Love the Mustang. Most consumers are average drivers, we will never see a race track, and never drive a car to its handling limits. We cruise at 60, 80 maybe a 100. Now and again we accelerate on the highway to pass all the double cabs that hog the right hand lane. And for us the Mustang is perfect.
I once bought a brand new car for no reason other than, I simply had to have it, irrespective of whether or not it "disintegrates" within the first couple of years. That was 17 years ago, still have it, and love it even more. Never expected to hear words such as these from a renowned journalist. Praising a car that (and this, to me, is the most important aspect) speaks to your soul, rather than the bean counter or the perfectionist in you. Love the car (love all Mustangs, for that matter). Love the review. Refreshing to hear someone so knowledgeable be swayed by the same values.
A small note on the 10speed box , there are actually 3 models of that box built , the one for the 2.3 ecoboost (which you get in the 2.0 biturbo Raptor) the one for the Cyote v8 and also the 3.5 v6 ecoboost , then there is the one built for the 7.3 Godzilla petrol engine and the 6.7 l diesel PowerStroke , which puts out 1300nm of torque . Each of these gearboxes , stripped apart , are all the same bar one thing , the size and thickness of the internals . So , before you sprout about all the boxes being the same , they are not really !
I have the Bullitt. Have had it from new. It’s a manual 6 speed. I daily it. It’s brilliant. I’ve done 60,000km and it average consumption has been 10,6 l/100km. It’s all that you say and more. I love it.
Great review, guys. I concur with Ashley on this one, but I do grasp where Ciro is coming from. It's one of those cars you acquire for its charm, not for its speed. After all, almost any hatchback with more than 230kw can outperform or at least keep up with a V8 5.0 Mustang. However, as you mentioned, it possesses a unique character and sounds great, which explains its popularity. Although I'm generally not a fan of Ford vehicles, I must commend Ford for producing cars like these that appeal to car enthusiasts, including the Raptor, which is an exciting option. We should all unite and celebrate ICE performance cars, irrespective of the brand, because soon enough, a granny in a fully electric MG MPV will be quicker!
I love Mustangs sorry guys. My Wild Galloping Horse 🐎 what a sign of freedom 🙌 Currently I'm DREAMING of it, I SEARCH for it I will soon DRIVE IT, See what I did there 😉
Shucks, you dont realise how beautiful our country is until you see it on camera... so strange. So true.. Jeremy was a genius to say that. "Foybles", lol I must agree.. the design is timeless.. just not mad about the front... doesnt look "muscley" enough 🤣 Such a good comparison between the architect and rockstar!
I got a 2010 Jag XKR (spotted on your website) for less money than a Polo GTI. Supercharger makes up for the altitude here on the Reef. But like the Mustang it's not about being the sharpest tool, but covering a huge amount of distance in great comfort. The exhaust is fruity but not obnoxious.
Perfectly put Ciro. This review ended at 7 minutes of the video. Dinasaur! In a world of DCT's and compactly packed with turbos, which also offer great sounds comparable to this uneconomical 5.0
I love the engine, the tailpipe sound... I am just indifferent on the aesthetics. Aesthetically it is too nostalgic fo me. Otherwise it is a characterful car with a beautiful engine!!!
Hey Ciro... What about the Boot Space test and how do you fit into the rear seat bro??? LOL. Loved the review and the car, for all the same ridiculous reasons. Thank you.
I love these cars but I agree with Ashley. It attracts a certain type of person, who shall we say, disturbs the peace. I honestly think these cars have pedestrian detectors coz it seems every single mustang driver wants to sneak up behind them and then give a rev to burst some ear drums.
That's weird about the 10 speed gearbox problem. Maybe its a software problem but that in itself is weird because VW got into bed with Ford for exactly that, the superior software.
Ive noticed how the cars being advertised and shown to the consumer is the highest spec and the base price, most of the time the base car is terrible to drive
This is the the last of a dying breed. To anyone who purchases this car they will have a collector's item on their hands because their electric replacements are either buggy, underwhelming or both.
That awfull Ford 10 speed box, is the reason I now drive hilux and not Ranger. Also now class action lawsuit against Ford for that awfull 10speed. Its the worst gearbox ever.
I love your reviews normally, but to refer to Jeremy Clarkson as "our lord and Saviour".... so out of tune,....and soooo far from the truth! perhaps even the opposite of what you said

Handling limits come up very fast😂
Nice comment Zander 👍🏼

Love the Mustang, the best car Ford ever built, it is everything that you mentioned, but it is an icon and always want one!
Ciro you are simply the best...right up there with Catchpole ...and Ashley is great too + you two synergise so well...

8:03 "crowd get out the way" had me in tears 😭😭😭
When Ciro leaves 🤣🤣🤣🤣 killer scene

Ciro is dying of jealousy! Wishing you many happy miles

It's a mustang it's not about the Dynamics or speed but about that V8 engine and it's heritage
Bro what is this production value. My eyes were treated with that intro ❤❤😮🥰
Great to hear, thank you 🙏
3:24 "Our Lord and savior Jeremy Clarkson"🤣That is a good line
I always loved this car. I will have one one day.
South Africa is beautiful im a die heart mustang fun but the scenery is out this world
I love Mustangs sorry guys. My Wild Galloping Horse 🐎 what a sign of freedom 🙌 Currently I'm DREAMING of it, I SEARCH for it I will soon DRIVE IT, See what I did there 😉

We are so glad you enjoyed the video. We love showing off our country :)
"our Lord and Saviour Jeremy Clarkson" favourite quote of this clip

Love me one of those. 👌
That sound it makes 😍
"Our Lord and saviour Jermey Clarskson" 🤣🤣🤣
Mustang ALL DAY long!! I would buy this after the 1969 fastback.
This reminds me of that Clarkson review of the V12 Vantage from a few years ago. He said so much by saying nothing.
The Mustang is not outstanding, but it absolutely stands out, if you know what I mean 👌🏾
we own a 2012 6.0 v8 Lumina and we love the car
the three of you should do a proper car show together. I'd watch that for sure
This us so great to hear, thank you. We're cooking something up :)
Definitely love the Mustang
I would not mind having this car in my garage….🎉
Take a shot every time Ciro says "Antithesis" 🤣🤣🤣
Great production ,great quality…keep this up n this will be the best car review channel in the international
Thank you! We hope you will enjoy our back catalogue of films, we have over 800 videos on the channel. Thanks for your support ☺️
You got me looking at Mustangs on your app now 😁. Mmm, maybe for xmass? From me to me👊
Ashley is right especially about the interior. However, Tupperware is better quality than the Ford Mustang interior quality.
Perfectly put Ciro. This review ended at 7 minutes of the video. Dinasaur! In a world of DCT's and compactly packed with turbos, which also offer great sounds comparable to this uneconomical 5.0
I'm with Ash on this one but I love the car
The new Raptor also has quite a deep voice and I like it, sorry Ash. 😆
I owned a Shelby converted Mustang. It was mean and loud. I traded it in for a BMW First Edition M850i. I’m still kicking myself.
I'd have the Bullitt Mustang just for that green hue
I'd have it for the tremec gearbox.
Really enjoyed this video 🤣🤣
So glad! Thank you!
Ashley is a GT4 RS kinda guy
“Our Lord and saviour Jeremy Clarkson”❤ best thing I’ve heard this year
"Sports car" doesn't fit. "Muscle car" fits beautifully.
This car's exhaust fumes would NEVER hurt planet earth as much as Lithium mining for battery cars... And it sounds 120% better than a vacuum cleaner.
Great reviewer man amd clearly its effortless for you. Opinions seem trustworthy. 👌🏼
the reason Ash dont like it are the reasons o love it, he just described a perfect muscle car and make me love it even more
Fantastic review guys.
Lovely stuff!
I love the engine, the tailpipe sound... I am just indifferent on the aesthetics. Aesthetically it is too nostalgic fo me. Otherwise it is a characterful car with a beautiful engine!!!
Not a fan of anything from the likes of Ford… but I agree that the Mustang is one of the more engaging cars left on the market.
I'll take the "RIOT" every single time... 👉💪😎😂🤣!!!
"Our lord and savior Jeremy Clarkson"🤣🤣 nailed it!
I love looking at this car but I don't get why the need 5.0 only to produce 330kw
The previous model is more striking though.Great review
Share your feelings on Harleys....hehehe
Mr Oldfield's girlfriend ran away with a Mustang owner. That V8 sound is a sorrowful theme for him...😂😂😂
Hey Ciro... What about the Boot Space test and how do you fit into the rear seat bro??? LOL.
Loved the review and the car, for all the same ridiculous reasons. Thank you.

"our lord and savior" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
16 degrees right now in Melkbostrand, it is mid-summer, do we really need an air-conditioner?
It was extremely hot the day we filmed
Brilliant
That's weird about the 10 speed gearbox problem. Maybe its a software problem but that in itself is weird because VW got into bed with Ford for exactly that, the superior software.
lol the recommendation to not race at redline is accurate
This car has right hand side stearing wheel.
Yes South Africa where we live is a right hand drive market
Key takeaway, as far as I'm concerned, the mustang is...
Antisfissssss
Very simple, really. Some cars are for extroverts, who like attention, and some for introverts, who want to avoid attention.
1.2M?
Bargain
She looks a little like Eleanor.
Just like R1200000 that's all people😅
Beautiful car but that gearbox 🤯 what a piece of rubbish. Just put a VF 8 speed in it Ford!
👨🏿💻🍿
First!
That awfull Ford 10 speed box, is the reason I now drive hilux and not Ranger. Also now class action lawsuit against Ford for that awfull 10speed. Its the worst gearbox ever.
Gimme a 66 not that plastimobile.
Is not make sure..

Just a bit of Ciro sarcasm there, no offence intended :)
Still rubber neck whenever I see a Lumina SS !!!! Dinosaurs for the win!!!!!
the guy at my braai
