    At the end you stated Unfortunately one of the pieces is composed of 4 parts, but I think it gives it a lot more depth. Up close and from a distance it looks very intricate. Awesome cutting board and thank you for the tutorial.

    i am timber floor layer, sander and polyurethane finisher. live in new zealand from croatia originaly. i have a lot of left over timbers some exotick ones. you give me so many ideas because i love working with wood. spasiba

      Thank you. This is the complicated end grain cutting board I've ever made. And it's large. It is very difficult to make such a cutting board using a traditional method (gluing hexagons).

    This is much more efficient than other methods I've seen. I wish I had that kind of equipment. :(

      This method allows to make large cutting boards. And no gaps.

    That is the most beautiful cutting board I have ever seen, too good to really use in the kitchen. I would love to have a go at making one but fear it is beyond my capabilities. :-(
