I was in Las Vegas and we stopped at a random casino to get something to eat and that casino had the car they were killed in and the shirt Clyde was wearing. It was really neat to see.

The Barrow boys head stone used to be upright not flat. I remember seeing it back in the early 80's. Also, back then the Cemetery was in horrible condition. It was like nobody even bothered to keep it mowed.

The bridge you were at in Irving is not the Devil's Back Porch. The DBP and the bridge are on the West Dallas on Singleton. The family meetings and photos took place just to the west of the bridge.
Many people make the same mistake.
Also, while their parents knew they would be killed, Henry never had any such meeting with Frank Hamer. While a great movie, there is very very very little fact to it.

Excellent work here, Takes time doing these B & C, Another one you might have fun doing is MA Barker, Alvin did a couple of books, Had 1 son and died, heart attack or over dosing, very smart guy, Floyd ask to join up & Alvin said no, We had our own set of problems. Alvin told Ma Barker was just an old lady built up after they killed off the Barker gang, Ma was not involved in any of the gang. Just had outlaw as sons. Alvin also called the FBI Director the gold dust twins, The public been told westerns before, Just where the lies start & the Truth ends

It's so weird that I never knew Bonnie was buried at Crown Hill Memorial until probably about 10 years ago, it's the same cemetery my grandparents and great grandparents on my father's side are buried. I think my great grandparents bought those plots well before Bonnie was buried there, but since discovering Bonnie is there I often wondered if my grandparents even knew she was buried there, or what they thought about it if they did. We actually have at least four additional burial plots that were intended for my parents, and whoever else in the family wanted them, but I doubt we will use them as that cemetery isn't in the greatest of locations.

I used to hear at family reunions that we were related to Bonnie and Clyde somehow. Eventually through genealogy research I found out we are actually related to Ivy (helped with the ambush) and Henry Methvin (ran with them after they broke him out of prison). They were my paternal grandmother’s cousins so my generation is something like second cousin, twice removed to Henry.

  • @maureencooper452

They were kids! I firmly believe Clyde got himself into a life of crime out of necessity. Bonnie wanted excitement and adventure. Together they fueled each other. So sad

Clyde and Ray robbed a bank in my hometown of Lancaster, TX - just south of Dallas. There's a documented letter of Ray (when he was jailed on other charges) mentioning the Lancaster exploits. Clyde and Ray robbed the bank and met up w/Bonnie a bit further out of town. For many years the location which used to be the bank still existed (Henry Bank) and the vault of the bank was displayed for anyone who cared to see it. Sadly, a tornado came through the area around 1994 and destroyed the building. Last time I looked (which has been some years ago) the original floor tiles of the bank could still be seen, but not much more - except encroaching grass and earth.

It’s a very interesting story, and I appreciate all the work you did to take us to these sites. But I think it’s important to remember that this immoral couple and their gang killed 12 innocent men. Their wickedness meant that children never saw their fathers again and had to grow up never knowing a father’s love and support. Their wives and girlfriends lost the men they wanted to grow old with. Their parents had to bury their sons before them. Dozens upon dozens of lives were ruined because of the selfish actions of Bonnie and Clyde. I hope they are never given the glamour of being buried side by side. How mind blowing it is to read people defending them.

Question, is there a reason why you don't give the address or location of the places visited?? Like the exact location of the bridge OR the address of the funeral home (Clyde) also.??
Even posting or showing the location where the funeral home "was" for Bonnie, as seen today, etc.? I'm from here and know some locations but not all & I'm sure others would like to know also.. Thanx for the video as overall, nicely done. I do have some captures of Clydes? ole west Dallas home as well as the Barrow's Service Station.. As well as Hargrave's Cafe, before they were stupid enough to paint the building all black.. Idiots.. LOL

I was surprised at how biased the reporter was in the funeral footage, especially in the footage of Bonnie's funeral. He crucified her even though countless reports stated that she never committed any crime. She just went along with Clyde because she loved him.

Bonnie was not so innocent. When she couldn’t find work she was a prostitute. She was a heavy drinker and stayed drunk a majority of the time. She was a loud drunk and when she died she had syphilis. It was very well know that she gave most of the Barrow gang syphilis. It was even said that she gave Ivy, the guy that set them up , syphilis also. Clyde was aware of some of it and hated that she would do this when he was asleep and stayed up drinking with the gang. My great grandmother was a seamstress and loaned Cummie the dress that she wore to Clyde’s funeral. My great aunt said that my great grandmother was mad because when she did eventually get it back it smelled and was filthy. She also said that when she fit the dress on her she had holes in her underwear. When she got it she just looked it over and threw it in the garbage.
