I'm not a fan of cars or driving games but this is the only exception. Been playing this for over a decade I can't believe it's still offers the best soft body destruction physics simulation on the market.
Arguably the best car simulator out there period. At least the ones I've tried. People usually focus on the destruction too much when for example this is an insane rally sim or pretty much anything racing related lol
It's definitely good as a rally sim, with really satisfying consequences if you mess up
this! its like garrys mod for cars. you could make any racing game out of it. a street racing mod would go so hard. imagine nfsu racing but every crash matters and too much hp and your engine blows up. would be so intense.
Hell yeah, it's my favorite rally and drag racing
drag and rally it's good. track not so much. all the cars understeer far too much.
@@RSpracticalshooting thats why you can tune them to your liking. more negative camber in the front, less in the back, more locked diffs and a different gear ratio and you oversteer crazy.
Its really got that Burnout Paradise vibe to it imo

great video as usual, there is a new mod in gmod called complex ragdolls, its as good as reagdoll if not better. It would be cool if you make a video on it ❤

Personally I'd be happy if it just had a car damage setting between the arcade-y one they have by default and something more realistic (that's often done by mods)
Is there any way you can start uploading in 1440p, or 4K? RUclips does major damage to 1080p videos now a days, especially on large displays.
don't know if you are using the "simplified traffic" setting, but it does reduce the physics and softbody quality by a lot on the traffic cars, it's usually recommended to have it on since it massively increases your performance with traffic but it's best to turn it off for demonstration stuff, just thought id mention that

Next they need to have ragdoll models that can sit in the cars that have their own destruction and dismemberment physics with skeletons and organs. Would definitely be a hit
There was a kinda janky wip mod for that, not sure if it was released publicly
