I type wayyy faster on old keyboards for some reason. Im really trash with my mech keyb ( red switch ) cant get more than 155 wpm, but I think browns lr blues are better in general for typing

Ive reached 100wpm on both mech keyboards(tactile and linear) and a laptop small one. On really old ones I struggle getting over 95.

I did my first custom keyboard build today! It was hell....
If you want to hear me blabbering and complaining carry on reading this. If not... go the hell away from this comment.
First of all the pcb and keyboard were all weird so it toon me nearly 2 hours to take it apart to put the sound dampening foam in. Secondly it took me just over 6 HOURS to lube the holy panda switches. Bare in mind that this is a 60% build. And it took 6 months for everything to be delivered. Also I accidentally bent the pins on 4 of the switches so then I had to put them back to how they were. 😨 5 star experience 10/10 would do again.

i use the akko world tour tokyo "epomaker 2048" keyboard with cherry mx browns, first mechanical keyboard i have ever had and honestly amazing... i dont understand how a keyboard could get better than this unless its more tactile and requires less force to press down. that being said, this is extremely comfortable and i love this keyboard
You have no idea man, MX browns are considered the worst in the mechanical keyboard hobby definitely not the best tactile switch, very scratchy
@@coolbus_4585 in COMPARISON to other mechanical switches, they arent that great. when you arent comparing them to anything else they are really nice

@@charlieneedshelp989 they're okay. it's not the greatest, but they're still very nice honestly. going from a membrane to browns is a huge difference. plus, i'm so used to them that i type better with them because i'm used to the weight you have to press down with.

you should probably replace the stabilizers, or at least clip and lube them. I'd recommend /u/faxe360 's Genuine Cherry/GMK stabs
If you're going to replace the stabilisers, why not go for Zeal stabs?

just built one of these too. i used kailh speed coppers , and the wood case absorbs a lot of the sound when i compared to my other boards which had gateron browns. If you are buying from banggood dont downlaod the driver from there its not up to date make sure you get it from the official website here www.jikedingzhi.com/downloadlist?driverID=41

Ah yes the tablet that can probably dethrone the Wacom CTH 480
The cherry profile keycaps would have interference with your switches since they are mounted north-facing. The bottom out sound of R3 (ASDF row) is terrible compared to the other rows. Consider picking up keycaps that are of a higher profile such as DSA, OEM, SA, etc.

You should try the Tiffany Blue Tealios V2 (Linear) switches they are much much more smooth then the scratchy cheery and kailh switches. Plz try.

I think the gk61 stabs come pre-lubed. also I noticed they're a little bit too small, and I had to use plastic wrap to fix it.
