Can I just say that your channel is AWESOME!!! Coming from someone who absolutely LOVES response mechanics and physics in games, this channel and your work is a godsend that I didn't even know I needed. So many awesome games that I would love to play but can't find or would fly under my radar are featured on your channel. Thank you so much for all the work and content you produce!!! It is SO appreciated!!!
Thanks a lot Jacob! Lots more to come
just an idea: would be sick if later on down the line we could have a carrier type of ship, with the ability to release weaker drone-like fighters aswell as ground units, would def help with overwhelming numbers of enemies and would make it feel more like an actual invasion
Love the art style... It would be interesting to have a top down isometric version, maybe being able to switch back and forth depending on the scene.
I can’t wait
I remember a similar game on the playstore called grabatron. One of my favorites back then.
Wait this game is made by one person? If it is thats just unbelievable how great it looks. Also the dev himself sounds like someone whos an expert at this.
Yep, it is. Very cool project
I’m hoping we’ll see a classic flying saucer ufo too!
I think people should for the very least be able to mod it in. We talked a bit about modding, he mentioned adding buildings, so perhaps adding a flying saucer could be possible too
@@RandomMadnessChannel heck yeah! I was just wondering cause ya gotta have the classic flying saucer 😄
@@RandomMadnessChannelI’ve been looking for a ufo game on pc that’s for sure
I hope he adds human AI to this. There's no way people would calmly walk or drive by an alien flying saucer without even slowing down or stopping to watch. And flee when it attacks.
They actually do stop, radius might be bit small but depending on awareness of given region they either stay still when you are nearby or flee. Ofc they flee the moment you start any aggression.
@@janorszulik6429 Really cool ! Glad to know it's a feature. I had trouble seeing it watching the video, so maybe it's the radius indeed :)
Btw, do you plan on realeasing your game on Steam ?
@@Grumf. Currently there is no plan to target Steam specifically, I have few issues with how they are treating developers, but never say never.
@@janorszulik6429 I can respect that. I'll keep an eye on the project anyway. I was just curious on where to buy it when it comes out.
@@Grumf. Thanks! I will keep you guys informed on that matter for sure :)
Game looks similar to Grabatron on mobile. Nice.
Is that an android game? I’ve never heard of it and can’t find it on the app stoee
>mobile
Yikes
I loved that game! Sadly it's not available anymore
no blood and gore not happy
this channel isnt only about gore there is some destruction vids too
Dropping humans makes them splatter, shockwaves turn them into flying chunks, however there is only this many pixels I can make them splatter into before it start looking ridiculous for asset that's 7 pixel tall :) not enough resolution for more gore sadly.
