I gotta say….I’m loving this series!! What a great idea to do this Bobbi! Theres just so many foundations; and how the heck is a 50-something woman supposed to know which one to pick! 😄 Ugh; I’m on a mission! So I’ve really been enjoying this! 🥰
Oh thank you! I'm glad this has been helpful! I understand the mission! Having the right foundation make all the difference for the rest of your makeup!
I have this foundation and was pleasantly surprised by it. Wasn't expecting any miracles, but this is absolutely great foundation. I don't have a lot of redness on my face although got some wrinkles and my skin is extremely dry. The foundation stays on all day and looks good. Have to admit that looks better on my face than Estee Lauder foundation. Thanks Bobbie for another great review!
I love this series ! I hope you do this with all the categories of makeup ! It is such a big help to have a person you trust recommend a new favorite ! Thanks Bobbie !
I just discovered your channel on a RUclips recommendation, and wow, I am LOVING it! New subscriber for sure! As a 67 year old, "well maintained" 😂 lady with good skin with the usual lines, wrinkles, dark spots and dryness, it's so refreshing to find a channel where I feel I fit in. Lifelong makeup lover who owns way too much of it, I really enjoy watching your reviews, comparisons, and techniques. Lately my focus has been on base products, specifically foundations and primers (I had to break away from my overflowing collection of eyeshadow palettes and mascaras before it takes over my spare room ☺️), so the timing is perfect for watching your foundation roundup! Today is my day off from watching my grandkids, coffee in hand, I think I'll binge watch your videos today!
Fun, fun, fun series, Bobbie! I, too, have some of this Cover Girl makeup and I agree that it takes a loonnggg time for it to dry down! But it does look great my skin.
Thank you so much for this video! You are not only doing us a huge favor by representing all the foundations, you are doing yourself a huge favor! I love these videos!
This is a great review, and the foundation looks really nice on your skin, it does not appear dry, patchy and it does not settle into fine lines. Love this series!
I have been using cover girl liquid foundation since 2003. But at that time they had a different product and I was using number 115 and it was perfect. It remained my foundation for years and I would stock on it. I tried others but none competed. Never the right tone for me. Then they discontinued it and I panicked and contacted a cover girl specialist by ?email. The reply was that from the new product they suggested shade 220. I did this and it worked. I have not changed it since then. I sometimes wear a primer under it, the one by Benefit which is wonderful. I am above 60 yrs.
I just purchased this product. Today will be the first time trying. I do know the smell is STRONG. Hoping I don't have a reaction to the fragrance. 58 years old
We have a winner 🏆🙌. It looked very good. Powder doesn't work for me either. Just use a setting spray. Do you always set under your eyes? That's the 1 place once in a while I do. Seems like I'm always trying a new powder for that area, loose or compact. Thanks Bobbie for these foundation reviews.
Thank you so much for the demonstration. I have the exact problem with creasing in the same areas as you. Every foundation I try settles in my lines. No matter what trick I try....UGH! I will have to try this one and see if it works for me.
Just seeing this video now, but if you haven't tried it yet, I'd say a good alternative to Physicians Formula foundation is the Neutrogena Hydro Boost hydrating tint.
This is such a great series. Thank you for doing it. This is just the kind of info I need. I was going to look into this based on your results but won’t because of the strong scent. My skin can’t handle any scent.
Yay - this is the one I've used for a while and pleased to see you like it! Really enjoy this series (I think I was asking you about CoverGirl products a while back) Interesting though I never noticed the stickiness - or if I did just hasn't bothered me. Thanks Bobbie! 😄
I really like the Covergirl+Olay cream foundation that comes in a flat pot. It's really excellent on mature skin but it seems like it just doesn't go very far. It's a small container and get's used up really fast but it's great for travel since it's not a liquid.
I am so happy that I find your video.Thank you sooooo much!I will try this Foundation for sure. Except some moisturizing I don’t use anything else and finally being 88 y.( Yung?!) i will try this for sure. Thank you again, from your new subscriber ,Ana 🇭🇷🌹
I have been using this foundation for years. Not sticky, good coverage, long lasting. I apply it with a brush or a sponge. Looks natural, I do not put too much. I tried very expensive foundations, Cover Girl is much better...for me. I am a young looking 70 yr. old. It does not smell, if it does, it's because it's too old, like any makeup..mascara, lipstick, etc.
Bobbie thank you for this series! You look fresh and light in this foundation! What are your thoughts on starting with something other than “hi guys” maybe hi friends? 🥰🥰🥰
Enjoying your content. I think you should use the brush on the right side (as we watch you) as it’s your trouble area and it seems to work far better in every video on your left side. If you continue this series with other brands - I’d definitely switch the sides and the results will be better overall, thanks for sharing this for us all to analyze for our skin. 😊
I just bought this foundation. Applied with a brush. Within a few hours it looked horrible. It never dried down, even with powder. My skin is straight up normal.
I'm really enjoying this series Bobbie and hope you will be making more in the future. I'm going to add this to a list of 'one's to try out' lets see if I can get passed their scent. Thanks again have a great day!
❤ 😍 💖 this series! I have noticed a pattern this week. You always look better with the brush side! I know you love your sponges. However, with that brush you are not in my humble opinion. During yourself any favors with the Sponge side. I also have sever rosacia! I use a small amount of color corrector before applying my foundation that also works as a moisturizing primer. This 1 simple step helps with the wrinkles, settling into my lines and adding a more uniform coverage. Quick, simple and less is more waste of foundation. Just something to 🤔 about. You are just a shining ✨ 💛 💖 in a sea of makeup youtube!
I couldn’t agree more. I always show a sponge side to show both applications. When I am doing my own now I start with the brush and finish with the sponge. Perfect combo usually! I don’t usually use a color corrector but concealer. Again, I don’t use them during reviews because I want to show it without help. What corrector do you use? I need a better one.
I thought the coverage was good for what it claimed. It's definitely not a full-coverage or even a full medium. I think it's a high light coverage up to low medium.
Ki dont like it! It looks pale patchy and gray to me! It deletes your gorgeous glow! You look soo much better - just BOMB!- in other foundations you've featured !!
I still cannot find another foundation I like as much as this one….and I have tried MANY! I have used it for about 4 years. Great review!

Do you use a primer?
@@karenpatton7171 Not very often. It depends on the weather.
I've been using this Simply Ageless foundation on and off for a few years. It's the only Covergirl foundation that works for me.
I love this foundation with a primer underneath and it looks good

You look much younger than 55!. Appreciate your reviews as I am in your age range. ☺️
Wow, thank you! Best compliment EVER! 🥰

Hi Bobbie, l love Cover Girl foundation, l use it all the time, and the Elf foundation too, l also use Mac foundation too, hugsssss
I have had this foundation for about 3 years and I agree that it is not a full coverage one, but does work for lighter makeup days.

I like this series. Always wondered about which one of any brands to use… I could start a small drugstore myself!!

How do you get it off at the end of the day? For me, it's impossible.
@@kristin1533 I usually don't have any trouble. I use just a gentle facial cleanser like Neutrogena or Cerave. Sometimes I use a cleansing balm.

@mindfulmidlife did you use a primer prior to using this foundation?
Been using this for years l love this one.
I really liked this foundation too but couldn’t stand the smell!! It smelled all day and I washed it off as soon as I got home from work!!
This looks so good on you. Every day so far, the brush has looked better than the sponge. What kind of brush is that again?
It’s the BK Beauty 101. It’s linked in the video’s description.
Thank you for sharing these.
Bobbi, I didn’t see a link for the product you used under your eyes. I couldn’t catch the name of the concealer.
Catrice Hydrating Concealer. Here's the link: amzn.to/33XdtUj
Which shade r u testing?
Tyfs 💝
I tried this foundation twice applying with a brush and didn't like it
It didn't give me enough coverage
I thought the coverage was good for what it claimed. It's definitely not a full-coverage or even a full medium. I think it's a high light coverage up to low medium.
What shade did you choose?
I don't like the concelor ? Have you tried it ? I don't like it makes my lines more noticeable
I tried it a long time ago, but honestly I don't remember. Others seem to love it so I think I should try it again.
What is the name of the desktop mirror you mentioned previously or attach a link? I believe you said it was USB powered? TIA 😃
Here you go 🙂! amzn.to/3r21OfI
im watching your videos because im trying to buy a foundation for my momma haha!
You’re a good son!
Just try to get this foundation off at the end of the day. It's *impossible*! (I was using the version in the flat pot.)
Hmmm I can’t handle sticky. Good to know.
Walmart is carrying the Physicians Formula Healthy Foundation!
What foundation shade are you using ?
250 - Creamy Beige
Ki dont like it! It looks pale patchy and gray to me! It deletes your gorgeous glow! You look soo much better - just BOMB!- in other foundations you've featured !!
What shade did you use?
