A strategy is high-level. It outlines the scope of the plans. Tactics are more micro and often focused around smaller steps.
When it comes to link building, there are 3 main strategies to get backlinks.
The first method is to create backlinks. Creating backlinks means manually add links on one domain back to yours.
Is this strategy useful from an SEO and ranking perspective? You’ll find out in the video.
The second method is to buy backlinks. And buying backlinks is exactly as it sounds. You pay webmasters or authors a fee, and in return, they’ll link back to a page on your site.

The final way to get backlinks is to earn them. And there are 3 common ways you can do this:

Hey sam I'm facing a problem with guest posting I have great content ideas which i have found from ahrefs content explorer... but when i send a personalized email to someone (not so personal talking about their daily life ) related to work but i'm getting paid offers but I'm working with a telehealthcare startup but they don't have much funds to spend and I personally doesn't want to spend much money in guest posting...
how to get free opportunities with high success rate.... I also tried resource page link building approach and outeeached to websites who were linking to broken or outdated content but got no response
Getting links is hell of a mess now. It was super easy back in 2012 when we used to make thousands of backlinks per day

What about expired domain 301 redirect
I link my domain to expired domain which forwarding with 301 don't give me small effect.
How does Google know that you've purchased a backlink? or perhaps you went down the sponsorship route which is exactly the same you just come at it from a different angle.

Google finding someone after buying and penalising is extremely rare.
Because it's almost impossible to tell if a link is paid or organic.
So many websites are buying links these days, how many Google can penalise?
