You forgot to mention that the psionic hypersiphon also fast-tracks you to the unbidden crisis and can cause it to happen MUCH earlier than it's supposed to. I've built that thing early on in the mid-game and had them spawn literally months afterwards. That thing is really dangerous.
Quick question: do you have to go down the psionic ascension path?
@@dinodude6992 I've only ever encountered it on that path, but you could just need the psionics tech.

Fun fact: If you convert the asteroids in the system you plan to build a Nicoll Dyson beam in into asteroid artillery first then building the NDB will not delete them. So you can have a well defended NDB that enemy fleets can't just jump into and take off you just like that in the late game.
Fascinating :O I haven't really had the time or need to dip into the mod scene for Stellaris even though I've been playing a few years now ... the detail and mechanical depth of these gigastructures is amazing!
As if all of this wasn't enough. Someone decided to make a mod adding onto this. The gargantuan quasar craft. It takes the quasi stellar obliterator, and turns it into a MONSTER of a ship. Like. This is honest to god the biggest ship I have EVER seen in stellaris. And i've seen a lot of giant ship mods.
I saw the concept of quasar powered ship in one of my dream… someone made it into Stellaris

@@KimSunoo2403 Ironically I haven't been able to play stellaris since this post. Game is to laggy. Even on a small galaxy fresh start. I barely know how to do anything in the base gigastructures mod.
The Intertemporal Restorator is locked behind the Blokkats, as it is used to fix the damage they do.
The Hyperdinensional Destabilizer is what you use to stop the blokkats at all, and obviously can't be built if they don't show up.
Details beyond that are SPOILERS.
You forgot to mention that the Penrose Sphere Bomb also randomizes the hyperlanes in the galaxy

I have only found 1 square world in a game before. its basically a ringworld, but in a square shape. im also not sure if you covered it but for the bigger ringworlds you can build additional habitable sections by right clicking on them with a construction ship and its in the megastructure menu I believe. in the video at 15:14 its the 2 sections to the right of the habitable ones.
You can talk to the ai in it for research buffs
I've found the Squareworld in most games, but I've never managed to get it's system before.
Think square worlds have special districts
The intertemporal Restoration is after you defeat the Blokkats.

Talk about the crisises, the stellar system craft.
They just added a new origin called Elysian overseer that completely changes how planets work, right now its a bit hard but the devs say they are working on balancing it
Basically the jobs a planet gets are based on the planet designation, planets get half as many districs and NO buildings, but and orbital elysium is built above where all the rulers reside, and give buffs to the planet below as well as absolutely devouring your consumer goods
To clarify they overhauled the orbital elysium to make this, it isn't like in the video anymore

It would be cool to play in a galaxy inside a universe fused with the Shroud after an Aetherophasic Engine went off, now every empire survivng on ring worlds or sphere worlds around their black holes, the only environment safe from massive psionic influxes, corrupted avatars and Ascended Empires.

The Maw system is utterly awesome with this mod. You can build a ton of awesome structures on the black holes.

Getting a completely confusing menu for this mod when I start a new game. Any clues what settings i need to set to get the mod to work in-game?
Set all megastructures to infinite, then select the difficulty for the three modded crises to your preferences

Set the end game ahead, I recommend powerful mods and increasing ascension perks cap
Remember, blokkat difficulties above normal are NOT meant to be played with just gigastructural engineering. They are there so guys with Zenith of the Fallen Empires and/or Ancient Cache of Technologies don't steamroll the blokkats.
