MacGyver is still one of the best shows ever. That and Quantum leap. I loved growing up in the 80s. 79 baby here. Favourite show ever though goes to the 90s. The Sopranos. Favourite comedy series would be married with children lol.

Looking back - I loved the episode with Ray Charles, and also the one where Johnathan's father got remarried because while it was sad, it's the direction the show needed to go. Tony's and Johnathan's bond grew, which in turn bonded Angela's and Tony's relationship even more. Looking back I can really appreciate Katherine Helmond as the whole package. Hilarious, beautiful, physically fit...she wasn't your everyday portrayal as a grandmother. It was brilliant casting and writing. She was your resident smart ass and shit stirrer, but she would come out of nowhere with some profound stuff and delivered it well.
Best episode: Tony tells Angela, "I love you" before appendectomy the she yells/ shakes him/ asks what he said and surgeon says he would enjoy surgery best if he were asleep .
Katherine Helmand was also in the movie “The Legend of Lizzie Borden”. Which is pretty good. She isn’t instantly recognizable because her makeup is toned down. Love these deep dives please keep them coming.
