Purchased and installed a Scytek alarm w/central locking (2-5 wire actuators and 2 -2 wire actuators). Worked great for 3 years then my driver side actuator went out. Could not find the exact brand/model but I found a nearly identical uxcell actuator. Did not have to drill new holes , just removed the bad one and put the new one in it’s exact place. Problem is when I plugged it in (5 wire color code exact: green to green, black to black etc..) the driver door is doing exactly opposite what the other three doors are doing. When it locks all three doors unlock and vice versa? Any advise? Please help!
I'm installing these on a 2 door pickup with manual door locks. Can I install a master on each door? That way the passenger can control the driver door too.
I'm looking to add power door locks with an alarm/find horn to an 08 Rav4 that has a basic key entry (base model). It has a factory key system that opens all doors on the second turn of the key in the drivers door. What am I going to need to for a complete install including 4 doors plus tailgate ? I don't think there is a factory alarm since there are no fobs, also can the exciting actuators be wired into the system. Question, I purchased this vehicle used, how would I find out if there was a fob associated with it ?
Hello Lessco. On your central module from left to right on socket i see brown-white-brown-white.I understand that 2 wires( 1 brown and 1 white) are ground trigerred. But the other 2 wires(brown and white) where are connected? To white and brown master`s actuator?cand you explain also what each 5 wires actuator are use for?
Great video. I made this one. Though, I noticed that the master door actuator doesn’t close or open same time with the rest of the actuator. In fact it doesn’t move at all when I use the remote, however when I open it and close it manually it works and the rest of the slave actuators also follow. Do you have any idea why?
I have a five wire master with blue, green, white, brown and black wires. When I hook up just the blue and green it functions with fob. Where do the white, black and brown wires go? I would like it to command the slave actuators when triggered.
Do you know lock actuators that are higher power than the standard stuff (By power i meant push force, not voltage)? 2 wires specifically but i'll take 5 wires as long as i can use it with a 2 wire setup.
I have a 2003 basic Xrerra with a Viper 1000 and only have actuator in the front doors. Can you tell me how to install actuators in the rear doors and trunk? Thank you.
Hi, i have a Nissan Almera N15, it already has central locking but not remote central locking, i found the mass unlock and mass lock pins, so in reality all i would need to do is soldering white to lock, brown to unlock, red to constant 12v power, and black to ground?
Hi, thanks for the reply, but when manual switch used, all motors work perfectly, no wurring sound of sluggish moved of the lock/unlock pins..Its only when you use key (& remote) to unlock the 2nd turn sometimes does not unlock the other doors, and the crazy behavior of auto locking all doors when engine starts.Could be bad contacts at key switch, or bad relay contacts...or do you still think the driver motor is the culprit....thanks

Nice vid, I currently have a simuliar aftermarket kit on a 3dr car. However it randomly locked me in. Im trying to find a way to unlock it as the keyfob or solanoids have stopped working, I didnt install this system but im stuck on how to open my car doors n fix or replace the solanoids. Any ideas? Would I be able to shock the system to unlock it? Thanks in advance
Do you have a video on adding a simple switch to a two door lock system that is used with an alarm. Unfortunately there is no switch on the car and I want to add a SPDT momentary switch so I can lock and unlock the doors manually. Of course I want it to work only when the key is in.
easist way is get a 2 way rocker switch like the ones well for 7.00 that throw ground when pressed up or down, connect that to the alarms -negative outputs
I have the same set up with a UK kit from Rightclick. Two masters and two slaves. Now I have set this up with a 12v battery outside of the car to test before I install it. However when I power this kit up the the actuators just constantly click and pulse. However if I remove the brown and white cables from the masters the kit works fine apart from the fact I cannot lock all the doors buy pushing down on one of the master switches. It does say in the manual to make sure that the white and brown wires are not connected to the ground at the same time but I am not sure how this can be achieved. Can you please help? Cheers
would it be possible to add a fifth actuator for a rear hatch? the rear hatch has a lock separate from the handle it works the same as the other doors it is not like a trunk lock.
Hi, great video very detailed. I installed a central locl kit in my car and when I connected it with my alarm system as negative triger, when K switch on the alarm the lock does nothing and when I switch off the ala the doors will lock. Any idea what I mighg have done wrong? Thanks. UPDATE: I now have reversed the two wires to connect to the alarm and the lock will only ulock as I deactivate the alarm, it will not lock when I activate the alarm.
Hi, How do you wire them? In my kit (not Omega) I have a white, brown, black that don't go anywhere..where should I connect them to? I assume the red with a fuse goes to the battery. Thanks
THANK you very much for such a good video. Can anybody tell me what you call that black box in the video, Is that a relay? I am facing a problem that my car central lock does not lock but it unlocks normaly.
Yes, that is the relay control module. You may want to check if your master door actuator travels fully up causing the slave motors not to unlock, or of course that relay could of died too..
ok I installed a kit in my car and the main 5 wire actuator is the driver side. When I actuate with remote they work perfect, but if I manually lock/unlock the driver side door the passenger door doesn't follow command like your video! Did I do something wrong?
Great video,I have a central door lock system I tried installing in my 2013 Jeep Wrangler. I installed it per directions. The problem I'm having is when I hit unlock on the key fob the actuators go unlock to lock. If I hit lock on the fob nothing happens. I have 1 5 wire and 2 2 wire. There is 2 extra brown and white wires that they say go to alarm. I do not have an alarm so do those wires not get connected? Thanks for the help
Hi body! I bought new actuators with one master but I connected to the OEM module, (civic 97) they work normally but master doesn't works, original lock has 4 lines, black for ground, two ones for the unlock/lock and one left, I thought this is for the signal of the master one but I don't know how to connect it to the white or ground lines... so it didn't work, maybe you can help me! Thanks!
Can you use a central locking actuator with just a battery and a switch? Do they work like power on: extended, power off: retracted? or do they require power each way?
To Lessco Electronics,I have a Ford Courier 2.6 ltr 2005 petrol.my central locking is not working properly.I have changed the battery in the remote and the light is flashing. It wont unlock from out side the car with the remote.however when you do get in the car and start the car you can operate the central locking with the remote.Any chance you can help me?Jason
I’m installing something similar in a classic vehicle. The problem I am having is that due to mounting location limitations for the actuator and the way my door latch works, once installed my remote button will operate opposite what it should. The lock button will cause the actuator to pull down on the latch locking mechanism, essentially the unlock position of the latch. If I press the unlock button on the remote it will push the actuator up and lock the latch. I want to reverse the operation of the actuator so that it does opposite of what it does now. I have tried reversing the green and blue wires but that does not work. Any help you could provide would be appreciated.
Just wanted to say thanks for the amazing videos, i have been out of the game for a while, used to do this for a living for some time, and now do little side jobs at home and all your videos have been great refreshers.. quick question , i will be working on a 07 toyota yaris that has no power locks or windows, and i am doing a remote start/alarm system on it, its a code alarm ca5663, would i need something like this to add power locks to all doors? i bought 4 separate actuators for the doors, can i still use those? also what would be the easiest way to wire them to the alarm if i do use the separate ones? sorry for some reason i have this feeling i need diodes or something for this method.
Thanks. I will look online so I can refresh my memory as to how to wire up the relays. You don't have a video or website to reference that do you? Sorry I don't have access to this information like I used to before at my old job. I'll try and look at the 12volt.com.
I have a 1972 Pontiac Grand Prix. The car does have power door locks and windows. Is there a kit that I can use to lock/unlock the car and possibly even open/close the windows like on newer cars? I am also planning on ditching the carburetor somewhere down the road and would like to add remote starting (if possible) after I install a fuel injection system. If yes.....where can I buy the necessary components?
I have the Megbadyne ALA-DL1 Programmable Relay Pack w/ 5 door locking actuators, non of the actuators are the "master" actuator so I can't lock the car from inside once I unlock it with my aftermarket alarm system unless I arm the system from inside the car (kinda silly) my question is do you know how I can wire in a relay switch to lock the doors from inside the car?
I need help I can't get my prestige asp997e alarm to unlock and lock door s on my 1997 suburban with rear barn doors so for now I just hooked my aviral 3100 to the door lock wires to unlock and lock doors separate remote please help no video on 1997suburban with I think is 5 wire positive or negative door locks
what happen if u invert the lines of the master lock? i mean if u invert cables of the master lock if u push the unlock on the remote only the master locks and the others actuator unlock? hope u can understand what i mean, sorry for my english 😄
Is there any modules or relays that will allow a constant 12volt out and open and close from a 1 second 12 volt pulse signal from door lock wire? My civic has a pulse lock signal, 0 on meter then flashes 11volt real quick the back to 0. I'm wanting to add a led scanner to come on with my factory alarm, lock and shut off when unlocked, since I don't have a constant 12volt signal from switch or a negative switch it won't allow the relay to stay open to send power to light, is there a pulse relay that will open and close with just recieving a pulse
Greetings, just like to ask...my main actuator is not working ,when I press lock from the remote all actuators locks except the main one, when I press unlock nothing happens, what's wrong with it? Thanks :)
I have a central lock in my Opel/Vauxhall Corsa C 2003 but it doesn´t have a remote. Could I just install a remote kit (without actuators) or do I still need an actuator? Some say that the pre-installed central lock won´t work with the kits.
Hi, great video. I'm installing an identical kit. Do you wire the main 12V power wire (the one with the fuse) and ground wire directly to the battery? Or can you tap into another constant power supply from under the dash?
Hey man quick question how do the brain systems for power locks that have voltage output for window control connect I have looked everywhere. some brain systems have outputs that roll down/up windows with the remote Ps thanks your videos have helped me a lot
I need a diagram easy to understand, I'm trying to install 2 door actuators on my ranger but besides the red, black and the blinking lights wires I haven't a clue about the rest. My actuators are both two wire only. Solenoids explained please!..."NO-NC-COM"? AAAHHH!!!
@@Lesscoelectronics -- Which would mean that in a typical scenario of you taking a trip to go to work or run an errand, it would last over 68 years (if you don't lock your car while driving). This is assuming a scenario where you go out to your car, press the unlock button (#1), drive to your destination, press the lock button (#2), spend time at work / go into the store, return to car and press unlock button (#3), drive home, get out of vehicle, press lock button (#4). If you lock your vehicle while you are driving, then the number of activations of the lock probably doubles... -- Go out to car, press unlock button (#1) to get into car. -- Start driving, press lock button (#2) -- Arrive at destination, press unlock button (#3) to get out of car -- Lock car (#4) after getting out of car while you are at work / in store -- Come back to car, unlock it (#5) to get into car -- Start driving, press lock button (#6) -- Arrive back home, press unlock button (#7) to get out of vehicle -- Press lock button (#8) so that car is secure at your home That brings it down to 34 years... Maybe half that again to take into account those trips where you stop to get gas or run multiple errands on a single trip. Just kind of reinforces how a simple system can be pretty reliable. I've never had a car's power door lock system quit working . The same cannot be said for the power windows or powered radio antenna.
can you help me hook up a viper remote stater with door locks in a 2006 Chevy silverado ? I need to know what wires on the silverado to hook up the wires to. it is a viper 5101
Where does the remote send signal to, to make the relay work? Does the relay pick up the remote signal? Got an existing set up but want to up change to a new remote system as mine is so old and can't get them how do I connect the new one to the existing wires.
I have 1 slave motor on my drivers door aparently it gas worked without a master before some one cut the wires. So my question is can i install new door lock computer with just the 2 wire green and blue motor ? It has central locking so both doors lock when i lock it with keys
great video -- thanks. Question for you: could you adapt a keyless entry kit to control one simple circuit, such as the fuel pump? I am thinking of installing something like this as a theft deterrent on my motorcycle -- just use the remote to actuate the FI system. Would that work?? Thanks
I have a problem with my accent 2012 with the master actuator, the place where you hang it by the screws is broken, the same hole i mean, which is plastic but anyway is there a way to fix that or should i get a new one and how to restore its balance to be able to lock all the doors using the remote. thank you.
quick question; will this kit work with an aftermarket alarm system? i have an old toyota which i want to install power door locks alongside with an alarm system. thanks in advance.
Hi. My trunk will not unlock via central lock and keyfob unlock, but works on hold keyfob to unlock. dealership has replaced trunk door lock assembly but problem persists. took it back to them and they ruled out wiring/electrical problems and diagnosed as driver's side (master) door lock assembly is faulty and needs to be replaced. does that make sense? can a problem with driver's side master actuator be the cause of the trunk not being able to be unlocked? also, everytime i open the driver's door when the key is in ignition, it makes unlock/lock sound 3x. thanks for any input
Lessco Electronics Ive had this problem since nov 2014.. dealership misdiagnosed it in the 1st place, replaed parts that weren't needed to be replaced and still ended up having the problem. good thing it's still under warranty. have to wait again for parts availability, hopefully problem will be solved this time. thank you for your reply
Hi,I have got a fiat linea 2010 model. The car was involved in an accident,so it has been standing for more than 8 months. Now,it is moving but the problem is the central locking system is not working properly. It,s enither it locks one door or none
Question I have an 07 Chevy Aveo 5 every time I lock and unlock my car, the door actuators go crazy, locks and unlocks could a bad actuator cause this problem. Thanks
only the driver door opens when i press the unlock button on the remote or use the key to open the, however if i open all four doors plus the trunk and gas tank cover and then press the the lock button all 4 doors ,plus trunk will lock together but wont open, what should i do
With a central locking already in but needs to be open with the key from the driver's door. Can I put in just one actuator to make it unlock the driver's door only and then boom it should use the original and open the rest
Hi my vw t4 central locking stopped working.it was connected to an auto watch alarm by installer.the old alarm malfunctioned .new alarm just a year old.i checked wiring diagram on alarm and the fuse had blown on white wire that went to siren according to diagram autowatch 346rl.also I checked motor in drivers door.only 2 wires connected .i do not have master switch on door.think maybe control unit behind dash .the drivers motor worked ok direct to battery .the alarm still arms disarms and clicks ok inside alarm module an siren still bleeps even though fuse gone.replaced fuse an blew again .its 20year old van .have checked all fuses .think relay on electric windows central locking paired .any help appreciate it .thanks.stay safe
I have an issue with one of these. All was working but now the drivers side does not control the other doors. I also note only the lock works on drivers door using key fob and I notice resistance when using manual switch on unlock. I also hear a click from the box on lock but not unlock on drivers side. I have a 5 wire for both front doors and the passenger controls all doors fine including unlock and lock on drivers door. I do note the “pro” install has all 5 wires on both doors connected and it is going to an alarm, which I thought meant 3 of the wires were not used (instructions say they are for controlled switching without an alarm so I don’t know). I have researched this for hours tonight and you seem to be the only person who understands all the parts and how they function. So I am hoping you have some ideas for me that do not require getting under my dash and trying to follow this guys wiring. I appreciate your help and time. I have no idea how to see a response but I will come back here and look for a response. Thanks.
hi, hope you are still around. i have a question that i hope you can probably help me with. i installed and installgear power locking system in my wifes car and it is working in a strange way. when i hit lock on the fob the front doors lock but the 2 rear doors unlock and vise versa if i hit unlock the 2 front doors unlock and the 2 back doors lock. the system i have has 1 master and 3 slave motors. i cant figure out how to fix this issue. do you have any insight?
@@Lesscoelectronics when i first installed the system i did switch the wires, blue with green on the rear doors and nothing happened. in fact it fried my receiver unit. i ended up purchasing another kit and hoped maybe the original reciever was bad but with the new one installed, doing the same thing.
I am working on my rear door. The power lock isn't working. I get +/-10v across the two wire lead when I switch lock open and close. How do I check for a faulty actuator.
Hello i have an issue with power lock on my 1998 Astro van. The power lock is locking and unlocking on its own when the car is sitting and this drains the battery. And sometimes it doesn't react on the remote control. Any ideas what can it be? Thanks
+Dmitry Litvinov Ive seen that before, its the probably the factory vke (vehicle keyless entry module). unplug it and rewire it or get a new aftermarket keyless entry host system. the relays tend to chatter and lock up in those gms like that sometimes
hi hello i just install a prestage alarm and i cant seem to get the central locking to work with the red and green wires direct to the master actuator what am i do wrong
Hi, Door locks on my accord 2007 started acting up, normally press remote once , driver's door unlocks, twice rest unlock, press twice and hold windows go down. Now, remote- press once driver's door unlocks, press again nothing happens but there is a sound from the driver's door actuator..but using manual switch , all doors locks and unlock as normal. Also once inside, door closed and engine started all doors lock after a few clicking sounds, which does not happen normally. could a weak or going to be broke master ( drivers door ) actuator cause this problem.Thanks....
Hi, thanks for the great info here. I have a question. Is it possible to add a 5th actuator as a slave? so it would be 2 masters and 3 slaves. or is a second relay necessary for that type of setup? thanks
hi please can you help me I have got an ML270 I was driving in the highway one day an heard a load click when I stopped my car I discovered the central locking system will not respond to the remote I have changed the battery but that didn't help the remote has been tested its fine you can lock and unlock the car from inside but not with remote.
I'm currently having problems with my central lock system because my car won't lock even though you press it using the key or by pressing the master door lock on the driver seat. I noticed that the master door lock on the driver door is stuck because it's very hard to press it and even you press it then release pressure on it will go back to the unlock phase of the door..
i have a ram with power locks but no remote and they say it $400 to get them done …. i bot this kit and was wondering can i not use the remotes and hook up the relay some how to my existing power locks!
Ashley C If your vehicle has a power lock system, then all you will need is a key less entry module which costs about $12 (including 2 remote keys) Made in China rocks !

Just wanted to say thanks for the amazing videos, i have been out of the game for a while, used to do this for a living for some time, and now do little side jobs at home and all your videos have been great refreshers.. quick question , i will be working on a 07 toyota yaris that has no power locks or windows, and i am doing a remote start/alarm system on it, its a code alarm ca5663, would i need something like this to add power locks to all doors? i bought 4 separate actuators for the doors, can i still use those? also what would be the easiest way to wire them to the alarm if i do use the separate ones? sorry for some reason i have this feeling i need diodes or something for this method.
all you need is 2 relays to power the actuators
What does the brown and white wire connect to??
Thank you Martin! Another great informational product video! Thank you!
So pretty much this kit already comes with 2 main actuators or that part is an additional buy?
Great video... can I have one master lock? and will it work if I want to install an alarm?
I need help I can't get my prestige asp997e alarm to unlock and lock door s on my 1997 suburban with rear barn doors so for now I just hooked my aviral 3100 to the door lock wires to unlock and lock doors separate remote please help no video on 1997suburban with I think is 5 wire positive or negative door locks
nice video. can this be wired to automatically lock the doors when the car is put in gear and automatically unlock doors when car is put in park?
youll need an alarm pr keyless entry with that programable feature to do that, its a common programmable feature
what happen if u invert the lines of the master lock? i mean if u invert cables of the master lock if u push the unlock on the remote only the master locks and the others actuator unlock? hope u can understand what i mean, sorry for my english 😄
I have a master lock actuator which has a 4 wire setup but my control unit has 5 wires - how would this work?
Thanks :)
Those 2 wires... Brown and white what are they for and where do I connect them in the car?
those are for adding slave motors
I would like to make an 8 actuator system. Will it work on one module?
I have a central lock in my Opel/Vauxhall Corsa C 2003 but it doesn´t have a remote. Could I just install a remote kit (without actuators) or do I still need an actuator? Some say that the pre-installed central lock won´t work with the kits.
Hi, great video. I'm installing an identical kit.
Do you wire the main 12V power wire (the one with the fuse) and ground wire directly to the battery? Or can you tap into another constant power supply from under the dash?
Go right under the dash for it
Hey man quick question how do the brain systems for power locks that have voltage output for window control connect I have looked everywhere. some brain systems have outputs that roll down/up windows with the remote
Ps thanks your videos have helped me a lot
Is there a model youre talking about specifically
Great video!
I need a diagram easy to understand, I'm trying to install 2 door actuators on my ranger but besides the red, black and the blinking lights wires I haven't a clue about the rest. My actuators are both two wire only. Solenoids explained please!..."NO-NC-COM"? AAAHHH!!!
Is there any documentation on how many cycles an actuator like this is good for?
On average its 100k cycles
-- Start driving, press lock button (#2)
-- Arrive at destination, press unlock button (#3) to get out of car
-- Lock car (#4) after getting out of car while you are at work / in store
-- Come back to car, unlock it (#5) to get into car
-- Start driving, press lock button (#6)
-- Arrive back home, press unlock button (#7) to get out of vehicle
-- Press lock button (#8) so that car is secure at your home
That brings it down to 34 years...
I need to know what wires on the silverado to hook up the wires to. it is a viper 5101
sir how can i buy this iteam?
Where i can get like this. I need one because my car has been broblom in drive door lock model
It has central locking so both doors lock when i lock it with keys
that can work, no problem.
@@Lesscoelectronics i got it to work and i got boot centrall opening asswell without the master unit i only used 2 slave units 👍🏼
great video -- thanks. Question for you: could you adapt a keyless entry kit to control one simple circuit, such as the fuel pump? I am thinking of installing something like this as a theft deterrent on my motorcycle -- just use the remote to actuate the FI system. Would that work?? Thanks
Sure, your only limit is your imagination, thats a big reason I love this stuff
I have a problem with my accent 2012 with the master actuator, the place where you hang it by the screws is broken, the same hole i mean, which is plastic but anyway is there a way to fix that or should i get a new one and how to restore its balance to be able to lock all the doors using the remote. thank you.
+Ahmad Alghamdi It'll nevere be right until you replace the motor. It'll always loosen up
when you install this kit do you have to put the power wire directly to the battery?
no, you can grab it anywhere it's convenient. It's not a big amperage draw.
quick question; will this kit work with an aftermarket alarm system? i have an old toyota which i want to install power door locks alongside with an alarm system. thanks in advance.
Yes sir, Like a champ
In one set of lock door there's only 4pcs. But i want 5pcs to my avanza car can i add one on back door can be in one system
Hi. My trunk will not unlock via central lock and keyfob unlock, but works on hold keyfob to unlock. dealership has replaced trunk door lock assembly but problem persists. took it back to them and they ruled out wiring/electrical problems and diagnosed as driver's side (master) door lock assembly is faulty and needs to be replaced. does that make sense? can a problem with driver's side master actuator be the cause of the trunk not being able to be unlocked? also, everytime i open the driver's door when the key is in ignition, it makes unlock/lock sound 3x. thanks for any input
thirdz05 its possible, the driver door is the master actuator to the entire system. I've seen weirder things go down before
Lessco Electronics Ive had this problem since nov 2014.. dealership misdiagnosed it in the 1st place, replaed parts that weren't needed to be replaced and still ended up having the problem. good thing it's still under warranty. have to wait again for parts availability, hopefully problem will be solved this time. thank you for your reply
Does it draw current from battery when it is sitting (car locked) or only when you push button to lock/unlock..
It will only draw current when operating
Hi,I have got a fiat linea 2010 model. The car was involved in an accident,so it has been standing for more than 8 months. Now,it is moving but the problem is the central locking system is not working properly. It,s enither it locks one door or none
Could you add a diagram of how to add an internal (in vehicle) rocker switch to activate all actuators. unlock/lock button
Brad Keys pretty sure a switch connects to white and brown
Thanks.
the master (driver) side actuator isnt fully traveling, or the brown or white leads are loose or disconnected to power the slave motors.
what is the brand name of the central lock system that you've used in your video?
hi, hope you are still around. i have a question that i hope you can probably help me with. i installed and installgear power locking system in my wifes car and it is working in a strange way. when i hit lock on the fob the front doors lock but the 2 rear doors unlock and vise versa if i hit unlock the 2 front doors unlock and the 2 back doors lock. the system i have has 1 master and 3 slave motors. i cant figure out how to fix this issue. do you have any insight?
reverse the 2 actuator wires on the rear 2 doors and itll work fine
@@Lesscoelectronics when i first installed the system i did switch the wires, blue with green on the rear doors and nothing happened. in fact it fried my receiver unit. i ended up purchasing another kit and hoped maybe the original reciever was bad but with the new one installed, doing the same thing.
i never changed the wires, only the reciever is what i changed out.
How do you hook this up for the park lights to flash when lock or unlock to aftermarket 4105 viper
You will need to connect the white output to the 12V trigger wire in the vehicle
there are pulse generators inside the control unit apart from the relays
so where am i suppose to wired the white and brown wire??
I am working on my rear door. The power lock isn't working. I get +/-10v across the two wire lead when I switch lock open and close. How do I check for a faulty actuator.
Gino Punsalan try applying power from a 12v source, 10 may be insufficient
Lessco Electronics I replaced the actuator. It's working now. Thanks.
Easy... pull on it, if its frozen or crunchy sounding, its time for a new one
Hello i have an issue with power lock on my 1998 Astro van. The power lock is locking and unlocking on its own when the car is sitting and this drains the battery. And sometimes it doesn't react on the remote control. Any ideas what can it be? Thanks
+Dmitry Litvinov Ive seen that before, its the probably the factory vke (vehicle keyless entry module). unplug it and rewire it or get a new aftermarket keyless entry host system. the relays tend to chatter and lock up in those gms like that sometimes
nice central locks
how can i install this in a truck that doesnt have power lock in it can u please give me info about that
You are welcome to call us here at 904 342 5491
ok
hi hello i just install a prestage alarm and i cant seem to get the central locking to work with the red and green wires direct to the master actuator what am i do wrong
+Packiam Harold sounds like that driver motor is tired out
Hi, thanks for the great info here. I have a question. Is it possible to add a 5th actuator as a slave? so it would be 2 masters and 3 slaves. or is a second relay necessary for that type of setup? thanks
yes, just tap into any of the existing slave motors and it'll be just fine.
I am not able to lock or unlock my doors with switch or remote, when I do I here a click under the dash. What do you think the problem is...
hi
please can you help me I have got an ML270 I was driving in the highway one day an heard a load click when I stopped my car I discovered the central locking system will not respond to the remote I have changed the battery but that didn't help the remote has been tested its fine you can lock and unlock the car from inside but not with remote.
I'm currently having problems with my central lock system because my car won't lock even though you press it using the key or by pressing the master door lock on the driver seat. I noticed that the master door lock on the driver door is stuck because it's very hard to press it and even you press it then release pressure on it will go back to the unlock phase of the door..
loosen the tension on the driver door (master) actuator hardware linkage and that'll go away.
How to make driver side actuator can unlock all doors?
Easy! add a central relay kit, we have them if you need one.
lesscosales.com
I've been having a hard time troubleshooting, the master only respond to remote and central locking but the 3 other door actuators wont work.
check the central lock relays
i have a ram with power locks but no remote and they say it $400 to get them done …. i bot this kit and was wondering can i not use the remotes and hook up the relay some how to my existing power locks!
Ashley C All you need is this: ( and its under 50 bucks )@140433999764and@400872587525
Ashley C If your vehicle has a power lock system, then all you will need is a key less entry module which costs about $12 (including 2 remote keys) Made in China rocks !
or just the factory remote being programmed should also do the trick too
Thank you!
