    As a Vietnamese. I’m very proud when you know about Vinfast and come to Vietnam. I was mesmerized by VF9 from the first sight. Btw I live in Vancouver.

    This is the most thorough video yet of Vinfast's manufacturing plant. Regardless of your preference or assessment of how Vinfast EVs meet your preference/expectations, it's hard to argue that Vinfast is serious and willing to spend some serious money on their manufacturing process. I notice the European manufacturing equipment being used are all first rate mfg equipment makers. The integration of these different processes required some major design, testing and final integration before it starts making cars.

    Haven’t heard of Vinfast till now. Amazed by the factory and facility. The estimated range of VF9 is pretty good and hearing you say that it has 3 rows of seats makes it even better for a family person like myself. Very very few EVs in the market now that has 7 seater. Wonder when it will make its way to Singapore market.

    Hey , I tried to ask the same question in other places but could not get an answer. Did you get an explanation on why this car has a transmission tunnel hump in the middle…. While there is no mechanical transmission? All the other dedicated platforms have a flat floor. Also, because we’re in Canada, have you seen a rear window wiper? And last, do you happen to know if the steel is galvanized (The roads are very very salty here in winter… enough to rust any non galvanized steel real quick)

    • @luvtiti
      @luvtiti 2 года назад +1

      Because the models being manufactured at the time of the factory tour are ICE vehicles.

    • @liem107
      @liem107 2 года назад

      @@luvtiti oh I thought the vf 8 was exclusively electric and not a converted ICE platform.

    • @HungPham-hw1eg
      @HungPham-hw1eg Год назад

      The rear wiper is hidden below the brake light. About the humb, I believe they use that tunnel to run the wire as well as thermal management, as seen in some of the clips. Im not sure about the steel tho

    • @HungPham-hw1eg
      @HungPham-hw1eg Год назад

      @@liem107 they do design the vf8 and vf9 to have an ICE model, but it was canceled. So now they use the humb for wiring and thermal control for the batery

    • @liem107
      @liem107 Год назад

      @@HungPham-hw1eg I gathered the same info. The hump is a very unfortunate mistake but it is not the end of the world for me. The main sticking point is now the very poor range despite a huge 88 kwh battery. Considering the currently available road test, the vf 8 has a range far below 400 km which is a shame compared to other platforms at this price range ( ioniq5 and ev6)
