My Sony 50mm f/1.2 almost never leaves my camera. It’s taken some time but 50mm is my all time favourite focal length for everyday shooting. Tried 35mm for a while but never fully enjoyed shooting with it.
Another great video, Curtis - especially given the circumstances you mention. I always look forward to seeing Manchester and the other UK locations featured and time and again the passion you have for photography out on the street. Thank you!
Just awesome... I felt like immediately running outside and start taking some photos after watching this video... lovely shots... thank you for sharing
Hey bud I know I mentioned on IG but super sorry for your loss. I'm sure you have a great support of friends and family but you have plenty of support from your platforms as well. Pics are great as always and getting back to doing what you love is some great therapy in itself.
Having used and owned the Canon RF 50mm 1.2 before, I know how dreamy that 1.2 bokeh can be!! I’m tempted to pick this Sigma 50mm 1.2 up for my Sony A7CR! 😍
Thanks so much for this fun walk around. A 1.2 is such a razor thin focus. That man’s hand was out of focus when he was pointing. I like 1.4 primes but I’d really appreciate a small 50 1.8 G lens one day hopefully.
Bereavements are never easy Curtis. You’re doing the right thing and getting back in the saddle. Need to look after your mental health too so do what makes you happy. I was down in London this week with the family and no camera (except an iPhone). I walked past so many of the shots I’ve seen in your videos and wished I had a camera with me. Maybe next time. Give me a shout next time you’re up in Scotland
Love your videos, just purchased my first camera, a6400 , I’m new to photography, would you say that the 50mm 1.8 would be a better choice than the 85mm 1.8 ? I’m platonic do street photography and take with me on vacations. Which lenses would you recommend. Thank you for your help and advice🙏
About to pickup a 50mm! I feel 85mm is too punched in for street photography and 35mm captures more of the scene than I want. Plus it’d be nice to not be so close to people.
@@CurtisPadley yeah, but I just got into this as a hobby when the a6700 came out and already dumped almost 10k into everything already so I could use a break. At least 1/2 of my lenses are full frame for when it does come out (samyang 24 1.8, yongnuo 85 1.8, tamron 70-180, 50-400, and sigma 150-600).
It would be helpful if you could pronounce the "T" in words, I had to play your pronunciation of one word (2.18) serval times and was still unable to understand what the word was.
Okay so the Fujifilm F1.0 50mm lens is actually for APS-C camera not fullframe. Canon and Sony also offer full frame 50mm F1.2 lens but they are very expensive. The sigma is nearly if not half the price of Canons and Sonys and offer incredible performance. I HOPE THAT ANSWES YOUR UNNECESSARY ALL CAPS QUESTION! 😂😂😂
Who here is apart of the 50mm squad? 🫡

yes. i am ,but at first 1.8😢
i am ... but 65mm sigma is spicy too...but i think its kind of 50mil variation
Your skills haven’t rusted a bit, Curtis. Hang in there, guy. Cheers!
Thank you Paul, certainly feels like I have but it's great to hear I have not, good confidence boost, Cheers :)
Finally somebody that reviewed this lens and actually took it for a spin instead of just showing test charts!
I use the Sony 50mm 1.2 - I love it... it pretty much stays on my RV. Good to see you back!

Your enthusiasm is perfect for these.
Thanks mate glad you enjoy! ⚡️

I'm curious to know a little background about what happ3ned?
I love your skills! I was wondering if you could make the exact same video with the sigma 24-70 2.8 II. It would be awesome
I really have to make it over there soon. Really wanna see the Shambles
You absolutely do mate! ✈️🇬🇧
Great video!! which is the most used present when u do streetphotography?
Great POV as always!
Hope you're doing better now.
Thanks mate!
Trying to keep busy and focused on what I love, that is helping.
Some great photos there Curtis! Shooting with an f1.2 lens have helped 🙂
You have not lost your touch. Great photos!
Thanks mate :)
I love your street photography results!

I’m a big fan of your work. Keep it up.

I am just about to buy this lens. Been saving up for it. Can't wait to do some street with it. Great video Curtis.
Do you always shoot in burst mode.
Random question: Do you use back button focus or do you just use the shutter button to focus?

Are you shooting manual for all of these shots? Well done, Curtis!
What is the lenses for this headshot video?
nice photographs. which body did you use with this lens…?
Hi! Grets pics! Whats your fastest way of changing the exposure while you are shooting on the streets? Thanks
Nice video and pictures!! What is this city ? It's remember my Manchester.
fantastic! keep it up.😍
Havé you tried this lens on your A6700?

Thank you Jim, it’s definitely helped jumping back in after sometime away. Absolutely needed 🙂 hope you had a fab time in London ⚡️
@@CurtisPadley London was great but think I need to go back for a dedicated photo day for myself rather than have the family in tow
Just ordered a camera because of you!
I’m so sorry 🥲😂 nah just joking that’s awesome dude what you get your hands on? 😄
@@CurtisPadley Sony ZV-E10 (Plan to record with it a little bit as well), with the kit lens, will probably end up buying the 55-210mm as well
@@MOTO.KRAZEY Ayyy thats awesome dude! I will also defintily recommend the Sigma 18-50! Fun with your new camera :)
@@CurtisPadley I second that
can't satisfied without watching this man's vedio
Finally upload. I really waiting your content 🎉
Amazing pics. My favorites are 2:57 and 6:08
What Tele photo lens would you recommend for the Sony a6400?
I bought the light room preset. It charged my card, but I could not add it to my Lightroom app

Can you please make a tutorial of how to create preset-worthy edits ? BTW love your work brother ❤

that's a nice lens
I love my sigma 30 on the a6700, so 45mm. Don’t have full frame yet. Waiting for hopefully the a7v to be announced.
I need to try out that combo! Do a POV with it too! I don't know if there are any rumours of a A7V coming soon 🤔

Thank you for the feedback on the Instagram post Curtis ❤️
Amazon video and shots as always 💪
My pleasure! Glad you enjoyed the video! :)
Waiting on an 85 1.2
3:24...it will be good in B&W too :)
Im still waiting for my sigma 50mm f1.2 to show up😞
nice photo🎉
Thanks 😄

@@mac69041 So you think commenting on someone’s accent and in turn insulting them is gonna help?
U gt it all ...classic category shots. I use fixed aperture f1.4 Tamron 17-70 with stabilizer for my Sony body
FUJI HAS F 1.0 ..... CANON HAS F 1.2 ......WHAT IS THE BIG DEAL WITH SIGMA ??? 😂😂😂
