the interior trim reminds me of my previous Escape ST_Line with the suede inserts and leather bolsters. I miss those seats much better than all leather which is fine but Id rather have something grip than slide.
I _think_ you don't get the feedback you need from steering could be because this car doesn't have the performance package. Steering is pretty tight in my GT/perf-pack.
Love the videos mate, glad i found you after Pdrive went MIA.....I own a FN mustang GT 5.0 Manual, personally a little disappointed with the 0-100 time.... i guess heavy car would be the main problem, followed by bad diff gear ratios....
Thanks for finding the new channel! Yeah, the manual is a bit tricky to get off the line as you'd know. I did around 10 runs, with some cooling time in between. But this was the best result of the day. You could probably sit there all day and find a slightly quicker time but at the cost of a worn clutch. Still quick in all other areas.
@@drivingenthusiastaustralia i use to get 5.2 in my old ecoboost and was like what the actual hell... and then i watched the GT times and i felt better lol.. When i set my performance coutner to MPH it gave me 4.6 because you can hit 60mph in second gear, but not 62! damn americans. Also that third and 4th gear is hell tall. way too tall. no idea what ford is doing with that. its absolutely crazy. 190 odd in 3rd!
@@drivingenthusiastaustralia True. The MG4 X-Power might be a better option than this Mustang lol. 0-100 in 3.8 seconds (claimed). It could come in around the same price as well.
Well, they have an ANCAP rating of 3 stars... so there's that. Child occupant protection was rated just 32%. ANCAP report: www.ancap.com.au/safety-ratings/ford/mustang/be8eed
Performance testing starts at 18:21
The stock Coyote exhaust is damn near perfect. It sounds incredible.
0-100in 5.4 is amazing too!

@@drivingenthusiastaustraliayour times are fine (spot on what I have experienced) I wouldn’t do any better! Good luck with the channel.

I have a '23 auto with a quicker 0-100 , not as much fun as manual but for inner city driving auto is a must for me
Silly question but can you drop the rear seats down?
No, you can't.
Yes you can, both fold individually
Dont look at the quarter mile time, look at the terminal speed... 😉
Has the power to go much quicker.
Probably a gearing/traction thing.
"not launch control" 😂🤣😂
Just saw the fuel price of $2.38 per litre 😵💫
Yes, it's expensive at the moment 😬

@@mcrotor77 Yes, but it doesn't provide the fun of the V8 sound or the manual transmission 😃

John Cadogan said they are unreliable and poorly built, but the big concern was they are a death trap, especially in the back - is this still true?

My auto full second quicker than that 1/4mile and 0-100 with a 4 in front
The fools at Ford, should have got our local former chassis /suspension gurus to tune the ride. Americans just cannot get this right, unfortunately.
