The main thing is that the bodies have mass and they settle with their entire mass and do not fly off like air mattresses, the bodies must have mass and relaxed joints should not be wooden and tense. Thank you for the advice from the developers, you are the only one who pays attention to this, thank you.
I'm already fatigued from the amount of body cam games and reshade presets I've been seeing in games. This is going to become really oversaturated. Plus, most of these games don't do what unrecord does with the ads, it's not offset to simulate the eyes that are well above the camera.
this implementation looks kinda poor imo, the head bobbling around from side to side is really unpleasant to watch. it looks as if the player has one of their lean left/right keys stuck down, or like the character’s neck is limp and their head randomly tilts around due to gravity. its hard to imagine that this feels very good to play
@@c.o.6414 it looks supremely unpleasant. I like the idea of a body cam game, but it will always be jarring and unpleasant in execution.
@@rubenthekid it's only good for gameplay videos. for actual gameplay it's just a nuisance and unnecessarily distorts everything.
@@RSpracticalshooting exactly, that's exactly it. shit I even thought about how stupid it is that these body cam reshade presets are even being released at mass for different games when it's only purpose is for screen archery or gameplay videos, but actually using it must be a bitch.

Man I was waiting for a new game announcement from NWI and then I'm seeing the studio getting shut down. That was quite a downer
@RandomMadnessChannel end of a giant for sure. I've been playing sandstorm for years and the itch is growing for sure. I knew once the single player was canned we were in for it with them.
I think it kinda sucks that this is basically just copied homework of Unrecord

@@hotpufff123 besides the market assets, all this probably took a couple months, and the Unrecord trailer came out a year ago

@@the.true.A I think I may have seen one game or the other and thought they were something else. Also I think Ready or Not allows you to playback your game from a body cam perspective and I confused it with real-time gameplay
@@klaatunecktie7906 Tbh you have somewhat of a point, while I haven't seen many games try to do this, I have seen a billion mods for a LOT of shooters that try to emulate bodycams, most notably RoN and gmod
Ive said it before, this FOV bodycam shit is more of a nuisance than anything. Its cool for videos but for actually playing it, its shit. There's nothing realistic about it for real time gameplay. Its cool for video playback but other than that it's just unnecessarily distorting your view.
I have a sneaky feeling that its being used to hide the fact that without all the distortion it wouldn't look nearly as "realistic"

@@matt2.052 the whole "bodycam" aesthetic is just a gimmick. it doesn't add to the gameplay, it just distorts everything to give this sense of faux realism when it's really just a clever mask. it also doesn't make sense from a realism standpoint because nobody is looking through a camera during a firefight, this looks cool for gameplay videos but for actual gameplay it's a gimmicky distraction.
