5:25 that module basically acts as a junction between other ISS modules. Forward of it is the Destiny laboratory,on one side is Node 3 “Tranquillity”,on the other side is the Quest airlock, and going back from Unity gets you to the Russian modules.

This is all so interesting. I have never been there, but I have heard it is awesome. You just confirmed that. Talk about historic events, some of our American heroes and heroines, let alone the original artifacts, etc. I have relatives in Houston. I believe I know what I'll be including on my next visit there. Those recreations are amazing. Thank you so much for taking us along, Nick... a great video👨‍🚀👩‍🚀🧑‍🚀👏🚀

So cool glad most things are open. Were the tours going thru the space center. We went to Kennedy back in January and the tour busses were closed.

Yes everything was pretty much open. The actual mission control side of things I’m not sure but what we saw was all open. Just had to wear a mask inside still. We want to go see the Kennedy center someday! How was it besides the tour buses being closed?

@@TravelswithNick the hours were reduced. Still got to see Atlantis and ride the shuttle experience. We like to stay at Cocoa Beach in the winter for a long weekend at the beach. Shot tons of footage and will get to editing someday

I am SO jealous right now! I was at the Museum of Technology here in Stockholm recently and they have a great exhibit about Mars, with a lot of similar things to this video. But that was so small compared to all the stuff at this place! Goddammit, I want to go there as well!

LOLLL! That's funny. Good to hear though you got to see something similar! I hope you get the chance to make it to Houston someday to see this was definitely worth it. Thanks!

Some day all the articles and exhibits are really going to look ancient 😀. That was interesting to see some nuts and bolts of the what it took to achieve space👍. Historically (which usually escapes us in the present) HSC an embodiment of the dawn of humankind
explorations and eventual traveling of the cosmos. Maybe not in our life time ( perhaps ) - Thanks for the tour 💫
