Without long fingers alot of people won't be able to do the base notes in left hand "C & E" i thought i had long fingers until i found myself only being able to grab the very tip of both keys lol. Great video non the less & thank god for alternatives like Root note position which may not sound as full or phat so to speak.

Hi Sarah!!! Oh yes… That’s perfectly fine. All inversions work, but I decided to keep it in root position for the absolute beginner. I think inversions make it sound more cohesive and ties the chords together rather than jumping around… but then again, I have a heart for beginners… Much love ☀️💚🥰
Hello KC! I enjoy your lessons a lot. I was wondering though... I have the Midiculous app and I use it for my piano lessons, mostly the online ones and some video tutorials. In my layout, I use an overhead camera above my Midiculous Keyz so students can see both my hand positions and exactly what keys I am playing, but I would rather have both at the same time (like you are doing right now!) Is this something that you edit in a video software ?(how you keep your hands visible, or the piano has a chroma key color?) Is it something I can use in a live class for example? I would really like to know! Its really smooth!
@@prettysimplemusic oh nice there's another youtube channel I watch called guy michelmore, he's a tv and film composer, he normally has the most expensive piano keyboards, but he got one of them about a year ago and has stuck with it ever since, he normally used to get a new different make of piano keyboard every 6 months, so because hes stuck with this one for a while, I knew these must be good, when looking up on them I couldn't believe how cheap they are, there like 350 quid, I really want to get one of these. I love companies that create great products at a reasonable price, I couldn't believe the quality and how much kit you get for that price, this is definitely on my next purchase list, thanks for the reply, your channels amazing, everytime I watch one of your vids it's so inspiring, its just amazing, looking forward to the next one.
