As a somewhat struggling self-taught piano player, your words of wisdom mean so much to me in terms of how I should be learning and picking things up. Thank you.
To be honest May God give you all that you need in life✊🏾✊🏾thanks so much for being humble to share us your piano skills, you take me to another level of musician🙏🙏
Thank u very much for the advice brother. I have been learning piano for a year and a half. Fir some reason or another I have picked it up quick. To the point not only have I learned lots of songs, but I have wrote over 50 songs. Recently I have wondered how I can remember all the songs I have learned and wrote. To the point I worried. Great video .

00;08:28 --- "....everything I play I can't explain...." Here's what I can tell you from 61 years of experience........... I know several people personally who CAN explain everything they, and you, play. ....to the point where I'm falling asleep. And here's what's important. These people lost their ability to swing decades ago. And that's the crime. Endless studying about Bach's thoughts on the "Illegal movement of the nonparallel tritone mixing of modal movement with illicit 13ths modulating to harmonic aggravated 3rds on alternating Wednesdays" has robbed them of any ability to just PLAY THE DAMN MUSIC. And that, youngster, is the name of the game. My Father, who taught me this stuff, had been known to say "If it sounds right, it IS right". Considering that he was, among other accomplishments, Paul Whiteman's music director, he knew his stuff. So good for you that you don't try to explain everything you play. Just let your fingers do the walking, play from your heart and enjoy the music. Excellent presentation, by the way. Bill P.
I could be mistaken but you said 7-3-6 in Ab is Bb, Eb, Ab. Well if we’re in Ab, wouldn’t Ab be the 1? And the 7 would be Gb and the 6 be E? Time stamp at 4:30
After further review, I’m seeing that you’re building a dim7 from the 1 in the right hand going down while playing a 2-5-1 in the minor key, while the 3rd chord in the right hand is a maj7 thus making the overall chord a min9. Really great tutorial btw! Keep ‘em coming! 🙏🏾🎹
Ive been told that drop 2's should be played 2 in left and 2 in right hand but I find it easier to play 1 note in left and 3 in right. What are your thoughts?

Nah bro….I understand everything….🙏🏾 I just need help with placement because I hear what your doing all I need is to learn the placement.
Great information, I have a question. That mic you're using, is that a good mic to record vocals?
Here’s the mic I’m using that’s built for podcast but imo it’s great for vocals also! amzn.to/3yPHd1K

I missed that in editing, my fault! It’s actually a minor 2-5-1 if Ab is the 1! I meant to say a 7-3-6 in B!
Thanks for the correction! 🤭😬
i was witcha right up til 2:27 .. then all hope went out the window
😂
Can you play it on c# pls🥺🥺🙏
this is pretty hard to understand the 1-3-5 stuff i just know basic chords but i want to know how the people play and switch between scales
Things will be easier to understand once you learn it first!
