The Boston Strangler: True Crime Locations Then & Now
The Boston Strangler: True Crime Locations Then & Now. The Boston Strangler is the name given to the murderer of 13 women in Greater Boston during the early 1960s. The crimes were attributed to Albert DeSalvo based on his confession, on details revealed in court during a separate case, and DNA evidence linking him to the final victim. In the years following DeSalvo's conviction - but prior to the emergence of this DNA evidence - various parties investigating the crimes suggested that the murders (sometimes referred to as the "Silk Stocking Murders") were committed by more than one person

    In order to prove a conspiracy, one must at least have some evidence that the missing Carcano rifle from the Ruth Paine residence, Oswald leaving his wedding ring, and cash in coffee cup that morning, Buell Frazier taking him to work when he had a package under his arm; package left near the sniper’s nest with the stashed rifle and palmprint on the weapon, three shell casings by the window and testing positive for nitrates on hands after arrest, leaving the scene of the assassination in less than three minutes, shooting and killing JD Tippit about 45 minutes later, and tries to shoot arresting officer in the Texas Theatre with the same .38, taxi and bus pssses found in pocket on arrest, the three backyard photos with the weapons that Marina said Oswald told her to take with his camera, and proven to be authentic over 20 times, the note Marina kept that Oswald wrote to her before the attempted assassination of Edwin Walker, and finally the two TSBD workers on the 5th floor under the sniper’s nest who heard three shots and clicks of a bolt action were all “planted or “fabricated.”

    You have some of the little details wrong. Regarding Tippet, Tippet was on the same side of the street as "Oswald", not the opposite. They talked for a bit then he shot Tippet, Tippet fell, and he stepped around the front of the car and shot him again.

    I'm sorry but, if you really think that Oswald assassinated John F. Kennedy all by himself you need to do a lot more homework. He was involved in it but, he just didn't know what his role was going to be until it was to late. He was exactly what he said he was "a patsy". 30:20 you just gave it a tap. If you want to find Oswald's grave site there are several websites that still show where it's located.

    Oswald was the lone gunman. It has been already proven by multiple scientific examinations of trajectory, etc. Everyone always focuses on proving a 2nd gunmen. This is futile. Just because Oswald is the lone gunman does not disprove a conspiracy. Oswald had contacts and relations with all the possible co conspirators- the mafia, the Soviet Union(although their records state they thought he wouldn't make a good spy for them?), Cuba, the CIA is a bit harder to prove but that is possible too, but we don't know. What we do know, is that Oswald was the lone gunman. Who he worked for is separate examination. But people prefer to cling to the idea of a 2nd or 3rd gunmen. Not a good direction to follow. It's a dead end.

    I often wondered where Oswald was really going by the end of the day. Did he have a plan about where to go or what to do? We will never know, but it seems strange that he would just wander around after shooting President Kennedy. Add that he didn't even attempt to hide his appearance. He went home, got dressed and started walking. Not well thought out. If he was a patsy, then he was a dumb patsy. If he was part of a conspiracy, then why would he even be allowed to walk around like that and risk getting captured by police who would find things out. He would have been killed quickly and no body would have ever been found thus creating the belief that he acted alone and got away with it. I believe that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone and assassinated President John F. Kennedy.

      No way LHO acted alone. He was set up to be the fall guy. Plenty of eyewitnesses stated they heard shots fired from behind the grass knoll picket fence. The description was already put out to the police right after the shooting. Impossible. . Ruby killed him to shut him up.

    • @gregford2103
      @gregford2103 10 часов назад

      I agree with you about him acting alone. I read one book by a journalist in Dallas at the time, and he conjectures that Oswald was going to use a bus transfer he obtained to catch another one that could have taken to a bus terminal. It was there, the author conjectured might have tried to catch a bus to Mexico. It's as plausible as any theory I've heard, although from what I read Oswald didn't have much money on him at the time, so I don't know how he would have paid for it.

    • @tomodonovan5931
      @tomodonovan5931 5 часов назад

      But what could his real motive have been? I heard a theory that his estranged wife was always commenting on how attractive Kennedy was, and maybe, just maybe this could have been the reason he did what he did. Oswald felt the marriage was over, and he commits the most heinous crime because of hurt feelings. It really makes no sense, but neither did Lee Harvey Oswald. Assassinations and attempted ones have always had a motive. Sirhan Sirhan, James Earl Ray, Squeaky Fromme, John Hinckley, they all had a motive. Maybe JFK's murder was something other than political, though Oswald had been suspected of shooting at General Walker earlier. I feel Oswald was suicidal, and just did not care what happened at all in his life. His marriage was the straw that broke the camel's back. That is, if his killing the President was not motivated by his politics.

    • @tomodonovan5931
      @tomodonovan5931 5 часов назад

      @@gregford2103 I don't think Oswald would have made it there. Even if he did, his capture would have been imminent. He was as helpless as a check-mated king on a chessboard. .

    I heard that in the aftermath of JFK's assassination there was a fear that it was coordinated by the USSR or her respective allies. For a brief period afterwards, many servicemen tasked with launching Minuteman missles (and other nuclear ICBMs at the time) departed from traditional emergency war order protocol by removing the launch keys from EWO lockbox inserting them in the launch panel and placing the launch code authentication in sealed envelope at the ready.

    Johnny Brewer told Julia Postal some lies when he said he was sitting in the store and saw Oswald ducking into stores, what stores? He couldn't see Oswald down the street ducking into stores from his vantage point, the Hardy store counter, he also told the Warren Commission some lies when he said he saw Oswald standing in front of the ticket booth area how can that be? He said the man walked in without paying, which he watched from up the street. The ticket booth is several feet in from the theatre footpath. It's great to see the area and sites. Julia Postal is exactly truthful either, she felt bad about telling lies, and revealed that Johnny Brewer had been trying to take her out, but she was a happily married woman. There's a lot of shocking things that paint a totally different picture than the conclusions of the Warren Commission report. The entry ramp was on Main street where Ruby said he entered. The Exit ramp was on Commerce street.

    Come on man, please drop all this "allegedly" narrative. Like you say, even the sign denoting the murder of officer Tippit doesn't doubt Oswald's involvement. Good filming though, thank you. I'm from the UK and my only trip to Dallas was in May 88 and to my eternal dismay I read a sign on the book depository telling people that it was going to become a museum the following year so I just missed out. The place at the time was completely locked up (UK description) with nobody around whatsoever. I still regret though to this day in not getting a cab over to the Texas theatre and not checking a movie out just to be able to say I'd been there and maybe getting lucky by sitting in Oswald's seat!. I don't know, maybe at the time I had to get back on the Greyhound on my way ultimately to New Orleans. Thanks again bud. PS By the way they took Oswald, black eye and all, out the front of the theatre.

      Oswald owned the rifle. Oswald smuggled the rifle. Oswald's latent print was on the rifle. Oswald had every bullet and fragment ever found matched to his rifle. Oswald lied to police about his whereabouts during the shooting. Oswald was a perfectly plausible match to the shooter seen in the window. Witnesses directly under that window firmly said the shots all came from directly overhead. Oswald was in a building where no unidentified persons were ever seen by anybody. Oswald was the only employee inside the building during the shooting to immediately flee and never return to the plaza. Oswald shot a cop and was captured trying to shoot a second cop. Oswald refused to cooperate with any investigator. Oswald never attempted to blow any conspiracy framing or sacrificing him to any cop, any member of his family, to the President of the Dallas Bar Association, or to a live TV audience of millions
