@@ZplexSlays I doubt it, if you have a 401A loaded premium it’s the same thing as a CS without the decals. The PP1 will stop better cause of the Brembo’s and the rotors but they should be the same accelerating as long as it’s a Premium PP1. The CS also gets 3.55’s instead of the 3.15’s the regular premiums get which actually makes a noticeable difference off the line.
The GT/CS is essentially an appearance package. Reminds me of the Chevy Monte Carlo Dale Earnhardt Edition where they made plenty of visual changes, but didn't modify any performance components.
@@kjstars No, the Mach 1 has 480 HP, stock GT's have 465. The mach 1 has lots of different performance changes over the GT, for example it comes with a 6 speed tremec trans instead of the mt82 i think
I’ve always liked the California GT package Nice subtle appearance upgrades. I had a 2011 GT/CS and loved it Wish I never got rid of it. Hard to believe an almost 50k car has those dingy map light bulbs. Replaced those with leds on my 2017 GT and the top of the doors should be soft touch instead of hard plastic but looks and performance is awesome, I normally would do a catback first on my list but this would only need a resonator delete and it would sound awesome. Planning on the another California Special in the next couple years, idk if it’s worth the extra coin for the 18-21 ones versus an 11-14 California. Sweet ride, just need some slight lowering and it will be just about perfect
The Mustang GT would also be nice as a two-seater sports car like the Corvette and the Nissan Z. The rear seats are basically uninhabitable and this would give more rear storage space.
They put backseats in the car for insurance purposes. It lowers the insurance and makes it listed as a Grand Tourer 2+2. If they deleted the back seats, it out raise your rates even more. You can get the shelves or luggage storage that the GT350 and GT500 have. Lots of people just take the backseats out and put simple carpet down.
Checking one of these out tomorrow with 8k miles, I really like how it just looks that little bit more aggressive than a standard GT. If I get it, it's going right into the shop for a supercharger install lol.

My 2021 Mustang GT premium was a big lemon. I could live with the cheap plastic interior and glitchy electronics but the 6 speed manual transmission was just garbage! I'm not the only one who thinks so, look at the class action that has been launched against Ford. Fortunately I was able to sell it and buy a real car from another manufacturer. It's no wonder Ford stopped building cars...I'll never buy another Ford...EVER!
GT/CS is a great package if you just wanna cruise around and enjoy the car. Heritage, comfort, and still can outrun most cars today.

interesting my 2021 CS GT's centre gauge cluster does not look like this. It has regular speedometer and rpm with a digital centre piece with modes.
