Man, I know it's so cliched to say this, but your videos are so underrated! Everything I've seen you do so far has been so well done, and I feel like I'm watching a channel that should have thousands of subscribers. Keep up the awesome work, you're really good at presenting these looks into the games that so many of us grew up with.
@@GamesAreCreative it was not only what you had to say, but your presentation. It was well done and polished, and I can appreciate quality work and the time it took to make that. Kuddos to you!!
Don't have the same memories of SMW as the NES titles (didn't own a SNES, so had to play at a neighbor's), but it was still fun hearing you geek out even more in this one. Good job on your first season!
Thank you for walking through the season with me! When I first started praying about this channel back in 2020 (great year), I had several games that I couldn’t wait to talk about. SMW, Ocarina of Time, and Kingdom Hearts, specifically, have been foundational parts of my childhood and mean so much to me. This channel isn’t just about me, though, so I wanted to come to each series with an open mind and not just focus on the games/areas that already mean the most to me. So this first season acted as both training in video production and preparation for my understanding of the game. I’m so glad I didn’t just jump straight into SMW from the get-go, because by the time I made this video, I had a deeper understanding of where it’s excellent design came from, as well as a better toolkit for making videos that allowed me to write the love letter to SMW that I wanted to write all along. I honestly got really emotional writing the script for this, seeing how the first video game I ever played is helping me grow in my struggles today. This was such an honor to create, and I’m glad you enjoyed it!
I cannot wait for a dive into the 3-D games if your reviews for the 2D ones are at this level now. Also, will you reach the New Super Mario Bros series?
Thank you so much! That encouragement means a lot. So stoked for the 3D games, too. And yes! I’ll definitely be covering NSMB at some point in the near future. They honestly don’t get enough love, and I think they deserve some respect for how they celebrate the series’ legacy.
@@GamesAreCreative personally I think the first 2 are really good, especially in terms of bringing back the classic formula, but also a cautionary tale of over saturation and ultimately, flanderization.
@@Nic_2751 for sure. There’s definitely a fine line between celebrating the past legacy and just cashing in on it time and time again. Definitely feels like we got kinda the same game 4 times, but the core product itself is pretty solid! I just hate that it was redone a little too much.
Thanks for supporting the channel! If you want to follow my journey, check out my Instagram: *@gamesarecreative*
One of the best smw reflections ever. I hope the algorithm picks up on this for people who search up Mario stuff.
Thank you so much man, that means a lot! There’s a lot more coming down the pipe (no pun intended), so stay tuned!
Absolutely

This was a great video dude! I’m very excited for the next season! I loved the ending.
Thanks Sutton! Appreciate you, man. This game means a lot to me, and I’ve been so excited to work on this from the beginning!
