A good way to train medicine is to stand on broken glass barefooted and repeatedly remove the glass shards with tweezers up until your health gets low, then you stitch it, heal back up, and do it all over again.
@Andrut V13 You can't control where you get cut out or how badly. Picking up glass is always on the hands, and if it's a deep cut, it isn't a likely. Going through a window with broken glass could cut you anywhere, and if it's a deep cut, you better have the stuff to stop it quickly, or you'll bleed out quickly.
Really hope the Zomboid content keeps coming, you're one of the few who actually edit their gameplay well and in a way you understand what's been happening, without too much annoying fluff. And of course shooting montages Haven't seen those done this stylized before, you definitely more than earned my sub. Thanks for the content.
Imagine how I feel when I hear people from the other side of the pond try to pronounce Leicestershire. Thanks for the tip though, will try to keep that in mind.
like mentioned already in the comments: your editing style really makes the best out of your PZ gameplay. it's a whole wrapped up vibe that gets you invested right away. no annoying jump cuts, screams or whatever. but at the same time no boring sped up killing sprees, everything is narrated smoothly and comforting. really dig it bro!
Concerning the rapid rate of fish catching; in real life fish get real active during sunrise/sunset, which the game might have programmed in to emulate.
For the record im reasonably confident that plumbing rain collectors to your sinks is useful as I'm *pretty sure* it filters the water, at least it's done so in my experience. Additionally you can hook it up to washing machines if the cleanliness of your garments is something you care about
Sometimes it seems like Large's tought process just starts leaning into: "What's the point of living in the apocalipse if you can't go out and murder your former neighbours"
I just got into this game a few days ago after having it sitting on my steam library. The creativity people are unleashing with this game is astounding. Great work man. earned yourself a new subscriber.
pro tip for leveling first aid, if you stand on broken glass and remove the glass from your feet over and over, you'll level very fast. First aid helps you do first aid interactions (bandaging, stitching etc) faster, heal faster and allows bandages to act longer before getting dirty.
for reference the first aid skill displays the severity of wounds ie: it'll heal faster or slower depending on. on top of that it also aids in healing speed. Also a little tip, you can boil water in an oven and sterilize bandages/rags to make them heal you faster.
16:25 it make you bandaging, stiching and taking out pieces of foregin objects faster The easiest way to grind it is to take some broken glass, take off your shoes and with proper tool start going into it, and later taking out the glass can make you get a large amount of xp in short time
Dude! Your videos are incredible - the editing, the writing, the narrative structure, the pacing. Truly immaculate content. I only found your channel a few hours ago (from Dorf Fort) but I'm already hooked. Seriously considering subbing to your Patreon as soon as I can afford it - every little bit helps when trying to get off the ground. I hope you cultivate a sustainable audience!
Loved the storytelling, montages, and overall vibe! Congrats on the sponsorship :) Kinda surprised there aren't gun sponsorships given the survival nature of this game and shottys being OP.
When you start, finding cops in front of house is a good sign. Not only is it usually a treasure trove of police and escapee gear, but you'll likely find a cop car radio or tactical walkie-talkie with the Automatic Emergency Broadcast channel already tuned in.
First Aid power leveling is done by standing barefoot on glass shards and picking the shards out of your feet with tweezers. Iirc you can also level it by bandaging and removing bandages.
I recently discovered a quick way to "farm" First Aid training is to stand on broken glass bare-foot and repeatedly remove the chunks of glass from your feet. It does require repeated treatment and some time to heal up (obviously), but its quickly gets a few levels (provided you've read the skill books of course).
11:19 it’s quite easy to train first aid when you’re bad at the game and constantly getting injured lmao. constantly bandaging wounds is a decently passive way of gaining that skill, i suppose haha
6 spare mags is pretty NATO standard on paper, but after twenty years of GWOT combat experience most troops going into combat can 8, 10, 12 or more. In my youth decades ago, when I was guarding airplanes for uncle same, our load out was a pistol, 2 spare mags, and a rifle with 3 spares.
Congrats on the Sponsor! Moving up in the world! Now get yourself Raid Shadow Legends and Skillshare and you've completed the trinity. Also, even if it's a Zomboid video I do like you added RimWorld music. It's so comfy.
I'd love skillshare as a sponsor, I actually used that platform quite a lot years ago, learned some of the more advanced parts of Premiere Pro with a skillshare course (I use davinci resolve now but the concepts transfer well) And yeah I'll take Rimworld's OST everywhere with me so long as I don't get in trouble for it. it's probably my second favourite OST after the new Dwarf fort one.
Im pretty sure the Taurus can take 9mm drum mag, there is a button for it to change the magazine. (You cna find it in Keybinds Arsenal 26 Section, by default its "]")
easy way to train medical is to find *unreadable* break it with *unreadable* i hope that helps. and also very important to *unreadable* if you forget about that you might die
The first aid skill makes patching up wounds faster, and makes bandages last longer, and the standard Military load out is 7 mags, 300 rounds of loose ammo for each gun iirc
that ad was nice 'n' short, alongside the transition into it being very funny. Very good ad placement IMO, and since the ad isn't 10x louder than the video it wouldn't disturb me while trying to fall asleep to your content. Advertisers, please consider hazzor to sell ads to.
i love what you do with the time stamps for the music, i hate when i hear a song in a video and cant find it no matter what i do, i hope you keep it up!
I’m a bit late to the video but love and appreciate the Day[9] shout, he’s really great and it’s cool to see other people into somebody who’s sort of niche!
It's funny to see him called niche honestly, when I was originally a fan back in the day SC2 was massive so he was a really big name. Glad he's still out there doing stuff.
The shotgun beats very nice. Even the reload of shells was put in correctly. Appreciate. It's kinda funny how seemingly unimportant parts like that lets you earn subscribers and likes.
You train first aide by finding a window, smashing it then go to the other side with your shoes off and walk in it. Then keep picking glass out of your feet. Remember to have suture and disinfectant after your session.

Scummy move to put an ad in the video preview!
What are the settings you use for the world? cause every time I try to do it, there are always trees on the road while in your video, it's just grass
take shoes off and stand on broken glass, dont move, remove glass with tweezers or hand, repeat til sick of it.
"Mr Remington is eating well" is such a badass line that it made me subscribe
i was just about to comment about how cool that sounded!
Such delicious Wordplay
Mac and cheese fueled giga chad

What a truly lovely mental image. Thanks for the tip.
Or jumping through a broken window stark naked
Or picking up glass with gloveless hands. Same repairs: tweezers or suture pliers to remove glass, disinfect, bandage.
@@AndrutV13 because you might hurt yourself in a life threatening place (like the thigh or something), it is safer to stand on glass.

Its honestly really funny how in spite of all the hardships large bootyman as gone through he was almost taken out by a tree of all things.
Overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer.
I mean Genghis Khan is theorized to have been killed by STD's so...
Yes
That reverse maneuver around the pole with a trailer, in the beginning, was satisfying.

Might sound lame, but just for reference, I’m from louisville and the locals pronounce it “loo-uh-vuhl”

Thanks for the tip though, will try to keep that in mind.

Just to confirm, 6 spare mags IS the standard NATO loadout 😂
Yes
Military per here, unless our military is just special (which is pretty likely tbh) standard is 5 mags, first line is 150 rds at 30 rds a mag

huh, fair enough, I always assumed it didn't filter water because that would be nonsense but that's good to know, will definitely do that in future.
@@HazzorPlaysGames that's exactly what I thought originally!
It does actually do that. It's rather silly in that regard

RimWorld music is so fitting in Zomboid
How is no one else noticing it 😂
Your estimate of the standard combat load is pretty accurate- American soldiers carry seven 30 round magazines.

If you plumb a sink up to a water collector, the sink will give you fresh water, meaning you don't need to boil it before you drink it

Aside from those however the safest way would be to dig with your hands and then bandage the wounds over and over.
