A mod I have done with the kettle is to bend a small lip in the inside flange of the lid to prevent the lid from falling out when pouring. I scalded myself quite badly when I was pouring freshly boiling water into a cup and the lid fell out, allowing the steam to rush up and injure me. Trangia should do this in the manufacturing process as a safety feature.
I know what you mean. Good point. For 1 it is perfect. 2 at a push. I am going to go for a 25 with the saute pan sometime in the future. Pity they didn't make a saute pan that fitted the 27. Thanks for watching.
Love that container !! looks better than the orange bag.. any idea how much it weighs??? Is it really too impractical to put in my rucksack??? When checking the heat of somthing always use the back of the hand, if it was hot enough to burn you then your hand is not out of action , because your fingers or palm did not get burned.... Take care out there.
@@littlegrandadoutdoors The case is 200gms so I don't take it in my pack. I take the orange bag instead. My right hand is nerve damaged so I can't really feel much with the back of my hand. I'd have to smell the burning hair😂. It is already pretty much out of action anyway😂
