- While I did this to my Mopar 8 3/4 rear axle, this can apply to a lot of other makes and models. If you don't want to do this and having a professional do it at lease you understand what they are most likely doing.

What is the procedure for a diff with no crush sleeve? I have a 57 Plymouth.
Should not be any different. Mark it and do same sequence. In a way I’d rather have a solid spacer vs crush sleeve. For sure I’d know when it hits bottom.
