Thank you for that update. Katherine was looking quite frail in this reunion. I suspected as much. She was hilarious on both Soap and this show. I watched both of them.
I was still too young (I was born in "82) But once I got to about 10-12 years old I was able to follow non-kid shows. But then there was the Golden Girls, my mother let us watch that show, and we LOVED IT. Flash forwards to now and my mouth hits the floor when I hear the things they say. But they are just too funny. Did you like the GG? Oh and Saved by the Bell, and Silver Spoon.
R.I.P. Katherine Helmond (Mona Robinson). She passed in Feb 23, 2019 at the age of 89 from complications of Alzheimer's disease. She had a wonderful life. So glad they included her is this reunion.
Thank you for sharing this as I was just about to Google Katherine’s age & was curious why she didn’t speak in this video, because it was her character’s sassy & funny remarks that I enjoyed. Awww….rest in peace, mom.
You can see that she already was not really there. It’s nice that they included her, but it makes me sad to see that she doesn’t show any reaction when the others tell the stories. I lost my two grandmas to Alzheimer/Dementia, it’s the one thing that scares me the most getting older.
Rest In Peace to Katherine Helmond who was dynamic! I loved this show as a child and miss this type of influence on us. A different time that we need back.
You are so right , I use to love Tuesday’s , it was my favourite day as the show was on then in Australia, at 7:30pm. I wished i lived in a house like theirs
What’s so nice to hear is how quickly each person is so quick to give the other people in the cast the credit for why they felt so much like a family and why the show was so good!
I met Tony in the early 80’s at Calaway Park outside Calgary. Waited in line for ages. He had such a strong grip when I shook his hand. I was 13. Such a nice guy. Love the show and I will never forget how polite and friendly he was. Thank you Tony Danza for being a great human being.
Proved for example that she helped her colleague later by how coming out - that was a thing back then but she didn’t make to someone… very sympathetic person she is, I guess 😊
This show was an important part of my childhood and Alyssa was the IT girl that I always looked up to. It's really sweet that they all still love each other. ❤️
As a New Yorker, the best part of this classic, icon show is the New York accent and nuances. Both Alyssa and Tony were “actors” but obviously brought their authentic Brooklyn experience and it really made the dynamics in conversation and situations really hilarious. Just nice to watch them reunite and share their times together….
I loved this show. I can't believe it's been 38 years since the show premiered and 7 years since this reunion took place. I'm sure the great Catherine Helmond is making people laugh and smile in heaven the way she still does on reruns of this iconic family show.
Thanks to all the staff, the camera operators, directors, producers, actors, the writers, all the way down to the interns who ran out for the coffee. 'Who's the Boss' was and still is a great show to grow up with.
Loved this show, the cast is perfect! Katherine Helmond was my cousin by marriage. Every year she visited her stepmom (my cousin) in Galveston. My mom and Katherine played together as kids and when she came down my mom would visit with her.

I grew up on this show. Watching this brought back so many good memories of watching Who's the boss? With my family. 80s kids definitely had the best shows to watch!! I remember Mona made us all laugh the most.
All the actors on who's the Boss? Are so respectful to each and keep in touch with each other. That's really great to see. I love this show. I grew up on it.

You're absolutely correct. The show maybe was about the parenting from different perspectives and cultures but what people tuned in to week after week was to see the Tony and Angela story. The "will they or won't they" get together, that's what kept it going for the show. The whole cast had chemistry together but Tony D and Judith L had the most chemistry.
Seriously. They can say all they want "that wasn't what the show was about", but like any art made famous, it took on a life of its own. That's completely what it was about. That's completely what the 10s of millions of fans were there for.
"That wasn't what the show was about" is nothing more then their perspective on the topic in they were fully aware of what it's audience wanted. Multiple tv sitcoms ended by giving the audience what they wanted, one most notably 'friends'. As the producers of friends said, we gotta give the people what they want, instead of what they had scripted out much in advance. In the end that is nothing more then their own reason for npt giving audience what it wanted; at same time a excuse as they could have married them.
If one thinks about it now, as I am. I thank these amazing actors, especially the young kids who gave up their childhood to make us laugh, cry, learn, and be wise about many real life obstacles, full of emotions, ups and downs, through again, real life situations. Yes, it was part of their career, but if we really think about it, they were our brothers and sisters on the other side if the screen!! 😊 I'm so glad to have lived in the same era!!! Thank you!!! Thank You Judith, Danny, Katherine, Tony and Alyssa, for being a bright spot living rent free in my memory
Este programa lo veía cuando era niña y no me perdí ningún capítulo
A show ahead of its time. Never missed an episode. ❤❤❤❤❤
That’s for the fan love and support
Ugh! So much nostalgia! So many childhood memories watching this show!❤
This was a really great show growing up. In a way it also was a template for what a healthy blended family could possibly look like.
How wonderful of Tony to bring real dad energy and educate the kids in the show on current events.
This is what a sit com experience should be for child actors, with the older actors really looking out for the younger ones like a true family.
Wow! Beautiful Reunion with the full cast of Who's The Boss. I am grateful for their wonderful TV Show that I grew up watching. Thankful that they are all still alive and sharing this wonderful reunion with all of their fans. God is GREAT! =)
This is still one of my favorite shows of all time. I have even shown it to my kids and they love it too!
💖🌟
Thanks for the compliment and 💗
My favorite family TV sitcom. I couldn't wait for it to come on when growing up. They're all great actors and actresses. R.I.P. Katherine Helmond 💞💜💞

Wow everyone looks wonderful. Glad Tony changed his hair from grey to dark. He's so handsome! This show and it's characters were great! I can't wait to see the reunion!
This reunion is from 2016. Rest assured he is grey now.
This show is iconic. One of my favorites of the eighties,❤ ❤❤❤
I absolutely loved this show when I was a kid!
I grew up watching this show. They don't make wholesome family tv shows like this anymore. Thanks Tony and cast for the memories!
Im 51, grew up watching this show and so many other great tv shows during that era. My sister and I watched them all.... memories.
They all look amaaaazing 30 years later!!
Had a massive crush on Judith as a kid and nothing's changed , still beautiful
Great Show. I absolutely loved it.
I am from Germany and I find it funny that the show has ended in the USA in 1992. Because in Germany the show first aired in december of 1992.
I just loved this show and what an awesome cast!❤️❤️❤️ so good to see them together today!
Thanks for the love and support 🌹🌹
I remember watching it in the 80s as it was one I would always tune in to see. I am surprised that its now 2022 and it seems so long ago since it went off the air. Many great memories.
My favorite show. Still to this day I watch it.
Loved the whole cast
I wish they still made shows like this !!!
I LOOOOVE this show still to this day!! Whenever I’m lucky enough to catch it, I make sure to watch it! 🥰🥰🥰
One of my TV dads that didn't totally succumb later in life. This show saved me alot as a latchkey kid who grew up fatherless at 5. TV was my mentor and these shows had some good messages
