I absolutely love Tim’s enthusiasm for space! As someone who has a PhD in astrophysics this warms my heart to see how enthusiastic he is!! I’ve been to KSC twice and I’m so glad that you point out things like the Apollo 1 tribute, I didn’t know it was there so it will be a must do next year when I return!
Seeing the The Columbia memorial made me emotional. I’ll never forget seeing it break apart in the sky from my backyard in Texas as a teenager. They found the wreckage and remains not far from my home. Such a tragedy.
Man, those fricking memorials cause a chill down my spine, a conflicted feeling of horror and grief. One of the fallen astronauts, the teacher, taught at the school in the city (Concord) that is like 15-20 minutes from where I live. I remember learning that from one of New Hampshire Chronicle's programs, and I recall sobbing through most of the viewing.
It kinda make me laugh a little bit the fact that Tim was speaking about the Apollo 1 Mission and he was very thrilled saying a lot of stuff and then he came with: IS TIME TO EAT!!!!
We love the Kennedy Space Center. It’s 4 miles from our house. We found an old 8mm movie at a local estate sale with a Saturn V roll out from the VAB and launch. We had it converted to digital video. I have it posted here on our channel for anyone to enjoy. It’s titled “Florida Roll No. 1”. It was filmed starting in 1969. Thanks Tim for visiting our area. The Spacecoast is a wonderful place to live. ❤️
I LOVE when you do Kennedy Space Center videos. When I was a kid I got to go on a field trip here and sleep under the Saturn V rocket so these videos always bring me so much nostalgia :) And Tim is always so knowledgeable!
We went there a couple of years ago when we were visiting from the UK. You're absolutely spot on when you said that it's an amazing day out. Seeing an actual space shuttle is a really surreal experience that everyone that goes to Florida should visit. Great video again by the way Tim.
*_"One small step, one big bite for mankind."_* BTW seeing the pieces of Challenger made me cry a little bit, I remember seeing it on TV back 1986. Then in 2001 when the Twin Towers fell, same sad feelings and sad days in our American history, but we have learned and gained a vast amount knowledge since then.
We were on holiday in Florida in 1998 and were lucky enough to see a shuttle launch, it was the Discovery. It’s a horrible long wait in mad temperatures (esp for a Scottish lass) and it’s all over in a few minutes but I so would do it again as the experience is amazing 🚀
Awesome video Tim, love seeing this stuff, think when we fly out in July we'll have to put a day aside for this, think you missed a trick when seeing the Saturn 5 rocket though, if you go again try playing Inspiral Carpets - Saturn 5 while walking round.
This is my favorite “nerdy” thing. I love everything space! 🖖🏼 I live near Houston and have been to the Johnson Space Center many times (really cool. Also definitely worth a visit if you’re ever out here). Can’t wait to add the Kennedy Space center to my next FL visit! 🚀
This was one of my favorite videos you guys have done recently. We are definitely going to try to fit that into a future vacation. I loved how reverent Tim was to the tragedies that have occured, and yet also gave joy to the successes. This was a great video. As I was watching this I couldn't help thinking that Tim would make an amazing video about the Flight 93 memorial. I know it's a departure of what you guys do, but it is so well done and just a place that any American will be moved by. I just think that you guys would give it justice.
I went here on a school field trip in 5th grade, I’m 26 now and I have to say this was the coolest thing I ever went to in my 12 years of grade school. Love to relive that watching this 💕
I absolutely love seeing other parts of Florida and other attractions. This was super interesting and something really cool that I likely wouldn't have gotten see so up close and in detail otherwise. Thanks for this! And thanks for the Space Center for having you, super cool that so many places are wanting you guys to come out now!
I love that so many places there are having new, or expanded, "food festivals" - gives you c chance to graze around, and try so many new/cool things, and I love seeing the creativity. Wish more of this was gong on when I was coming down annually. Never been to the Space Center, but I'd love to go someday, and thank them for having you out, and you for sharing that with us! I did get excited when I saw the Center from a long way away when I went on my only Disney Cruise many years ago. Very sobering memorial to those 3 gentlemen who lost their lives in pursuit of a huge future for all mankind - I felt the gravity of it (no pun intended, seriously!) of seeing that from here. RIP to all those memorialized here, including Challenger and Columbia, and thank you for our unfortunate sacrifices. I still continue to be shocked, and saddened, at the price of things - everywhere, but yes, especially in a high tourist area. I would also put my pickles ON my BBQ sandwich, Tim - I always do that - to get that incorporated taste and experience of it cutting the richness of whatever meat and/or sauce. Socially distanced hugs from New Jersey to the 3 of you. Stay safe, stay positive, stay healthy!!
This was a fantastic video... i was having a really terrible day and this popped up on my youtube when I was taking a break and man that made my day so much better. What a great video and so much information and enthusiasm. I cannot wait to go back to Kennedy Space Center Visitors complex.
Wow they've definitely added a lot since the last time we were there. Pretty amazing! I would love to go back there. When we were there last the shuttle Endeavor was on the launchpad ready for launch a couple of days later. We got to see it from an indoor observation area far away. I zoomed in with my camera and was able to see the rocket boosters and fuel tank. It was pretty cool! Definitely a must do! Huge hugs and love to you guys xoxo
I grew up on the Space Coast. I love KSC. It wasn't as cool in the 80's as it is today, but it was still pretty great. My BFF works for NASA, and her brother was one of their photographers during the height of the Shuttle program. Thanks Tim. Love it. 🚀
Thank you, I absolutely loved this. I last went here in 1988 and I was fascinated then and I am even more so now! When I visit Florida again I am definitely going back
Thank you for showing the Kennedy Space Center. I did not know that it had so much to visit and do. Our family will need to plan a trip there. Thank you.
The first time I got to go see the Atlantis exhibit I actually cried. I grew up in Central Florida watching every launch I could, learning everything I could. And just like Tim said this thing was actually IN SPACE! It went places almost everyone will never get to go! It's just so special. KSC doesn't get enough attention, it is just so cool to expereince. I also really miss those sonic booms.
I was sitting in the Polynesian pool when the last shuttle was launched. Even from that distance it was so phenomenal. I just floated in the water watching it until I couldn't see it anymore. It was so thrilling and, yet, sad at the same time since it was the last time.
Best tour I ever had at NASA was with my Grandpa. He worked there for years and had the best stories. He also took me to Houston and told me more stories. Amazing memories with one of my favorite people
We had the absolute joy of experiencing a night launch when we went to Florida about 20 plus years ago...can actually say that it was the best moment of the holiday. When my dad picked us up from Gatwick Airport he asked us if we saw the launch on the television, when we said we witnessed it live, he nearly crashed the car - he was stunned (and jealous!).....
Thank you for showing this! NASA is my favourite place in Florida (I am a Space nerd...and used to want to work there.) Your videos allow me to see my favourite places even when I live in Scotland. Although it is still so overwhelming to see the dedication for the Apollo 1 astronauts. We were lucky enough to see the Endevor Shuttle take off from the family area (due to it being cancelled due to thunderstorms so many times.) Thank you for sharing!!
Been there a couple of times but there are some new things to see. Great video with lots of detailed info Tim. Good to see you enjoying Kennedy Space Center and also eating some nice food!
It's been quite a while since we've been to KSC. We definitely need to go back. The pin looks really cool, but unfortunately, we won't be able to make it there to try the food before the Taste of Space thing goes away.
Thanks for this Tim. Love your enthusiasm. We’ve visited Kennedy Space Cana number of times, but the last time we went was with our young grandchildren. They had a moon rock on display where you could reach in and actually touch it. I have pictures of all of us doing that. Great memories.
It was a genius move to get Tim to come there. I was unaware how amazing this place is, and now I am seriously considering how to add a trip there to my next Florida vacation:)
We’ve been lucky enough to visit the Kennedy Space Centre a couple of times & even more fortunate was that we saw a night launch 🚀 back in 2000 & a rocket launch in August 2019!! It’s such an awe inspiring place ❤️ xx
I had the privilege of seeing a launch in the early 70's. We were at Disney and I am so glad my mother took us to see the launch. Such a moving & powerful moment to witness. I don't remember there being any of the interesting attractions shown in this video at the time we went but I would definitely love to go back and see all of it. Thank you for such an interesting and informative video. Great content and your enthusiasm for everything there made for fun watching.
Wow thanks Tim, that was so interesting. Really enjoyed this video. I love anything to do with space exploration. Hopefully one day I can visit for myself.
I was lucky enough to be on Disney World trip in December 2001 and saw the launch of the Endeavour shuttle from the bridge at Titusville. One of my most amazing memories!
Great Vlog Tim, it bought back my memories off my trip in2019 . I have been fortunate to go to all shuttle displays in the USA ( no very easy living in Australia, and has taken many trips over 7 years) . This is the BEST display of all . From the reveal to the walk around it is amazing . Thanks for letting me revisit KSC
I grew up in Florida, got to stay home from school to watch man walking on the moon. Gone on field trips to Kennedy space center. We can see from my home when they had launches. Was extremely exciting growing up with NASA
As you suggested Tim & with living in the UK, we’ve been to Florida 4 times since 2008 & every time we’ve been, we’ve always visited the Kennedy Space Centre. It’s such a great day out & we always have a great time. The Atlantis unveil is absolutely brilliant & the first time I saw I had a lump in my throat. Looking forward to the next visit in a couple of years hopefully! 🤞🏻
We went to nasa when we did our disney cruise. I didn't think it was going to be as fun as it was. Some pretty amazing things there and we couldn't finish it in a day. We did the bus tour that was fun and informative
Can’t wait to return from Scotland now that transatlantic travels beginning to re-open. Thanks for the Kennedy visit. One of our firm favourites. Always found the food here to be amongst the best when compared with the main Orlando parks. Love the regular clips Tim and Jen, keep up the fabulous work.
I see in this Apollo 1 section one of the astronauts was named Edward H. White and my high school was named after him. We were the "commanders". What a very interesting segment. Thanks for sharing Tim.
I love Kennedy Space Center!!! Glad you had a wonderful time and the reveal for Atlantis made me tear up the first time I got to see it. Always, I agree that people should see the memorial for the lives lost. There are a few spots around the complex that act as memorials.
I toured the VAB when it was opened for a short time. The Saturn V Museum used to be the private viewing area for the Space Shuttle families. I really really recommend the NASA History tour it’s GREAT.
This reminded me of my first visit to the KSC visitor center in summer of 1984. I got to see Discovery before it's first flight in space. I also got to see a night launch of Columbia in 1999; very impressive. And yes, to better taste certain aspects of my food, I do sometimes turn it upside down before biting into it.
Hey Y'all 👋👋👋 I'm excited for today's video ! I had been talking about going here next trip because I haven't been there for years !Thanks for the content friends ❤ Remember, YOU ALL ARE SO LOVED and keep up all the hard work! Oh and Hey Sweet Jackson I hope your trip was awesome to Disneyland and I can't wait to see all the videos 😊 ☝👍💖💜
The Apollo One tribute brought back memories. It was the US Space Program's first fatal incident. I was in 5th grade when it happened. We knew the Astronauts' names, some from previous Mercury and Gemini Missions, especially Gus Grissom. It was a heartbreaking incident. To visualize how massive the Saturn V Rocket really is, just imagine it as a 36 story tall Skyscraper!!! Picture that being launched!!!
My wife and I visited back in 2018 I think when yourself and Jenn went over to Japan I think . we enjoyed our time when we went there , we got to see everything they had to offer
My parents and I actually went to Kennedy Space Center back in March 1989 after disembarking our very first cruise at Port Canaveral. It really is both a historic and very underestimated attraction!
Kennedy Space Center was by far my favorite place in the Orlando vicinity. People need to take the drive out there if they are visiting Orlando. So much to see and learn. My boys loved it too.
One more thing you guys have a big heart and our family orientated which a lot of people should do that ignore the bad and keep going you guys are the best love you God bless you always
We are cracking up! As Tim eats and describes the food, the reflection in his glasses makes it look like there is an alien sitting across from him😂. Also, we do not flip our food around to try other sides but “you do you”😊. Thank you for sharing this video. We were there in 1996 and seeing this makes me want to go back.
I absolutely love Tim’s enthusiasm for space! As someone who has a PhD in astrophysics this warms my heart to see how enthusiastic he is!!

That was absolutely fascinating ! Had no idea they had a museum there! The food looked great! Love your enthusiasm!!!
Wow this was so interesting and I appreciate how reverent you were when showing the tribute to the Apollo 1 and Challenger astronauts. Beautiful ❤️

I get the CHILLS everytime I watch the Atlantis reveal. No matter how many times I see a video of it.
Something about space stuff always makes me get so teary-eyed.
We were lucky enough to see a rocket launch the one time we visited the Kennedy centre back in 2001,.it was amaziing.Great video
Thank you for showing the Challenger and Columbia. It makes me sad but I appreciate that they honor the astronauts in a respectful way.
I LOVE when you do Kennedy Space Center videos. When I was a kid I got to go on a field trip here and sleep under the Saturn V rocket so these videos always bring me so much nostalgia :) And Tim is always so knowledgeable!

Tim! The vibrating windows! Brilliant! Thank you for showing that! I had chills! 😄
Thank you so much for sharing what the Space Center had to offer fantastic 😀 😊 😄
Another exceptional video Tim, love the Kennedy Space Center, 1 of the 1st places I ever visited on 1 of my many holidays to the USA.🇺🇸👍😎
I'm amused that you can make a food segment at KSC/NASA. 🙃 👍🙃
As Florida kids, we are very privileged with our field trips (Disney, sea world…etc) but Kennedy Space center was ALWAYS my favorite!

Wow.... that challenger and Columbia exhibit....
I live in Melbourne and was fortunate enough to see the launch at night with the first civilians on board. It was spectacular.
It's been quite a while since we've been to KSC. We definitely need to go back. The pin looks really cool, but unfortunately, we won't be able to make it there to try the food before the Taste of Space thing goes away.

It was a genius move to get Tim to come there. I was unaware how amazing this place is, and now I am seriously considering how to add a trip there to my next Florida vacation:)
Great vlog! We’re planning to visit the space center in February and this is so helpful for planning!

I love the Space Centre. That turkey and Brie sandwich looks amazing
This is a great trip break from Disney for a day. We love Kennedy!!!!
I will admit that how you described the Apollo 1 and Challenger/Columbia remembrance exhibits made me cry 😭. 💜
Never been so excited about a video before! I’m here for the foodie/nerdy crossover.
When you're eating the slider the reflection of the tripod on your glasses looks like a little alien filming you, spooky 😳😂👍
We went to nasa when we did our disney cruise. I didn't think it was going to be as fun as it was. Some pretty amazing things there and we couldn't finish it in a day. We did the bus tour that was fun and informative
Thanks for the Kennedy Centre videos. Of all my tips to Florida, I’ve never been. I’ve been missing out. It’s on the list for next time.
Thank you for this video. We were lucky enough to visit Kennedy twice. Absolutely amazing place. I cried when Atlantis was revealed.
You weren’t the only one . I visited in 2019 . Even thi Vlog got the waterworks going again
The best reveal I have ever seen of Atlantis it sent shivers down my spine it had the WOW factor and some
Good stuff. Looks much better than your last visit.
Live right down the road and never think of going. Thanks to you this needs to change!
This is a great video!! So much as changed since I’ve been there

Yes, I turn the sandwiches all the time to get the different taste. Thanks for this review!

After this great, emotional tour I definitely will schedule a trip there the next time we drive to Florida. Thanks Tim! Awesome vlog!
This place is great. A must visit if you’re vacaying in the Orlando area even if you’re not interested in space.
I have been there before it's awesome that slide is so much fun I can see Jackson laughing the whole way down of course riding with Jen or Tim
I remember always going to Ron Jon’s at cocoa beach whenever we would go to Kennedy on Holiday as a kid !
I think the word you were looking for to describe the brie cheese was "sharp"! :)
Kennedy Space Center was by far my favorite place in the Orlando vicinity. People need to take the drive out there if they are visiting Orlando. So much to see and learn. My boys loved it too.

Thank you Tim for giving the amazing Kennedy Space Center the appreciation and love it deserves!
The Atlantis reveal took my breath away the first time I saw it.
This was my dream come true when I visited Florida…..I loved every second of my visit! 🧡💚🇬🇧
AMAZING vlog!!! I found it very moving!!! Thanks Tim & Jen!!!
Great review !! Enjoyed every last bite !!
What an amazing video. Next time we’re in Florida we’re definitely gonna go to the Kennedy Space Center.
I love Kennedy Space Center! Glad they have these fun food options for now! such an interesting place to spend some time 💕
