I’ve tried this challenge countless times, literally I’ve put in hours, I’ll definitely try this out. The trickiest part that I always mess up because I find it hard to prepare for is the braking after leaving the open area, where the road is reddish and very narrow, that kills my time always. The 50 mark is a great heads up.

1.58.580 with controller. I use abs 0 until the 180 corner, on that corner I use 3. Countersteering of and brake on -4. I just can't beat it. More than 400kms already.
@kvnlcrx3944 do you mean TCS?? I have ABS on weak and TCS on 0 and all the other assists off as they slow you down. You need to be careful with the throttle out of the hairpin. I use a standard PS4 controller with the left stick for steering and the right stick for throttle/ brakes. It's also important to use manual gears to get the best times
@danielvakula you're nearly there then. Have you turned off all the assists (apart from abs)? TCS, ASM and countersteer assistance will all slow you down
@danielvakula I use a standard PS4 controller, so there is no need for fancy equipment. But I do use the right stick for controlling the throttle. This is what you will need to master to turn off TCS. Also concentrate on reducing your steering angle as you exit corners so you are driving a smooth line.
Just completed this yesterday after trying over 100 times and probably over 14 hours expanded 1-2 hours per day. My time was 1:58:470. Did it with a PS5 Controller Traction 3 everything else default and off. Automatic transmission just mastered the turns 🥹
Got 1:59:3 so far. The barriers are not just a fail state but also a huge mental block haha. I feel like I’m being too careful.
It is a tough challenge and I had more attempts than I'd care to admit to get my time 😅
Great vid. Never thought about using manual transmission since I'm using a controller. Might give it a go.
From what I understand, many top players use a controller. I use a standard ps4 controller. Manual gears will give better control and faster lap times

Did you watch the video? I talk through all the braking points and racing lines. It did take me a fair few attempts to get down to that time so practice is key. Learn the segment and perfect it 👌

@BernadetteHolt there is no magic bullet other than practice. I didn't count how many times but I usually keep going after I get gold until I don't think I can go any faster. Be sure to use manual gears and all assists turned off apart from abs
