Hey Bitmap congratulations on the board and most importantly the communication with the customer. You killed it! :D I talked to you really early in the build and man you delivered on the quick turnaround. Well done.
Wow. So privileged for you to try the Epsi Mod and giving me that awesome shoutout. Alpine65 looks amazing and I hope to get to try it soon too! You can hit me up on discord, see if we can fix that backspace.
Thanks for watching! Backspace ticking is most likely caused by my incorrect cutting of the deskey piece resulting in it sticking out too far from the stab stem and causing interference with the stab housing, like one of the comments on your guide said. Will definitely look to rectifying this during the rebuild.
@@nearLucid Cutting the Deskey film strips too long is what caused my stabs to originally tick so Epsi suggested cutting them 1/4 of each strip instead. I just slid each stem in the housing to see if it'd rub before I put everything together after.
Dear god, the production value on this video is just outstanding. Better than a commercial, just goes to show how much passion is put into your channel. Props!
Absolutely amazing production video! Amazing content and editting. Unlike others who just uploads their whole 2 - 3 hrs build stream in youtube for views. #Taeha KEKW Alpine65 is an amazing board. I really applaud Bitmap for this run and expecting much more on his next board runs after seeing how Alpine65 end up.
The quality of this video is incredible, and I appreciate the thoroughness of the contents. I will be definitely watching from now on and I'll be excited to see your channel grow!
yeah, it really shows that this stuff can be made a lot faster than people make it out to be. If bitmap can, especially with all those issues they had, then everyone can. I hope this becomes more of the norm.
Really wish I was in the game to get one of these and a Think6.5. Really hope this or the think run again in the future. Prob would go think over this but this is a beautiful board.
@@nearLucid Who is seeling extras of these? When was the GB? Im only been in a few months so trying to ketch up on alll the knowledge. Did order a thermal so hope it doesnt take to long.

Hello! Your stabs sound really nice, I was just wondering how you used krytox and epsi mod together since I thought epsi mod is done without lube, Thanks!
Thanks for watching! Its worth noting that lube and epsi mod can be done simultaneously, though the epsi mod must be done first since the lube will prevent the double sided tape from sticking to the stab stem. However, after epsi modding, lube can still be perfectly applied like normal to the inside of the stab housing, the outside of the stab stem, the wire, and even the inside of the stab stem where the epsi mod was performed.
Thank you nearLucid, phenomenal video! :pogU:
