Yeah but at the same time he made the franchise look worse and worse as the films got, well, worse and worse. Primus the last knight was horrible.
That’s your opinion but I think he actually made some good things come out of it like making interesting takes on characters and stories and he even inspired some tf shows and honestly without these movies I probably wouldn’t have gotten into this franchise

I never imagined Animated had a backstory for so many omega sentinels! Also I like their take on the alternate mode the best, it just simply makes sense. I wish we got to see more of them, and in fact more of animated in general...

Check out those Animated leftover materials and you will realize how Animated is really "more than meets the eye". Shame that all great things get killed so quickly.
Just finished animated recently and it might be my favorite transformers tv show. So disappointed to hear it was cut short.

The Transformation they used for him in that original toy commercial is how Omega Supreme should have always transformed in the G1 cartoon.

I love how the characters bonded to the Animated Omega Sentinels are all homages to other (sometimes obscure) characters.
that was the beauty of TFA, they really tried to homage EVERY part of the Transformers franchise no matter how small or superfluous it might have been and while I enjoyed TF: Prime
I'm sad the planned fourth season for TFA was cancelled because Hasbro wanted to make a new series to air on Hub
@@ShanaReviews The Hub and ROTF were the reasons Animated was cancelled. The joke was on them, because the Hub couldn't really compete with the likes of Nickelodeon and Disney Channel and in 2014, it became Discovery Family, with most Hasbro and acquired third-party cartoons being moved to daytime.
I really like what they did with them in Animated with the different colors and Greek lettering names. I’d like to see more of that in future series rather than just only Omega has a unique name and colors.
Odd fact: TFP despite being the best show it was also a failure too that's why we aren't getting another resurrection again

The latest version in Siege were really quite breathtaking and mysterious, the mythology has grown and evolved so much, I've kept up in stages but right now the pay offs are really satisfying, great vid man I'm loving these trips down memory lane
The more I learn about things that would've been featured if TF Animated had gotten a third season, the more I so desperately wish it had gotten one. It would've been AWESOME to have Sigma Supreme reactivate and transform like Omega.
It was a *fourth* season TFA didn't get, not a third! The flashback mentioned here would have been in "TransWarped", as another of the scenes of Ratchet's memories of the war that we saw in that episode.

My son actually sees the Omega Sentinels as cute and cuddly in appearance.
I was infatuated with this sub-group as a kid. Even drew my very own guardian at one point.

Omega Supreme is one of my favorite Autobots since my childhood. So it stands to reason that I wouldn't mind any videos related to his origin &background, Sentinels included
I always liked how Omega always came to the auto bots aid when needed and the auto bot return the favour by servicing, repairing and gathering energy for him.

Every time I think I know a decent amount about Transformer comics and TV shows, Chris comes out of nowhere with full collections of Transformers encyclopedias. Such an impressive and entertaining channel.
Came back to rewatch because the omega sentinels are actually getting a toy.

I always liked Omega Supreme. I haven't watched the Netflix show yet, but now I'm tempted.
Very interesting and pretty cool that TFA actually gave names to all the other sentinels and the fact they were all Greek names just like Omega. And their own color scheme

I just realized that there could have been another depiction for Omega Sentinels, they could have also be depicted as troopers of Cityformer Titans in Cybertron's past but when Titans would have left the planet or went on deep sleep; Omega Sentinels would have become kinda state guardians of Autobot cities, each in status sleep and waiting when needed.
But from what they would protect? Titans were designed primarily as space ships and mobile bases, when most causal duties is done by regular Cybertronians. I personally prefer Quintesson origin, as it would explain existence of beings purely designed as enforcers. What is bit odd for Cybertronian design? I assume most were destroyed during rebellion, but because Quintessons didn't understand that they are sentient, some could switch sides.
@@TheRezro If any of the Autobot cites were under attack, that city could be able to activate sleeping Omega Sentinel for an aid. But if whole planet is under attack, each city would activate they Omega Sentinel.
@@MrDoctorVK From who? Cybertronians are alive. They operate more according to evolution logic, not design. Titans could defend themselves, as well as did have Cybertronian crews. Sentinels are so specialized that they needed to be design, either or Quintessons or one of factions.

Really interesting video - thanks for making this. I had seen the Omega Sentinels briefly profile in the 'War Dawn' second series Transformers cartoon back in the 80s, and thought it was an interesting use of Omega Supreme's origin.
The earliest references to Guardian robots I remember were from the U.K. Marvel Transformers comic in the 80s, where the resident Guardian robot on the Autobots' ship, the Ark, went rogue and caused the apparent death of Swoop, resulting in the Dimobots self-driving themselves; and then there was the storyline which involved Optimus Prime returning to Cyberron, only to be falsely accused by the Wreckers, after being accosted by a customised Guardian robot. Both Guardian robots were visually different from those of the cartoons, but their more 'more normal' and less than gargantuan size meant they were often closer to the action.
Interesting in your video Chris, how the more recent toy versions of the Omega Sentinels visually resemble a strange cross between Fortress Maximus and Metroplex. The Headmaster version in particular reminds me of Fortress Maximus and Cerebros👍🏾

There was an Omega Supreme in the Transformers War for Cybertron video game who was protector of the Omega Key (?) I could be wrong though its been awhile since i've played that game
There was, and you can learn more about him in Omega's dedicated video - the only mention of the Sentinels in conjunction with that version of the character was a note in a pop-up book!

Amazing! Thank you so much for this. Omega is my favorite TF, but I always enjoy content about the guardians as well. Also loved the part about the Keepers novels. I actually think they are decent and get too much hate. It's been so long, I seem to recall that Omega Sentinel was colored black and Gold, similar to Black Zarak. I'd love to see an artists rendition someday.

Once again, another informative video. I always thought he was a dull useless character for backstory purposes in G1, and then felt like he was shoehorn in the Netflix series. But when laid out with all the other forms of media, Omega actually has a good and complex history.

Personally, as with most things, I'm beginning to realize, I prefer the Animated version of them. In my own headcanon I call them the Omega Guardians.

I like the route where they made the omega sentinels as guardians or super weapons created during/later in the war being omega supreme as the last one to stand and helps the autobot her or there
