Maybe in 2019 yes, but I'm not sure either Chance or Movies from Weyes Blood will be the best song in 2019. Both are levitating my soul

They're amazing, although in this particular case I find the vocals a little low in the mix. The rest sounds absolutely perfect though.
they play too clean, professionalisms at its highest. The engineer just put a fine touch, highly appreciated anyway.

Her voice on Chance is utterly heartbreaking.
YES! While there are many singers who are technically stronger than Angel, she is a master of using her voice for optimal emotional effect.
Spring is extremely underrated. It surely does give you a melancholy longing feeling and somewhat feels very fit for Christmas. I’m sure going to add this to my playlist with River by Joni Mitchell.
Blue Coupe by Twin Peaks also gives me a similar vibe

I’m back here just to watch the magnificent performance of “Chance” so that I can cry again
I was just listening to Sparklehorse on RUclips while washing dishes. The Sparklehorse album ended but I couldn't switch to the next album because of soapy hands and suddenly this came on. I have never heard of her but I just let it keep playing because it sounded intriguing. Completely blown away by this performance!!!
By the end of the last song I was a big fan. In fact, as soon as her performance ended I hit the replay button and am listening to it again. Definitely going have to listen to her entire discography now

Something I like so much about her live performances is the visual aesthetic. The all black down to the instruments works so well in the KEXP room

Angel is definitely aptly named. I love her so much. Shout out to Danny Brown, of all people, for putting Angel Olsen on my radar. This is sublime.
When did Danny bring up Angel Olsen? I don’t doubt that he listens to her but it seems so weird he’d bring up her music haha
@@hendrystevo actually, it was Angel who brought up Danny on Twitter. But, Danny QTed her, and that is how I saw the interaction. I believe it was in 2019. Angel and Danny were releasing albums on the same day, so she congratulated him, and said they should collaborate one day. Danny said ”All Mirrors" was a beautiful album, and to let him know when she wanted to collaborate because he was down. As of yet, no collab between Angel and Danny, though. 😀
@@mlr0115 that’s insane wow. I genuinely would kill for a collab between the two of them just to see what it would sound like. I feel like Danny could get Angel on a hook of a song or something along those lines anyways. Would be interesting!
@@hendrystevoit would definitely be interesting. Angel Olsen on the hook of a Danny Brown track would be phenomenal, I think. Or, anything else they could think of. I mean, who knows, maybe Angel has bars. They could do a rap album together. Just kidding, but one never knows. 😂

So gorgeous, she is such an excellent writer, lyricist, and singer, the whole luscious package! I'm so glad she's out on her own and not only doing the vital work of a backup vocalist. Its lovely to hear her angelic voice in the forefront. Love her and her fellow musicians are stunning, the strings on All mirrors, are insane timeliness in the ear!!! It's angelic.
That performance of Lark is just...wow.

All Mirrors was not my favourite Angel Olsen Album but on the strength of this I will have to give it another try. Wonderful performance.

More money and production than the old stuff, but she’s kept all the heart and emotion of her previous work. I love it all with all my heart.
The anti sell out, she’s done so many different sounds and Genres but it always sounds like Angel Olsen, no ordinary feat.
