My trailblazer has a pair of bose subs in the front doors, designed just like these and heavily considering them. I would definitely feed them rated rms power AND use foam baffles/buckets if I went this way. I just cant tell if Its worth going this route , or simply just get a traditional Sub box/amp in the back. Any thoughts?
The sub box in the back will be the best at cresting that low down bass you want. HOWEVER, it comes at the cost of the space it takes up. A “truck box” with a 12” sub is quite narrow in depth and can take up minimal space against the back seat ( or alternatively, mount it length wise if you frequently carry long items that require you to drop the back seats).
@@turbospool TY much, think im gonna try the slim earthquakes, if it aint enough, theyll go on normal bass duty with a box out back doing the heavy lifting. Cheers!
Thanks for the video I went ahead and ordered these to add to the focal replacements in door and dash paired with an audison AP8.9 amp(all plug and play). I give an update after install
Put these in my E64. Complete different set up. Now my entire back side panels rattle like the speakers are blown. The speakers rub against the panels bc you cant use the "horn" surrounding the factory sub. It is just a hassle. Under the seat, these work. Convertible models like mine? Just don't. Zero vids or instructions or help on the Convertibles. 😂 now i see why.
@@turbospool I’ve been checking out more of your videos and nice to see that you have bimmerhaus intake- I have yet to install one on mine and definitely love to hear some feedback… I’m also planning to install the earthquakes 🤙🏼
@@stevelibby3 I love my intake! Grant Johnson and I were the testers of the first prototypes. The dyno numbers he posts are from my car lol. Im still very happy with it. You’ll enjoy it! And also the subs!
@@C63V8 i wasn’t clear what you were asking. Yes, this is a pair, one under each front seat. Same process for both sides. Hope that answers your question
My life would be less expensive if I stopped watching YT. Nice video though.
I 100 percent feel your pain on that! 😂
did you do the 2 ohm models or the 4 ohm? my F34 has the HK system in it now and both factory subs are clappin cheeks
Oh nooo! Lol. These that I picked up are the 2 ohm versions

Are these the 2ohm or 4ohm models? Going to order a set just wanted to know which would sound better with my HK system
These -XI are 2Ohm. I THINK the non-XI are 4Ohm
do you have standard hifi or top-hifi(harmon kardon) sound?
Option S677, “Top HiFi with Professional DSP”
Do you think these or the Harmon subwoofers would sound better?
good question, but I would not know as I've never sat in an F10 with the HK system
@@turbospool @yungtuckgetbusy S677 is HK, before FL they didn't add stickers to the speakers and it was named Logic 7, which is what you have.

Awesome!! Sounds like it’s going to be a great setup. Enjoy it!
