- My client brought me this table that was in her husband’s family. She wanted to keep it, but update it to fit her home’s aesthetic. She loves the Serena and Lily coastal look and sent me an inspiration picture. She worked with a local designer to help pick a color and settled on Sleepy Hollow by Sherwin Williams. I gave her a few hardware options and she decided on the classic ring pulls which exemplify the Serena and Lily look. Of course, we added a touch of gold just to add a little glam, but not too much.

Wonderful example that an unexpected color can take a piece to the next level. Beautiful job as always. Tastefully blinged is your wheel house. Trust your ability to take it up a notch.
Tastefully blinged. I love that. 🤩 thanks Cynthia!
This color with the new pulls, truly elevates this piece❤❤. Great video, great transformation, thanks so much for sharing😊😊
This was a fun one! Such a lovely color 💙
Very pretty! It definitely brought the piece into the 21st century.
I think so too! 🤩
Oh wow! It came out just lovely. You did such a great job. I love this one.
Thanks so much!
You did a Fab-You-Yes job. Very pretty color 🎉😂❤
Thank you!
Wow! Just gorgeous! Love the color and I think it’s just enough gold color for accents.
Thank you!
It's just beautiful. These type (Serena and Lily dupes)are my favorite pieces of yours. Although everything you do is great and I learned so much! I like that you 'keep it real' - mistakes and all.
Thanks Ann! I do try to share it all. 😅
It turned out beautiful! I love it! Great job! ❤❤
Thank you! 😊

So, so beautiful! I love the color and I’ve used those ring pulls before and they are classic and great quality. Question, if you can help me? What should I expect the finished paint surface to feel like? I struggle so much with having a smooth finish like the factory finish on painted cabinets. Am I expecting too much? I spend so much time sanding between coats and I eventually come up with a soft smooth finish, but I spend sooo much time. I have switched to a spray gun but it still has a light texture. Boy do I wish I had a mentor! 😂
Thanks Kay! I don't think you're expecting too much. The type of paint can play into it. What brand of paint are you using?
You used the liquid sandpaper and then put the primer right over it! Does it not leave any type of residue?
Yep, per their website you did not need to rinse it before applying paint. I've never had any problems. It actually helps with adhesion.
She used a "color designer" for one small piece and still got it wrong? Good grief! Great job as always.
Ha! Thank you! 😊
