I've just got the Bookoo scale and Pressure monitor combo and I'm very impressed. Very accurate and I'm definitely going to start pressure profiling on my Rocket Mozza. 👍
I love my Outin Nano with the barista kit! Paired with my J-ultra it’s nuts. Makes such delicious and full bodied shots. Even light roasts are great as long as I pump some hot water through before pulling the shot. Sometimes I prefer it to my Salvatore compact spring lever machine. Thanks for your content!
@@jeremyelliott777 thx for watching. Outin with that big metal baskets perform surprisingly well. Perfect for when I travel. Would be nice if they started selling separate baskets as one is not enough.
Hario Switch is all i need for pour overs, theres a winning recipe for it that uses immersion for the later part of the pour. For the WDT, id use the shaker instead, its a lot cheaper and the distribution is great
@@Cenot4ph Thx for sharing. I haven’t tried Hario S but I have Pulsar and although I see a huge potential, I simply don’t use it that much. I prefer simplicity.
@@woozlebuka thx for watching. Are you talking about Impact tamper? It is definitely one of my favourites but I have the first version, with ripples on the bottom which I don’t like. I am also not a fan of how it looks. Pesado Ad tamper, there is something very appealing about it. I simply like to use it.
@@mycoffeeshow111 yes, the impact tamper. I have a later model with flat bottom. Overall I like it, it is consistent and does its job well. But some don't recommend it because different pucks (volume, roast lvl.?) needs different pressure. So I was curious if you've noticed some kind of difference between shots.
Jack, love you and your channel, my brother in Coffee. Happy Holidays!

Hi Jack, great show as always! How would you compare the Pesado tamper and the new MHW3bomber Yu series tamper?

@ it is simply impossible to tell. I believe that as long as you are consistent and tamping is even, the force itself is not that important
Good jobs
