WOW, why is this museum closing, I wonder...🤔 At least, it's relocating to historic Gettysburg. I HOPE that all of this FANtastic paraphernalia, an historic part of our past, will be displayed, and not stored away... This museum is/was phenomenal. When we think of all those, authentic items on display, it is simply awe-inspiring, and makes me feel melancholy. Both sides were displayed with such respect. *After all, most of those in the North, as well as those in the South served the side they happened to have been born in. The ages are staggering. You did a terrific job of presenting these, priceless displays. I wish I had seen this, in person. Thank you so very much, Nick. I thoroughly "enjoyed" , and fully appreciate this video. 💔❤️🩹🔥👏🏻👏🏻
Thanks so much Rhonda for the great comment! Not 100% sure what will happen to everything but glad it’s going to Gettysburg! I’m glad I got to bring you along before they closed 😎✌️
I’ve been here before! No idea they were shutting down. Really sad 😔 glad I got to see it one last time though thru your video. Great job Nick. I enjoyed your excitement 😊
My wife and I were there last December. It is sad that such a nice museum is closing. Are we ashamed of our history? My ancestor's spurs were in there. Confederate General Benjamin Franklin Cheatham. I inquired about purchasing them, but never got a response. Thanks for the memories. Enjoyed your video.
Just look at the Wikipedia page for this place and you'll see why it's closing. Some people don't like the opinions expressed in the museum... this is America in 2024. BTW, red is for artillery.

Wow this is interesting! I’m glad many of the artifacts will be moving to a new place so people can still see them somehow. Great tour Nick!
I hope they keep a lot of them on display somewhere up in Gettysburg. Thanks for watching! 😎✌️
Been there couple times. They had some neat stuff
I loved it! Sad it’s closed now though. Thanks again!
