Honestly Sims nailed the equestrian experience entirely with that moment 😂Could not be more prepared, champion fully trained horse, paid all the fees, and then said horse decides that the entry fee was a donation and they just don't want to do it that day.

The amount of times you said “it’s a glitch” felt so real for what we’ve been experiencing in the sims recently
Playing the new pack for maybe an hour I encountered probably 3 glitches
@@OtakuTemmie’ve been playing for around an hour I think I have encountered 3 glitches (they weren’t major glitches and one of them was with cats and dogs not the horse ranch pack)
@MushroomCat1 the biggest one I noticed was I had one sheep and one goat, they got glitched into one spot and couldnt move. When my sim would try interacting with them she would glitch out too and I had to reset her. Even if I put them in my inventory to move them as soon as I'd set them down they'd teleport back
@@OtakuTemmie weird my sims just would not take care of the goats idk if it was just them being lazy or a glitch but they would also just faze through walls along with some other random glitches but hopefully the glitches get fixed
The biggest glitch I’ve experienced so far is that my sim won’t eat, no matter how many times I reset, she just stays there holding a plate and I have to cheat my way out of it hahaha
I’m not sure I’ve ever seen Simsie so stressed and upset 😂

It’s not that the relationship gain doesn’t work with horses it’s just that they made it harder to gain relationships as quickly even with a tiny home in a past update around the time growing together came out.

Seeing you struggle with all the tasks is really how it is when doing horse shows. I LOVE horses and I loved how you reacted to the problems faced. I grew up doing horse shows and there was one time I was allowed to enter and for the torch run I was on a horse I wasn't familiar with, I didn't even place, and the judges told me I would be able to redo it and they never let me do it. I felt like a loser then but being around the horses just feels good, even if you don't place, at least you tried with such a beautiful animal by your side 🥰🥰
I just knew Stanley would be put to the test, he has become so iconic that it would have been wrong for him not to try out becoming a championship rider! Simsie you are honestly priceless!

the competitions being a rabbit hole is a huge dissipointment for me personally but hey, it's the sims 4, expecting that dept the new gameplay would have been silly 🙄
One of the things i do wish they included was being able to at least see the horse championships, i feel like having it as a rabbit hole kinda makes it boring and just a money grab rather than something enjoyable and i would be wanting to do a lot. Kinda something to do when im poor.

there is a poop randomizer pill in cats and dogs and there is a possibility of getting a golden poop that's quite valuable. i wonder if it works with horses
I need someone to make a mod that allows you to lead horses!! I can’t deal with having to call them over all the time and it can’t work + not being able to get your horse in a certain area by selecting them ugh.
I'd love a like 5 generation legacy series where the first gen has a small farm they've inherited and need to fix up. The second gen raises horses on the farm and trains them but never reaches their dream. The third gen becomes a champion partly because their parent wants them to and partly because they want to. The fourth gen walks away from the lifestyle. They are squeamish and hate being pressured into riding. And the fifth gen returns to restore the farm and be a champion like their grand parent. Drama built in. Defined goals. And a story that ends where it begins. And all the silliness that comes with it being told via the sims.
I’m having the problem to wear whenever I try to interact with anything in horse ranch it’s just a blank bubble and it’s made it impossible to play does anyone know how to fix it?

The pack is completely unplayable for me currently. I don’t use mods. Interaction bubbles are all blank and items all say debug. I know other people have the same problem.

Love watching all gameplay vid's. Somehow the sims game knows who's playing and makes it's contribution to each recording. The last 5mins was absolutely hilarious, sorry Kayla - since you were getting stressed out, but it makes a fun watch. Can't wait to see more content on twitch later.

Not placing in a competition with recommended skills and horse mood sounds like a bug or terrible RNG... and hopefully not _deliberate_ bad RNG to make the final challenge properly difficult. If that's true, like really, Maxis? It's expensive to enter the competition already... _and_ it's a weekly competition, so I hope to the Plumbob that it's only a bug or oversight that will get fixed! lol
EDIT: Well one out of three Ultimate Horse Competitions being winners seems still very annoying and not really worth bothering with outside of the aspiration maybe... if you actually like keeping track of what day it is in-game and I don't know if I'd remember to watch the days of the week anyway. ;w;
Sadly can't play with the new horse pack.. Everything seems bugged? all the horse ranch items are listed as debug and all the text involving the new horse ranch pack is missing, can't interact with my horse or mini goat/ sheep cause, again, txt is missing. Even when removing all my mods etc still not working sadly.. Hope it gets fixed soon. Love your videos Kayla!

I’ve not been able to play the new pack hardly at all. The glitches and bugs are ruining the game and I just bought it 12 hours ago. My sims can’t enter horse competitions due to my horse not being eligible (foal or pregnant) my horse is a male and he’s grown. My horse wouldn’t eat at all with the feeding trough so I moved it and it seems to be okay but now my actual sim can’t eat, paint, ride or anything she just stands there and looks helpless I’ve reset her multiple times and idk what to do. I’ve never had this many issues with a game in my life and $40 to ruin the entire game is not fair. Sims 4 needs to do better!

I hope they do a bug fix soon, my game has been off since I updated it. I even had an adult sim’s clothes get overlaid by child clothes. I don’t play with mods and I don’t have any custom content. I didn’t age up that sim either.
Hopefully we are (very slowly) getting closer to having cars in sims 4 😭🤞
