elect?

For about 30 yrs I believed Jesus was the Son of God. Etc.
It was just 2021 that I fully understood it was by his grace that I am saved through faith and not of myself.
I kept trying so hard to be good and sinless that being frustrated when I sinned I couldn't bare looking at the bible for a long time in beating myself up.
When I finally understood that it is my believing in him that is counted unto me for righteousness. Things changed.
Now I'm just so thankful that I no longer have habitual sin in my life. Yes I'm not perfect but I do believe I overcame by his strength I have been set free.
All I want to watch on TV or RUclips are Christian type programs. I can't bring myself to listen to the music I once loved.
I read and memorize scripture in order to keep the songs out of my head that try to haunt me. Just protecting my mind.
I also want to know the word of God so that if I'm in a position to defend or convert someone to Christianity that I'll be better equipped.
Honestly I enjoy being in the word and enjoy reading it.
I used to not read much of anything and I listened to Heavy Metal like Dio and Judas Priest.
I found a quiet place and begged God to forgive me and finally I understood that he has.
      I hope that helps.

It’s not about the expanse but about the effect of the atonement. Either you eventually end up in limited atonement or you end up in universalism. Are all people saved? No. Wide is the way that leads to destruction and narrow is the way that leads to life. So limited atonement is not about the expanse but about the effect. Only those that make it to heaven receive the effect of the atonement.

Your exegesis of John 10 is woefully inept. "Because it doesn't say "only" the sheep"!? You're disregarding the immediate context of Jesus' point of being the exclusive "door" of the "sheep".
Jhn 10:7 - Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.
With your logic, Jesus is also the door of those who are not sheep, right? Further, He's not the "only" door because He doesn't say "only" for door or for sheep. However, if you understand English, you'll know "only" is not needed, as He is making exclusionary statements all throughout John 10.
Further, notice the context of vs 14, you know, the previous verse to vs 15; Jhn 10:14 - “I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known 👉by My own👈.
Are we to understand He is also, known by those who are NOT His own? C'mon, of course not. And what is this "My own" anyway? Wouldn't this necessarily mean there are those who are NOT His own? Certainly does! Notice John 8, "of your father, the devil".
Finally, this is the nail in your coffin.
Jhn 10:26 - “But you do not believe, because 👉you are not of My sheep👈, as I said to you.
One group of people Jesus has demarcated as not receiving eternal life, because they CANNOT hear and believe contrasted against the next group demarcated than CAN hear and believe because of the necessary precondition needed.
Jhn 10:27 - “My sheep hear My voice, and 👉I know them👈, and they follow Me.
Please note the "know" them and CF to Mat 7:23. "I never knew you", and Rom 8:29 "those He foreknew". Intimacy is what's in view in all these passages, not merely a knowledge of a person, but a relationship with that person, that "sheep". Only sheep get eternal life, goats get the wrath if God.
Jhn 10:28 - “And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.
A shepherd is the shepherd exclusively of sheep and Jesus is THE good shepherd. It's exclusive. The shepherd does NOT lay down His life for a group of penguins that might be in trouble or a herd of alligators, He's committed to His sheep and His sheep are committed to their shepherd.

I observe that too many of them use their Calvinism as an excuse for not fulfilling the great commission. After all. If the elect are going to be saved anyway and the non elect aren’t, why bother? The Reformation was God's Work. In a total Dark time and reign of the Pope church, lay-people were forbidding to read the Bible, William Tyndale was burned at the stake by the Catholic Inquisition for Translating the Bible in English. He could have saved his life by denouncing his faith, But he went without fear to be burned alive, singing the praises of God. Men being in control of Heaven is part of the Catholic church doctrine. God moved the heart of a monk to read Romans 1:17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.” and got Saved by GRACE. Martin Luther nailed on the day before all saints day. 95 teases to the door of Slot Kirchen (Castle Church) in Wittenberg. They were written in Latin. But 1000th of priest converted and started to preach (which was not allowed ) the Bible and not Catholic prayer books and idle liturgy. Millions came to faith in the Lord. The 95 teases from martin Luther was a Greater Miracle than David Killing Goliath with a single stone. It killed the giant of Rome the doctrine of the Devil. Martin Luther and Calvin absolutely agreed in everything. The only difference they had is that Luther believed the substantiation of the bread in the Lords Supper. It is a terrible thing to bash what God did to set us free from the heresy of the pope like praying to the saints. Pretty much no-one knew the truth anymore. JONATHAN EDWARDS ON THE SOVEREIGNTY OF GOD (CALVINISM)
"The Sovereignty of God is the stumbling block on which thousands fall and perish; and if we go contending with God about His sovereignty it will be our eternal ruin. It is absolutely necessary that we should submit to God as an absolute sovereign, and the sovereign of our souls; as one who may have mercy on whom He will have mercy and harden whom He will" (Jonathan Edwards).
The quote above, by Jonathan Edwards, is excerpted from Arminianism: Another Gospel -
    Jonathan Edwards
Most historians consider Jonathan Edwards, a Northampton Anglican minister, one of the chief fathers of the Great Awakening.
Edwards’ message centred around the ideas that humans were sinners, God was an angry judge and individuals needed to ask for forgiveness. He also preached justification by faith alone.
In 1741, Edwards gave an emotional sermon, entitled “Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God.” No-one in the church had dry eyes. It was not the gifted preacher because Edwards read most of the sermon. It was a strong conviction of the Holy Spirit. News of the message spread quickly and millions came in true faith. to Christ.

I cannot think of any doctriene that hardens hearts of unsaved people more than this doctrine that teaches God arbitrarily predestines people for eternal destruction before they have done either good or bad.Throughout the Bible God addresses people as though they have the ability to respond to him and he "blesses" them or "curses" them according to their response. The entire Bible makes no sense if God has prevented some people from responding yet is going to destroy them for not doing so. Why not just create heaven with billions of people and angels living in bliss, and hell with billions of people and angels tormented there forever? Why this dishonest CHARADE, pretending that people are responsible for responding to God as though they have the capacity to do that, and to make moral decisions which seem to be important to God in his ultimate plans for the universe?
Calivin's doctrine makes every verse that invites "whosoever believeth" to be saved a lie.

Amen Brother. First John 2:2 And He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but for the sins of the whole world. But if you tell a Calvinist that, they say you believe in universalism then. No we do not. John 3:18. Believers and unbelievers. First Timothy 2:4. God is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come unto the knowledge of the truth.
They twist Ephesians 2:8-9. For By grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, (they say that it is faith that is not of ourselves,) not grace, IT IS THE GIFT OF GOD, NOT OF WORKS, LEST ANY MAN SHOULD BOAST.
I use Romans 6:23 when talking to a known Calvinist. For the penalty for sin is death, but the GIFT of God is ETERNAL LIFE, through Jesus Christ our Lord. No one can earn it. The gift is eternal life, not faith. God has given us a free will to believe on Him alone for salvation. Man can do nothing to save himself. Romans 11:6.
We do not get the Holy Spirit until after we believe the gospel. First Corinthians 15:1-4. Ephesians 1:13-14. In whom ye also trusted, after ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, in whom also AFTER ye believed, ye were sealed by that Holy Spirit of promise. Ephesians 4:30. And grieve not the Holy Spirit in whom ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. John 10:28-29. Double eternal security.
Romans 3:26-28 They say we have nothing to boast in because God gives us the faith to believe. We have nothing to boast in because Jesus paid it all and we paid 0. Faith is not a work, Romans 4:5 and Faith is not a gift. Faith apart from works or action because we can do nothing to save our selves.
I could go on for hours, but I will leave it there. Those who are trusting in that they were chosen may never believe the gospel and be saved. Beware of Satans devices. He is a liar from the beginning.
Standing on the promises of God. First John 5:13. John 6:47, John 6:40. John 12:32. John 5:24. John 3:16. Jesus said it, we believe it, and that settles it. John 3:18 Believers can no longer be condemned, but unbelievers are condemned already because they have not believed on the name of the Son of God.
Acts 16:31 The simplicity of the gospel.
