Trangia 25 is an nice piece of kit.
Enjoyed the unvarnished and straight talk. Had to go watch your 4DS Bushcooker 2 one to find out what you used the Trangia burner in.
The T 25 is my favourite Jack of all trades. You can always find another stove that is lighter or cheaper or more efficient but when combining all the qualities I look for in a stove it always comes out on top. I'm looking forward to the next installment from your road trip my friend. Cheers!
I really do appreciate your support but even more your friendship. I will be doing some filming tomorrow evening. Circumstances precluding any outdoor action.
You can use the gas cans for blow torches to refill too and they are cheaper than camping gas cans, Lidl even has them on offer sometimes for very reasonable money. I must say I do love looking at camping pot videos
I love camping pots myself - much to the chagrin of my beautiful other half.
Well done the Trangia!
Looking forward to the vehicle review. 2 months a good test for cooking kit and you'd take it again. Interested to see what the expeditionary vehicle verdict will be 😊
I didn't really like the vehicle but I will see if there is some footage somewhere.
My first Trangia was the 27 which i still use for hiking. I use the 25 for picnicking with family and it resides in the back of my 4wd for cooking while out camping and on the trail. It's a great alternative to those really expensive setups people are using now.
What can we say, there is no school like the old school!!😉
My wife's a junkie.........on coffee.Love it!🤠🇺🇲
Yours too? Loved the whole coffee culture in the States!
Trangia Looks like a nice system Steve, better than most I'd wager.
Got me an old Svea 123 that I'm very fond of, along with a mors pot ,a steel skillet and a porcelain mug...all abit heavy perhaps, but i don't mind...subbed....woods
Hiya Wood, I appreciate your sub - thank you! It is thoroughly old fashion and totally worked out and just keeps working. Old 123s are wonderful little stoves and the rest of the kit sounds first class. Isn't that the secret; take a few things that really work across the spectrum rather than trying to be too specialised?
New York Strip Steak is the same as a Kansas City Steak. Or a Delmonico Steak.
Hope that clears things up. 😆
(It is a cut from the Short loin and makes up half of the Porterhouse. Might be called a Striploin in other realms.)
Thank Jack, now I know....🤣
Early trangia gas burners didn't have that aluminium plate.
Thanks, that explains it. That's the boon of this little channel is what I learn from your guys.
