Many people might not realize that that's why this video was posted. A friend of mine didn't know us left handed people have an international day. She has a son, and now she can celebrate with him.
@@MrsNicolas same in my circle! Being a lefty, I felt better because this whole world is conditioned for right handed people. So many people die because they have to use tools made for right handers.
@@MKD1101 yep, and till this day, certain cultures and countries still force children to conform to being right-handed. In some cultures, being left-handed is so prominent, that they force up to 60% to become right-handed. Smh. We would have a higher amount of left-handed people in the world if these practices weren't happening today.

Would like to see a lot more top level lefties in the top 20. When was the last time there were even 5 or 7 in the top 20?
Well estimates are about 10% of people being lefty so chances are we won't get that many in the top 20.
1977: 5 lefties in top 20: Connors (1), Vilas (2), Orantes, Tanner and Roche. All of them won at least a GS in their career.
1975: 6 lefties on top 20. 1976: 5 lefties on top 20. 1998: 5 lefties on top 20.

Shots like theese decide games 90/100 times you will win when you have your opponent on defence like this the player who can lower that percentage by hitting a spectacular defensive counter puncher will score big points to win matches break their opponent etc.

When you are young and learn Tennis, you learn that you should never give a chance to your adversary. They might pull out their magic hat because that's how Tennis works..

As a Left hander i loved to trick people, it becomes funny at some point because sometimes it's just such an advantage as in many other sports that 85% of other people cant cope with. It's like looking in the mirror and everything is reverse..
