Me to, just my way of saying THANK YOU without you knowing ... Now you know ... Hahahah, glad to know that NOT my self that feels that way ... Thanks for everything SATORI.
I'm not a graphic designer nor an aspiring graphic designer, but I love these videos. Even as an engineer and someone that likes to watercolor, I find it inspiring. Watching other people discuss their art and design is fascinating to me
You never disappoint me 🙂 Everytime I watch your vid there are lots of things I learn . Thanks for that! I've been doing some personal graphic designs but this basic tips helps to lighten up myself before starting to make a new graphic stuffs.
Videos like this help me pass on design information on in an easy way, like I've a hard time even explaining what I do s9bthis just breaks down what I need t9 relay ☺️ Like even even got a notebook with shortened down versions of you videos 😁
I love sampling colours from a photograph, but it's hard, because a lot of clients don't have consistent photography. It's easier to do it the other way around, as you can colour correct photographs to get the right colour samples.
I get how we can choose colors something that is material, like food furniture etc. What about Marketing based website? Education based website. The color psychology recommended colors are over used. So should I stand out or fit in?
Hey Satori, What should be the standard spacing between logomark and typography in the Combination mark logos(e.g.: Adidas) horizontally and vertically. And what should be the standard size aspect ratio between both, horizontal and vertical? what about the outside spacing of a logo?
197k views by now and I bet that at least 10% of viewers stopped the video around 4:00 just to download Aileron font family before continuing to watch 😄
Do you think it's best to learn most of logo design by working for clients, or should I at least practice making logos for a while beforehand? So far I've been teaching myself about graphic design online for a year and I'm not sure if I'm ready to start working with people.
Corel is fine for those who can use it. The tool is not really much of an issue, you can use Inkscape, Affinity, whatever you want basically. As long as it produces vector graphics and you are comfortable with it.
Patience, practice and persistence. Study the graphic design principles first, and master them until you have no confusion about what they are and how to use them
Hello, I always appreciate the content of your videos and the knowledge you share. Thank you so much for that, but want to share some feedback - lately your videos have too much of animations which cause annoyance, especially on large screens.
Greetings, Satori Graphics. I want to learn graphic designing and the art it provides, but anywhere i look for it people only talk about minimalistic styles. What about other styles, what other styles are there, what other options could i use, why would i only use a minimalistic style and is there any other type of graphic designing except for web designing? I'm a begginer at all of this and i know nothing. I always considered myself an artist because i always understood art and knew how to express my own type of art (In a not so simple and minimal way). I always liked fantasy type games and i would love to be in that industry, I would love to create 3d art for the open worlds and open worlds themselves and i would love to create interfaces and UIs. Are these youtube guides for graphic design and graphic design itself something im looking for to help me with my goals? Thank you in advance. =)
i dont know why but the landing page without the image looks so sus. whenever i see a vaguely professional looking website like that without any brand or product-specific images it seriously makes me think “...is this a scam?”
It looks like Swiss 721 Std Thin by Bitstream. www.fonts.com/font/bitstream/swiss-721/thin There are quite a few that look almost identical but the one above comes closest.
Before you start designing, after you're done with research, think about :
- colour choice
- sample colours
- context
- font pairs
- point of interest
great summary thanks!
I still watched the entire video because it’s so satisfying 😌

Your tips are right useful, but what do you do if you have no idea to start with your layout?
then you need to go through the design process of research, concept creation and refinement

Hey, first comment 👍
Serif font at 3:33
Can you please tell me the typeface name.
I was exactly gonna ask this. Please do tell me if you’ve learned anything.
In what software do you edit your videos?
Font that you use in this video is strongly reminds me of black ops cold war
Awesome

Plz let me know fonts you used in video
Is the Tom Misch cover there as a placeholder or did you work on it!?
Do you animate text in Ae from scratch or use templates ?
For such videos I pass on my design outlines to a motion graphics editor. They sometimes use templates and other times do things from scratch
