    Interesting to note, Ordinator hand-to-hand doesn't actually require Light Armor. Once you get the first unarmed perk, you'll level light armor just by punching things, and only miss out on a slight bit of damage later on if you wear a different armor type. Playing a heavy armor or alteration-robe monk is still perfectly viable, and of course unlocks other benefits like being more tanky or having more magicka

      Isn't there a heavy armor perk that add some of your armor value to punch damage? Or is that changed in the ordinator mod?

      @@matth2283 Ordinator removes that, yeah, but the value you get from the Light Armor perks is so much better anyway.

    Did you know you can talk down the guys at the door to the ratway? I only learned this recently and it blew my mind. You just walk up to them and talk to them before they agro and then pass a speech check

    1:02:16 reminds me of Bushido Blade, a fighting game for I think the first PlayStation, the fights were really short because stabbing someone with a sword just once kills them.

    Ordinator is cool but, I would of used Adamant with the Hand to Hand addon mod....It gives Hand to Hand it's own perk tree instead of tying it to Light Armor
    Also, I don't know how you feel about AE but, it does add gloves that do extra unarmed dmg in a bunch of different styles

    Odinator has some really fun options to build around. If you combine it with the related spells mod theres a lot you can do to make a magic character actually feel like a proper Wizard, spells like Ocato's Recital make temporary buff spells worth using again and the Alteration tree has an option to use a Vancian Magic system instead of a mana bar which is novel and fun.
    However the real OP powerhouse of the Ordinator perks is on an assassin/theif type character. I made one once and while I can't remember all the different perks I do remember that I could like teleport behind enemies and oneshot stealth stab them, or I could reverse pickpocket a magic coin onto them that, when activated remotely, caused them to frenzy.
    Overall Ordinator just does a really good job making different play styles more fun with unique abilities and an sense of creative flair that the base perk system simply doesn't have. Looking forward to seeing what it can do for a hand to hand build. You should consider pairing it with a mods like precision and CFPAO to really transform the experience.
    CFPAO stands for Comprehensive First Person Animation Overhaul. It reworks all of the first person animations to look and feel better. Instead of your punches being the same haymakers all the time you get jabs and such too. Precision works well with CFPAO because what it does is improve the melee hit detection system to be more precise. You should have no problem dropping them in mid save.

      the vancian magic perk annoys me because it's only tangentially related to vancian magic by using the name "spell slots". the key defining trait of vancian magic is that you prepare spells when you rest. Once you cast the spell, it's gone - you can't cast it until you prepare it again. (Unless of course, you prepared multiple castings of the spell.)
      Thats why they're called spell slots - they're literally slots you can prepare spells in. I think that could've been interesting, but the ordinator perk is basically just non-regenerating MP with the caveat that all spells cost only 1 MP, which means you have even less decision making - There's no point in using weaker spells ever if the cost is the same as your strongest spells.

      @rustyshovel7179 I disagree with the last point completely.
      The beauty of Ordinators Vancian perk is that once you use a cast the spell is free until you stop casting it.
      To me that actually makes traditionally weaker spells, such as Flames, far more powerful than their later counterparts. With a spell like flames you have infinite fire damage as long as you keep holding the trigger down, and it also doubles in strength.
      What is actually annoying about the vancian perk is it doesn't tell you how many casts you have left.
