I like Kirk's Exodus; I would pay to see an entire set. Lots of bands do alumni guest star stuff, and if everyone practices, they can yield something special..
That was special. I've never been a big fan of Kirk's playing, but it was so cool to see him and Gary rocking out together and getting into it. Kirk was there at the beginning of it all, and you can't take that away from him.

So awesome seein Gary and Kirk together on stage reminiscing riight in front of the fans.
So awesome to see Kirk playing an Exodus song live, something hardly any of us has seen unless you have been a fan since the beginning.
It was cool seeing gary play die by his hand for a bit there. The riff in that song is super underrated and its a shame they didnt ever use it (im not talking about the creeping death riff thats in the same song)

Now that they announced that all members of metallica were writing instead of just james and lars for the next album. Hopefully we will get some thrash as fuck shit from Kirk like the 80s again
They made things right again with DM and HTSD. As much as we hate them for selling out, they wouldn't have kept thrash relevant if they didn't sell out. For one thing, Megadeth and Slayer keeping their sounds wouldn't be so significant without Metallica jumping ship

Most teens won't be listening to bands like Exodus, by the time their 30...Unless they grew up in these days, like I did. Thats a fact !! For most teens, it's just a fad/phase. And by the time they become full grown adults, they'll be to busy between working, family, wife's, and girlfriends on the side too. So there begs the question that I've witnessed, seen, heard, been there done that, all too many times 10-20 years from now...Friend Asks: "Hey remember that band Exodus ??"

Lol for some, I guess. As an adult, I get caught up in adult life, but I've got metal on the brain all the time. Metal was such a big part of my life that I pushed responsibility off way more than I should have in my 20s and I'm learning life things a lot later than I should have. Metal was like an addiction to me and I suffered the consequences. Now I find balance.

I guess I'm one of the lucky ones that ran into this band. Listening to megadeth, metallica, slipkot, Lamb of God, and a bit of Death Angel for quite a long time and was kinda naive of change for a bit. Well, i wanted to see if there were much faster types of thrash metals/ faster metal and lo and behold, i found out about Exodus, Slayer, Overkill, Kreator, Flotsam and Jetsam, and many others thrash bands. However, Exodus quickly became my # 1 band to this date.
