- Are you looking for a vegan honey that doesn't have any difference from the actual honey? Then you just found it on this recipe. This dandelion honey tasty exactly the same as the real honey and it's extremely healthy. It is used against gastric, intestine, liver, kidney and gall bladder diseases. Dandelion honey helps the liver and kidneys to do their work and keeps the bowels in a healthy condition, particularly important to dyspeptics (persons who suffer from indigestion or irritability) as it does not cause wakefulness.

I can't wait to try this I have dozens of dandelions out in my yard. This looks so wonderful.
You will love it :) I would appreciate it if you could subscribe our channel and support us :)
I made it this past weekend...it’s freaking goooood 🤤
Thank you very much and I'm glad you liked it 😊😊😊
so basically made dandelion tea, then reduced it with sugar. i love this. i wonder what other teas would make a nice "honey"
Thank you so much, can't wait to try this tomorrow, looks amazing and we substitute honey for sugar in our drinks, honey here in the UK is very expensive, plus now more to the vegan side, perfect, hope mine is as good as yours.
I hope it turned out the way I made it 😊😊😊
Wow I didn't even know it's possible to make syrup from dandelion! That's so creative and looks good!
Thank you very much :) It tastes exactly like the real honey :)
Not exactly dandelion syrup its sugar syrup
Looks amazing, can this be done with elderflowers or other blossoms? luv n light x
Thank you very much, yes it can be done with elderflowers using the same technique, remember though the amount of sugar might be different depending how many elderflowers you will be using ☺️☺️☺️
@@AAHomemade Thank you x
@@summerbreeze1955 your welcome 😊😊😊
I made it last week...amazing!! 🌼
I'm glad that you liked it 😊😊 I would appreciate it if you could subscribe our channel and support us 😊😊😊
This texture is perfect
Thank you very much 😊😊😊
🤔It looks good but I will be concerned about the amount of sugar....
dandelion is bitter so it needs a bit of sugar to taste like a honey
Thanks
Your welcome 😊😊😊
great idea💗😋👏
Thank you very much :) I would appreciate it if you could subscribe our channel and support us :)
I tried and a love this idea
I'm really glad that you liked it :)
Great recipe. Just wondering though how healthy is it because it has so much brown sugar?
thank you very much, you can eat a teaspoon or 2 teaspoons a day, normally I'm using that on my tea or when I have a sour throat or a cough, 1-2 teaspoons before bed time and next day when I wake up I'm perfect 😊😊😊
@@AAHomemade thank you for clarifying. Great. I’ll try it soon.
@@fadelmuthana you will love it 😊😊😊
Exactly!the amount of sugar says otherwise about "healthy"
So wouldn’t you be able to do the same with purchased bee pollen? Just to take away the small gross stuff like bugs and pesticides.
I have never tried it out, Some vegans consider pollen to fall under the same umbrella as other bee products and they will never consume it, while others consider bee pollen to be OK to consume.
Love this 😋
Thank you very much 😊😊😊
I keep seeing all these lovely videos but get put off as im worried about trying things when im on medications.
I’m so sorry to hear that. I hope when you get better to give it a go though 😊😊😊
Thank you for reply. What I meant was is it safe to eat when you take medication daily?
@@janjohnson6721 if you have diabetes this recipe is not for you because of the sugar otherwise I don’t think it will harm you ☺️☺️☺️
How long is it good for in sealed container
You can use it up to a year 😊😊😊
Silly question what does it taste like ?
For me 99% like real honey 🍯☺️☺️☺️
You don't remove the green parts of the flowers? I heard that they add a bitter tast to the Dandelion' jelly or honey...
Not really I personally didn't feel any bitter taste on my honey, but you can always remove them, cause sometimes when we hear something, it stucks in our mind. The taste will not be bitter but because you've heard that you might feel a bitter taste in your honey. 😊😊😊
Is the lemon taste strong and noticeable?
No not really you can add orange as well if you want instead of lemon 😊😊😊
How long will this Dandelion Tea last? Like when will it expire?
You can use it for 1 year without any problem. I always use mine for about a year and never had any problem 😊😊😊
@@AAHomemade Thank you do Flippin much! For the recipe and help! 💕Have a lovely day and be safe out there
@@leemuhall9810 your welcome and thank you very much, have a nice day as well 😊😊😊
That's a lot of sugar! Is there a substitute?
unfortunately no
New subscriber here 👍
Thank you very much 😊😊😊
How much dandelion do you need for this recipe
Roughly 250 flowers 😊😊😊
Wowww I'll try this it looks so goood
Thank you very much 😊😊😊 it's really good and very healthy, it's perfect if you have a soar throat or a cough. I'm using that whenever I got soar throat before sleep 2-3 teaspoons and the next day I'm perfect 😊😊😊
👍👍👍🙏
Did the green parts not make it bitter?
Not at all the taste it's really nice like a real honey, it's not bitter at all :) I would appreciate it if you could subscribe our channel and support us :)
A&A Homemade thank you. Subbed 🙏🏼
@@Just-Nikki thank you very much :)
Is this light or dark brown sugar?
I just made some dandelion honey and I didn't realize I was supposed to let it cool for several hours? Oh well
Don’t worry you can always make some more or if you did enough it will cool down. I hope you liked it 😊😊😊
I mean I didn't know I was supposed to let the dandelion juice water cool down, before I added the sugar to make the honey. But for my first time it turned out pretty good and delish. Though it's not as thick. I guess I didn't boil it long enough but I did boil simmer it for an hour.
@@createart8032 getting the thickness you want it’s all about simmering it a bit longer because it depends more on the temperature of your hob instead of how long you simmer it, make sure it’s a has a nice consistency before removing it from the hob, but also it gets thicker as well while it’s cooling down 😊😊😊
@@AAHomemade okay that's good to know... I was afraid to get it too hot cuz I've always read that you cook the nutrients out of it lol idk..but I plan to make it again this week because I'll know more about what I'm doing the next time. The mistakes I made was after boiling the flowers I should have let them sit for at least a few hours before moving on to the next step. This time I know to let it boil for a few minutes before I turn it down to simmer. Yep mistakes were made but that's how it goes. lol
Seems like an awful lot of sugar. Ugh. Sugar is very bad for the immune system. I have tons of dandelions each spring and would love to make this. How can so much sugar be vegan? I'm not being mean here, just curious.
if you want to get the taste of a honey you have to add that amount of sugar 😊😊😊 otherwise the dandelion honey will be bitter.
@@AAHomemade Thank you. My sis had made dandelion wine with the greens and it is just awful. Many bottles ruined. Perhaps cooking with it would help as a way not to throw it all out I'm wondering. But the wine with my wild black raspberries turned out awesome lol. Have a blessed day!
@@casual454t1 thanks a lot, just try it out and I'm pretty sure you will love it, always when I'm having a cough or a sore throat I'm eating 2 tbsps of dandelion honey and the next day I'm perfect 😊😊😊
@@casual454t1 the wine with black wild raspberries sounds delicious 😊😊😊
@@AAHomemade She has also made mead with them.🍷🍷🍷Omg delish lol! She also made an apple wine that tasted just like champagne. True story😁
I like the idea but but the amount of sugat is creeping me out.this is basically melted sugar.
It tastes exactly the same like the real honey 🍯 I know the amount of sugar is much but it has a lot of healthy nutritions. 😊😊😊
No orange ???
if you want you can use it but I prefer lemon 😊😊😊
can you do without this white death ?
Unfortunately not sorry 😕 😞
Use birch sugar (xylitol) it is a perfect substitute for sugar and has antibacterial, antiviral properties but it can’t be turned into a true sugar by your body. it’s used in mouthwash, toothpaste etc. for its properties. meaning it will give your dandelion honey the same health benefits as real honey.
Super honey 👍 music annoying👎
thank you very much, it's not easy finding a good music around 😊😊😊
